My favorite character Yukihime is approximately pronounced like the English words "you key he may".
My main characters name is pretty much obvious but I do have some that might get pronounced incorrectly such as Mine, which should be pronounced Mee-nay.
He will honor his words; he will definitely carry out his actions. What he promises he will fulfill. He does not care about his bodily self, putting his life and death aside to come forward for another's troubled besiegement. He does not boast about his ability, or shamelessly extol his own virtues. - Sima Qian.

I know; it's tricky, right?

All my characters' names are easy to pronounce, except for this one: Schlaizy Noithn
I took it from a novel series. It was a name of a town. Frankly, I don't know the correct pronunciation of it is. In my mind, I designated quite a few silent letters and say it as: sh-lazy noit'n
Teams are the number one killer of soloists.
Up Start. Or Seek Trouble. Yeah mine are all pretty straight forward.
I often consider this.
However, I think, beyond the sounds, which syllables are stressed and whatnot can be more telling/interesting.
My main/forum handle is rather obvious (I think), but another major character of mine is named Zavathanir.
Za VATH a NEER

Most of my characters use regular English words slammed together so they're not a problem. The two that get people most are Karnac (Car-nack) and Scarlet Sidhe (Sidhe pronounced 'She'). But then not everyone knows the sources I'm referencing so I don't expect them to get them right.
With those two, I'm normally called 'that huge Tank' or 'anyone see the Stalker?'.

Rod. If you're feeling all formal-like, Rod-er-ick.
I have two characters whose names aren't completely obvious:
Sieanna - It's of Celtic origin, so "Sie" is pronounced "Shee". "-anna" is pronounced just like it looks.
IIe - because of the in-game font, many people have trouble reading it, and instead of "iie" they see "ILE". As one of my robots named after old computers, her name should be pronounced "Two-E".
@Roderick
I have only one toon that begs for pronunciation help: Ka'Althu, which means "forbidden one" in his own tongue. It's pronounced "KAAL-thu." He must call himself Ka'Althu because he is forbidden to use his own name; punishment for committing acts of selfishness. He must refer to himself only as "the Ka'Althu" and must redeem himself with acts of charity and sacrifice until he is called home and returns to his own planet.
My old main is Warpact ie; war-pact
My rad is Pacte de Guerre which is french for Warpact.
My broot is Kreigpakt which is german for Warpact.
Seeing a trend?
I've often wondered how players pronounce their characters names. There are some that are easy to pronounce if your native tongue is English but for other languages it presents an awesome exercise.
My main's name is Murcielago which is Spanish for bat. Its said Mor-see-al-a-go
