Quote:Personally, I want a second round of origin booster packs. Mostly just the tech one for some new power armor. Though of the ones you listed there, demons or mythical creatures would work for magic, and aliens could be either science or more likely natural, depending on how you look at it.
Like a Booster Booster? -
I would love to see Rogues and Vigilantes be able to do alignment confirmation Tips to remain Rogues or Vigilantes. I would also like to see some R/V specific zones and some zones they cannot enter. . .

Rogue Galaxy's, Quantum's & Void's. . . Oh my!
The Kheld Epic Archetypes are (For me anyway) difficult to play, kind of a case of both too much and too little, I am aware that other players do well with them, but my own Warshade is a very slowly growing toon. Also, I have heard some voice complaints that there is no Kheldian VEAT, perhaps I can offer this suggestion to help things along a bit.
An expansion concept of the Kheldian EAT could include the addition of a Rogue Void or Rogue Quantum or Rogue Galaxy H/VEAT. Not Rogue as in alignment, though they could certainly do that through the Tip Alignment system, but Rogue as in choosing their own path rather than following the specific roles they were created for by the council. They all should be able to be created as either Heroes or Villains, making them the first cross genre ATs. Plausible back story would have to be worked to allow for Galaxies and Voids to escape their conditioning or how the Quantums came to possess their weapons, Perhaps a Rogue faction working with the Khelds is responsible for "liberating" them. As rogues of course they would have to face the Council as enemies, perfect bad guys for long mission arcs.
Rogue Galaxy's powers could be pretty much straight forward as per the NPCs. Rogue Voids, infused with Nictus fragments and along with Quantums, armed with Quantum or Nictus powered weapons. While similar in some respects, they would each have to have a unique flavor. Others who wiser than I am would have to lay out suggestions for specific powers & sets, of which some should be probably be borrowed from the WS & PB sets to maintain that flavor. I suspect they should remain more human like rather than having a radically alternate form, though perhaps a hybrid form could be considered.
So there it is, just a concept that is sadly incomplete as is my knowledge of Kheldian lore, and yet I think it is a concept that needs to be explored. -
I love the concept, I would really like to see it happen in some variation or another. Great suggestion!
-
Maybe a simple /wst command would be enough.
-
We have all those information kiosk thingies in game which are pretty much useless, perhaps they could be altered to serve that purpose?

Quote:Or 3) make a Ninja run like power which uses the run on water animation. Also you could have it not change the idle in water animation so it appeared our characters dropped back into the water when they stop moving.
Excellent alternative suggestion! Maybe a "Water Run" power could be added to a future booster pack?
I would love to be able to run up vertical surfaces too, maybe even up a wall and across the ceiling of a room, but I doubt that will ever happen! -
I agree too, it should be on the GMOTD. Alternately, your suggestion of adding a WST contact or having it appear on your contacts list would be just as good. Great suggestion!

Given how long it takes to get a tier four, if someone is willing to invest the effort to do it all over again for a tier five then I say so what? Let them! I don't see how it can hurt anyone by allowing it to happen. Getting one 45% (Instead of 33%) and all the other benefits together from both tier fours seems to be fair given the effort involved. And it's not like very many will bother. It seems that very few of my friends are going to bother going past tier three as it is. If someone else wants to, thats ok with me!
The incarnate system has given me a reason to play my 50s again, and I am enjoying it a lot. I am glad it is there and I look forward to the other slots! -
Been begging for this for a long time. Yes please!
-
The tier 5 could simply be both tier 4s combined. Not so over the top then, and damned expensive to make in the long run!

I really like the "Boot from mission" idea. The "Request star" idea could work too, if a team leader got a popup that asked if he wanted to "Surrender star?" he could choose to agree or reject the request, if he returned during the time period. If the leader agreed or the time period lapsed, then the requester would get the star, nice and easy and things move on without too much delay. No reason to place request limits on things, since an active leader could reject the request and if there is an obnoxious/annoying requester then an active leader can just kick him.
Alternatively, perhaps a "Deputy" or "Assistant leader" could be designated. Then if there is a leader time away period it would default to the assistant. -
As an alt form of Dual Blades or Claws this would really rock! I am visualizing some great animations with awesome audio. . .

