You might wanna tweak the thread name - it's a touch misleading, since you do know where the GM spawn sites are, and are just checking if there are new ones. -

Not quite sure if the suggestion is entirely on-topic, but I'm pretty sure it's at least partially so.
I propose the ability to flag colors on costume pieces as "flourescent". We've seen them on Resistance costume pieces, at least, and having glow-in-the-dark costume would open a whole new world of possibility. -
Here's a tougher one - can one make their approximations in chat?

Well, my previous attempt at disk maintenance ended poorly. That is to say, the clean and simple extension of the second partition turned out to be cleaner to expected - it cleaned out all partition info from the physical drive. A fresh OS reinstall later, I'm wondering if there's any tools you'd recommend to try and recover the data from the erased partition. It's been toward the back of the disk so there's a plausible chance most of it hasn't been overwritten yet, but given my critical miss with the first tool I've googled {eff you, partition wizard} I figured I'd better ask for previous experiences this time around.

Does anyone know of any? PartitionMagic only works up to WinXP and Wondows 7's built-in tools only work left-to-right, which doesn't help me in this case. Thus, does anyone know a way to resize partitions in W7 that doesn't involve deleting volumes?

Far as I can tell, you get contacted by Provost Marchand or Calvin Scott the first time you align yourself with each faction. Thus, if your initial choice was loyalist, you need to run a morality mission {at the end of a subfaction arc chain} and switch to Resistance, at which point you'll get a call from Calvin Scott, or vice versa. You only need to do this once.

An hour and a half? Yow - is that with a full or a quick format? The latter basically just flushes the FAT and is generally done within a minute. The former wipes everything, so the larger the disk, the longer it takes.
As far as sharing goes, it's pretty straightforward, at least for a temporary arrangement. Simply right-click on the folder, properties, sharing and add "Everyone". When you're done copying, simply remove the share.
PS: If you've got a USB flash drive on hand, you could just transfer the files like that. -
Also confirmed with /setoption buffsettings 771; wiped out all autos and toggles from both the status and team windows.
{also, semi-related, I've noticed that /setoption showvillainname 1 will show names above all NPCs, even without mouseover} -
Keep in mind that if you still have your original CoH installation, you can skip most of the downloading process; simply delete the coh.checksum file from the root folder. That will force a file verification and only download stuff you're missing.

Oh, want to see your character from the front when you're outside of the costume creator? Hold down the 'Page Up' key while holding down your right mouse button and moving. That will rotate the camera around. 'Page Down' (or 'B' as well, I think) will reset your camera position.
Of course, welcome to City of Heroes, the best MMO all around {then again, we're hardly unbiased}.
Since you're still on a trial account and can't use global channels, you might check out the in-game Help channel, which is basically a serverwide channel for players to answer other players' questions {or on semi-rare occasions, just chatter}. The tab for it should be in your main chat window by default, and you can talk in it using the /hc command.
