All against Malta - Thursday, August 5th, 2010

Avatea

The Malta menace has once again become tangible in Paragon City and the Rogue Isles.

The details of their sinister plot are yet to be ascertained but we know it will happen between 3 p.m. and 4 p.m. Pacific Time (6 p.m. and 7 p.m. Eastern Time). We have reasons to believe that your help will be most needed in King's Row and St. Martial.

If you have the opportunity to don your heroic or villainous costumes then, we'd appreciate if you could come and help us contain this undoubtedly dastardly operation.

Sadly, once again this is on in the middle of my sleepy time, too early to get up for and too late to stay up for.

So I guess I'll miss this one too, as will many people with day jobs I suspect.

Good luck to those who do make it. Malta should make it interesting

Sounds fun, I should be able to make it, if I remember...had a great time at the zombie event in DA

You know this event was fun until it moved to Warburg. If we are supposed to be working together to defeat a Malta invasion then why would we go to a zone where every team can attack every other team. Not good planning. If it was supposed to just be part of the tactics to work together without killing people that renders half of the attacks/holds/control powers unusable. Sorry, but I would make sure you take these things into consideration before planning another event like this.

Agreed that it went downhill from there, as I was also taken out a few times by someone not there for the event.

Still, I had not seen the forum heads-up on this and it was a random (to me) and cool "Gather! Something is happening!" thing. I would like to see more of that kind of event. I felt hero-y

- I also thought the Devs were doing the same thing red-side and were baiting all of us into a massive PVP.

I have to admit, I haven't been to warburg in a very, very long time. The event was half way over before I realized I was targeting heroes. I'm pretty sure some of my AoE during the blizzard I dropped probably messed with hero and villain alike. My apologies, I just wasn't paying attention.

There was one thing I couldn't get out of the event. What was the purpose, if no badge was given?

Name the MOD. Name the offense.

You have made a total of THREE posts to these forums and all three bashed Sisterhood in one way or another. What, exactly, is your issue with me and my SG?

This event has been held on other servers and some of the participants had the same complaint (i.e. Warburg) so I suspect the devs were aware of it.

I didn't learn of this even until today so I missed it. Wish there was a better way to publicize these events besides a forum post. So many don't read the forums.

Just saw this thread and wanted to post that I actually had a ball at this event, and believe it or not my favorite part was Warburg. I'm weird, I know, but it was fun to have to work around not being able to use my waterspout, blinding powder or caltrops. Unfortunately the teams were full, and so I had to go it alone, but it was a blast.

I had to save my placates for the MM pets on the other team, and got a good laugh out of it. A few tells to the other teams let them know I wasn't ganking them even though I had just accidentally swiped at them, and in all honesty I even enjoyed defending against the other stalker (what was his name? Mr. Friendly? Mr. -something-? I dunno.)

I was Strykir, if anyone caught the name.
