Base Portal in Independence Port

Has anyone else had any trouble seeing it? You have to target it through the map, and even then it isn't really visible. I've had the same trouble in Pocket-D, and I am left wondering if it's my card, or my graphics settings. I have an ATI Radeon HD 5770, and I have most applicable setting turned up to Ultra.

No problems here on an nVidia 8600 card, even if it does look like Pacman gone evil.

I'm running with a Geforce 275GTX, *fairly* recent drivers (about 2 months? can't check from where I am), and I can only see the portals in IP and Pocket D when I'm right next to them. Melee range, you might say.

I'm also not the only one as others on teams have mentioned it. I'm no dev... but if I had to guess I'd say it's something to do with the surface they sit on... the IP portal is of course on a hill, and Pocket D has that whole transparent floor thing going on. I can't think of any other unusual non-flat portal locations.

Not just you, it is a problem for me as well.

Happened to me as well. Running a Nvidia card.

Yep. Actually just noticed the other day while in IP (since I normally seem to take the train or other porters - base, ouro, whatever.)

Also running a 5770.

I noticed this also, running the same card as yourself and like you I have the Ultra settings. I thought they had moved the one in IP without telling us. Can easily find the portals in all the other zones though so I don't think it is anything to do with our graphics cards, as everything else is so darn pretty.

I had the same problem on an Nvidia 9800

Been happening to me for a couple of updates now. As far as I can tell, it has to do with my camera distance. I tend to keep my camera 3-4 click out or more. If I gave my character next to the portal and zoom out it goes away, zoom in and it re-appears.

Affects the O-portal in Ouro as well, zoom out and it will constantly re-spawn, zoom in and it functions properly.

All the Base Portals and the permanent O-portal at Ouroborus has been visually buggy for several months now for me.
