dual pistols?

So anyone got the official word on dual pistols. I ask cause of the trailer from GR.

Maelstorm will be dual wielding pistols.

We've been saving Paragon City for eight and a half years. It's time to do it one more time.

I believe official word has been that Blasters and Corruptors are gonna get Dual Pistols first, dunno about Defenders. Scrapper Dual Pistols is "Slightly below Assault Rifle Defense and the oft-requested Dual Archery" on the priority list.

TY, guess i need to save one of my last 2 spots on Virtue then for a dual pistol blaster, instead of making an eng/eng with i15. I can always use the new faces then :P.

I don't believe there has been any official word yet. Just player presumptions, desires, and educated guesses based on hints from the Going Rogue trailer, some marketing survey last August, and comments made by Positron during the anniversary events hinting at Demon Summoning and Dual Pistols as new powersets.

Everything is definitely pointing to that direction since its a very often requested powerset and we are getting a new signature NPC with that as a powerset soon(TM), but since no official word has been given yet, take it all with a grain of salt. Until you see it on the boards posted by a red name announcing a new feature (not just hinting at it) or on the main CoX site, take it with all with a grain of salt.

EDIT - I may be wrong about no official word. May have missed the official announcement. If there has been, point me there.

I tend to go one better and wait until I see it in the character creator.
