I like coming up with my own names, but I'm sort of curious. I'm jumping on the whole ninja bandwagon and rolling an Electric, Fire, or Stone Melee Ninja-themed Brute. So, something that would fit either of those elements that isn't punny. This will be on Virtue too, so good luck.

I've had this happen a couple of times to me, but I'm pretty sure it's just due to the buttons on my mouse wearing out. It seems like it just randomly clicks while buttons are held down. I also get random thumbtacks on my map.

If it looks like people are going to stick around, sure, I'll set missions and look for people. About 90% of the time though, when the leader leaves there's a massive siderophobia panic and everyone quits in a hurry. I actually find it sort of surprising how fickle PUGs are in this game.

I'm sure someone can think of a clever rationale for VEAT/PPP colour customization. Perhaps the abilities manifest differently in certain people, or perhaps the energy used to tap into these powers alters the hue. Who knows!

Here's a question: how important is Power Build Up in these scenarios?
-
Bananadrone~
Sadly, that's the first thing that came to mind. -
Perhaps you could also consider Ice/Kin or Ice/Emp. Those secondaries can be coloured quite nicely to fit with an ice theme, although you might want to keep Transfusion/Transference their default colours. If you're just deciding between Storm and Cold though, I'd go Cold...but I think the combo would be a bit too passive for me. Storm would be a more fun set to play IMO, but 'fun' is subjective.

And yet another option is using /buycoh to bypass the timer. It brings up a browser window/tab though.
It's a good and simple suggestion though. I always thought it should be "press escape to cancel" at the very least. A button would be even better. -
Fire/Dark is probably my favourite Corruptor to solo so far. Good coverage for the debuffs, nice damage, and a lot of strong powers early on.
I've only played /Rad with Ice Blast, so my experience isn't that extensive. He was good at soloing with AM+Hasten slotted out, but he couldn't handle larger groups as easily as my Fire/Dark. He had some great tools for teaming though. Can't beat /Rad debuffs for fighting AVs. -
My vote is for Dark/Dark or Dark/Rad. To me at least, Dark Blast is more enjoyable with an early blooming secondary. I've always found the damage to be a bit anaemic until the attacks are decently slotted with SOs+. /Rad and /Dark are very strong early on, so it should make the ride a bit more enjoyable.
I'm actually working on a Dark/Cold because I love how potentially awesome it looks on paper, but man... not having a lot of fun so far. I figure I'll have to get to 35 before it becomes really enjoyable. I don't know if I can do it! -
I might as well ask this here: how important is Darkest Night for WP's survivability? I was thinking about trying a Claws/WP Brute, but I didn't like the power choices I had to make to fit in two Soul powers. I figure I could muster about 30% typed defenses (except Psi), 2400+ hp, and 1100ish regen with a fully saturated RttC. With all of that, would it be a lot less survivable than a Brute with DN + reliable and consistent AoE KD (Fault, Stomp, etc)? My interests lie in soloing and SFs/TFs.

You know what would go well with innate Sprint? Some kind of... Jog ability that suppresses run speed effects. That would help the people that have issues with Speed Boost or other speed enhancements. That might be a bit much though.
So yeah, I'd be happy with a decrease on Sprint's End cost. Even if it's just temporary until level twenty/thirty or something, I think it'd be a nice QOL improvement. -
I love SSKing and the new difficulty settings. However, despite these new and great changes, I've found myself on a lot more un-enjoyable teams. The thing is, I am not a fan of fighting +3s without proper buffs and debuffs. It seems like running at +2 is really common though, so everyone SSKed is essentially fighting +3s. Sometimes it's really fun, but it has the potential to be really slow and boring.
I can't help but wonder if the sidekicking level penalty is needed anymore though. Would it be game-breaking if SSKing put everyone on an equal level? I know that there's a ton of ways to avoid this whole issue, but I'm thinking that SSKing with no level gap would be a nice improvement. Any thoughts on this? -
I'm still having fun, but the lag on Virtue is pretty bad. It was mostly fine on double experience/reactivation weekend, so I'm guessing the Halloween stuff is pretty taxing on the server. I don't even think it was listed as medium load earlier, and the lag was crazy. Even the citizens and cars were having trouble moving.

Domination still gives mezz protection and extra duration + mag on your controls. That's very worth it to me. Quick recharing mag 4 AoE hard controls are pretty amazing. So amazing that I've kinda given up on my Ice/Psi Dom.
Grav wouldn't be my first choice, but it wouldn't be my last choice either.

Did this remind anyone else of the jails in Ultima Online?
...No?

On a serious note, I'm glad you got your issue fixed so quickly. -
I was planning on trying a Staminaless Kat/Elec build. However, I'm going to go with Body Mastery and pick up Conserve Power+Physical Perfection (and Energy Torrent for some mitigation + FF proc). Kat uses more End though, so Claws should be much better off.
Like BlackBellatrix mentioned, just go the usual Stamina route while leveling up. You'll likely want an alternate Stamina build for exemping, so you can just swap to your second build when you're ready to go Staminaless. That's what I plan on doing anyways. -
I just have the three month reward. Every time I trudge through the first twenty levels of a new alt, I can't help but imagine how radically different it would be with the vet attacks. Usually these kinds of rewards are pure fluff like house decorations, but vets in CoX get some pretty great stuff.

For the longest time I thought I mistakenly bound a key to send a tell to someone named 'Starget.' What's great is, I heard someone else mention this Starget person and thought to myself "Wow, small world! They know the person that I have a weird bind to send a tell to..."
It turns out I needed glasses~ $target! The realization made me feel really stupid. -
The other day I was standing at the Black Market and I got gifted some pretty nice IOs.
...but since it's me with my amazing luck, I thought I should ask if they meant to do that. It turns out it was a misclick, so I handed them back.

I'll probably get neg-repped for this, but I'm going to go against the grain and say that the Energy Blast and Rad toggles look kind of... ugly. The Dark palette doesn't really handle light colours too well, and the result is a very muddy look. IMO, you'll probably be able to make something a bit more pleasing to the eye with a honey, pollen, or floral theme. I'd keep trying to find a balance between concept and aesthetics.
Just don't be like this guy:
He had a whole phoenix concept, and that shield was supposed to be all... fiery and stuff. Sometimes you just have to tone down the RP and consider what looks good instead of what looks closest to a concept idea. -
I got my 15ish Fire/Dark Corruptor to 37, but hoping for 38 before I sleep. It seems like the higher levels during double exp are debt badge mayhem. I literally got two debt badges over the course of 90% of a level. So many people doing patron arcs, so little discretion before jumping into 2389726 Longbow.

I clicked on this thread hoping for a breaking Going Rogue update (it has asterisks!). I am sadly disappointed.
I'm really looking forward to hearing more details on GR.

I sort of prefer to do bank missions solo now. I like getting the exploration badge, and I like doing side missions. It's very rare for me to get on a team that wants to complete all of that. So yeah, I don't hate side missions at all, but I don't bother teams about completing them. I just do it myself.

I'm glad I'm not the only one that's bothered by the huge *** obstructive bubbles. Seriously, there needs to be a new palette or tinting method for the large bubbles. The way it is now, they can be very annoying if tinted poorly. It's not about being ugly, it's about force fields being all up in my face.
I'm all for an option to disable power customization for people that want that, but I really do like what some people have done with their powers. I'd love an option to toggle colours off per person, kind of like a customization ignore list.
