Also, we get rez thru Day jobs and soon (i17) craftable rez. Everyone will have rez. Howling Twilight is the one I would say is the most required. Don't worry about it.

Also you go to Hero Corps Field Analysts and Fortunata Fateweavers increase difficulty to increase xp (and faster xp in groups). Carefull, it can make missions too difficult for certain ATs.
Decide how fast and when you want to level. -

Don't leave it on all the time or have ranged pets and stay behind everyone else. Watch where you are pushing mobs and who you agro with it.

I stay in BG, until I'M ready to attack. I use goto to group my thugs (except brute) for better healing and buffing (more control too) and mostly keep them between mobs and me. When you are out of BG, it helps and then you can't draw too much agro.
When they're trying to run off to chase someone down, they respond faster to Stay than Goto. I only use passive when all else fails to get them back or stay. -

I use it to monitor my vet buff pet. I'm pleasantly surprised when he survives multiple fights.
