I'm so glad I reserved "Doctor Horrible" over a year ago!

Only to get generic'd in five minutes... -
Give Scrappers a damn fire ancillary pool already.
-
And the trial account restrictions are pretty much standard issue in any remotely successful MMORPG for the same reason they had to put them through here. It's not like you won't find them elsewhere.
-
I wanna see someone get genericed in front of me someday. It's already funny enough when a genericed character shows up and everyone makes fun of them.
-
It's not a wall of text if you use paragraphs.
-
I couldn't be bothered checking, but I think I still have all those warnings from Lighthouse.
I always liked the guy. -
And I'll note that Kheldians are very useful on a team, and I'm always glad to have one, especially if they can fill a gap. The battlefield in this game can change quickly, and so can Kheldians.
-
I believe official word has been that Blasters and Corruptors are gonna get Dual Pistols first, dunno about Defenders. Scrapper Dual Pistols is "Slightly below Assault Rifle Defense and the oft-requested Dual Archery" on the priority list.
-
I've teamed with mousegirls. It was hilarious, especially in the sewers.
I was playing a ghost girl myself, soooo... -
Dual Builds will be very useful for a Kheldian, I'm guessing. You have a lot of options to choose from, it can be overwhelming.

The only problem with this is a TF giver can't be a trainer too; or at least hasn't been so far.
[/ QUOTE ]
I believe it's possible to have separate contacts both with the same name (but different IDs) in different zones (for appearances sake) with one being the trainer and the other being the contact. I can't recall this being used in game anywhere, but I vaguely recall a dev saying it was possible.
[/ QUOTE ]
Technically, yes... but I'm pretty sure they'd consider it immersion breaking. War Witch is only in two zones because they're different versions of the character. -

It's catching on!
I'm telling ya, they'll make millions with a Furry Pack. -
[ QUOTE ]
Just think what they could do if they had gone on a hiring spree and drastically increased the size of their staff, and were writing their code from scratch instead of using a competitor's game engine?
Oh, but I've said too much already.
[/ QUOTE ]
They've done the first part. I don't get what you're saying. -
Force Bolt has a ridiculous magnitude of Knockback. It's one of the most fun powers to have, and most irritating to have used against you.
-
I have a Kin/Rad.
I solo with it.
Or try to. -
Any of them should be fine, honestly. Well, cept maybe Freedom, but it depends.
I think there's been rather confusing changes to the 'Help' channel, but that should generally be the right place. -

and don't forget, no one makes you post, so don't post nonsense, no one cares....

That's a very ironic thing to post. -

Honestly, he might last quite awhile. I wouldn't have petitioned him had I not read his bio. The thing he's ripping off is obscure enough that I wouldn't know it was a ripoff.
[/ QUOTE ]..... the Vision is obscure? He was a frickin' Avenger for years.
[/ QUOTE ]
I was just thinking the same thing. He appeared in 3 different decades of Avengers titles at least and was the chairman at least for one stint, if I recall.
Not like he's the Prowler or Stilt-Man or something....
[/ QUOTE ]
Not to mention that he was in an Arcade Game akin to the classic 90s X-Men side-scroller. Albeit, he was in his white form, not the green one.
[/ QUOTE ]
I recognised him from that 90's Avengers cartoon, of all things. As well as the giant form of Ant-Man.
That show was pretty cool even if it didn't have Thor or Captain America. -
Y'know, we should have figured that if we were gonna get power customisation, the devs weren't gonna do it all in one go. First we had weapon customisation, once the devs figured out how to change the skin for each weapon. Now, by some trick or another, we may be getting power tinting. Yes, we're not getting animation or enemation point changes yet, but in a few months, who knows?
It's probably the best way to do it- as the devs figure out each trick to allow us to customise our powers, they perfect that trick and release it, rather than trying to implement full customisation in one go. It'll take an incredible amount of work, but this way we see the payoff sooner. -

a competent stealth team will always be faster than a competent steamroller team.
[/ QUOTE ]
So I have heard, but I've never seen that actually manifest.
I simply no longer believe stealthing to be a good tactic for any TF or SF and won't participate in it any more. I have yet to see any instance where stealthing actually saved more time than it ultimately cost. The best stealth team I've seen has finished a TF exactly five minutes LATER than a similar steamroll team.
I just simply don't believe it any more.
And besides all of that, I find stealthing immensely BORING to boot.
So, no significant time savings, less XP from fewer kills, and boredom.
No more stealthing for me.

I prefer to fight it out on the highest difficulty,<snip>
[/ QUOTE ]Well, of course. How else are you going to die 20 times in 2 hours?

Let me tell you about soloing my Kin/Rad... -

-A slightly unhinged, wisecracking comic relief who's the only one trying to pay attention to the story
[/ QUOTE ]
That's usually me. Except remove the word "slightly".
And reword it to imply that not only am I unhinged, but the hinges themselves no longer exist.
[/ QUOTE ]
Funny, that was meant to be me. -
Warning about SR, is that it's slow-blooming. For the first 25 levels or so, you'll have something of a hard time, especially since Fire Melee has absolutely no mitigation (besides sheer damage anyway). You don't get your AoE defence toggle for quite a while.
At the high levels though, SR is amazing. -

In the "Canon Fodder" thread, Manticore posted:

I consulted with Ray Snyder, the dev who plays Blue Steel, and he informed me that Blue Steel is a Martial Arts, Shield Defense Scrapper...
[/ QUOTE ]
Cool! I thought I had the only one, hehe. SD/SS Tanker seems to be a much more popular choice for a weapon-less, "natural" character.
[/ QUOTE ]
Or for chemically enhanced super-soldiers that fought in WW2.