Perhaps, instead of 2XP weekends, maybe they could issue 2XP tokens on those weekends as redeemable veteran rewards/badges (Earned by everyone with an active account at time of issue) which would each grant one character 24 or 48 hours of 2XP. This would allow every toon (Below 50 of course) you have to take advantage of it on your schedule rather than on theirs. (Say it is maybe the weekend you have to be away or when a family crisis or real world issues takes you away from the game.)

Quote:Maybe the War Witch you see in Pocket-D is the Praetorian War Witch that followed Apex home, and the ghostly War Witch you see in Croatoa is the spirit of the original?
Good call! Thats one that has had me scratching my head for a while, why there were two of them and one was a ghost. . . -
Quote:The Power Set would simply have to be Cutlass & Pistol, a good mix of melee & ranged attacks, nothing else would serve a Pirate! A broad swirling swish with the cutlass could be the AoE. Maybe even a lone blunderbuss attack for ranged AoE.. . . <Snip!>
Pirates: Mastermind
Seriously. We already have robots, zombies and ninjas. The pirates are being sorely misrepresented. Obvious choices would be deckhands for minions, buccaneers for leutenants and a first mate who may be like a swashbuckler instead of a big dumb brute. Add a little finesse into our sets! Personal attacks are likely to be a pistol but please try something different and toss in a sword too. instead of the ranged 'weak attack', 'better attack' and 'aoe attack' MMs usually skip over how about at least one of those being a bit of swashbuckling? I personally would love to see your daring first mate swing in on a rope when you call him/her. Yar!
<Snip!> . . . .
Perhaps the buffs could be the Pirate MM passing out a jug of rum and/or flipping each pet a gold piece!
Oh Oh! !
We need a Circus Ring Master set too, with Clowns (1st) and critters (2nd) (Lion & Elephant for example) and perhaps a knife throwing Juggler or Strong Man (3rd). (Hm m m Maybe a Bearded Lady instead!) The Clowns could have attacks like Horn, Joy Buzzer and Squirting Flower!
Ok, so perhaps I am being silly, but I really would like to see the Pirate set! -
I love Bullet Rain! Two or three DP toons pulling the Bullet Rain train on a mob end the fight all by themselves!

What I have never understood is, if someone "infos" you, why don't they see that same ID Card/Bio-thingy page? It just seems so logical that they should. And yeah, I would like more bio space myself!

This is not so much a bug as a hole or technical issue so I thought it was best to post it here. I did search and found nothing like this so it may not have been reported here before.
Tonight I was exploring, super jumping along (on) the power lines traveling southwest of Peregrine Island, I jumped off the map and zoned. I arrived on the east side of the Talos Island map, outside the war wall. I turned around and tried to go back, instead leaping off the map into a very long fall, I took 2403ish damage from the fall. Barely survived, but I found myself on a blank surface in a dark fog underneath the Talos map. I was able to travel the full length of the map under the city terrain which I could see as translucent looking up from below. Using the Jet Pack I was able to fly up and return to the normal terrain. . . .
I had to try it again so I went back to Peregrine and I was able to repeat the event and then again several times more. I have also used the Pocket D teleporter and Ouro Portal successfully from under the Talos map. On one other occasion (Many issues ago) I had fallen through the Talos map while jumping across the water but I thought it was just a one time freak occurrence. -
Monsters need to Rampage, they need to be chasing civilians and all up in the players faces. It just gets old too fast when they stand around waiting for you to come to them. Lusca needs to be pulling people off the docks, swarming ships or even trying to pull herself up on land. We need swarms of Clockworks tearing parts of the city apart to build more of themselves and attacking everything that gets close!
Monsters and/or swarm events need to be fun and fully in your face like the Zombies or Rikti. Merits should flow from these events to keep up participation! -

Halloween Salvage - As is
That way you can have Six slots by default, or Ten if you do all the tailor missions and get the Halloween Salvage.
The best part? If you DON'T want them you don't have to do anything with them. Those that DO want them can finally have more tailoring room.
/So. Damn. Signed.
Totally Agree! -
I have just been taking a screen shot and printing it

Indeed, the very grey nature or Ouroborus would seem to fit Rogues & Vigilantes much better than pure Heroes or pure Villains. I would love to see it friendlier to R & V, both in terms of being a travel gateway and for missions devoted to the "Grey" alignments. . . (Red side, Blue side & Grey side!)
