Randomly quitting team without intending to?

Lately (the past week or so) I will occasionally just QUIT my team for no reason. My mouse cursor is nowhere near the quit button. I am not being kicked, it says "You have quit your team."

Anyone else having this problem, or better yet, know a solution?

It hasn't happened to me but a team I was on a few days ago had a memeber randomly quit when he zoned into his SG base.

Probably has to do with the auto-quit thing if you join a team that's too far from your level range

You can adjust that in the menu

I've had this happen a couple of times to me, but I'm pretty sure it's just due to the buttons on my mouse wearing out. It seems like it just randomly clicks while buttons are held down. I also get random thumbtacks on my map.

I had made a post on this a couple of years ago, on the old forums, but it seems to have been removed. It used to happen to me a lot. Pretty much the same things that Nurvus describes: Random thumbtacks appearing on the map, map changing to city view, powers cueing, and leaving the team. It's happened a couple of times in the last week, as well. Although it's not nearly as bad as it used to be, it's still annoying.

I control nearly all of my characters forward and turning movements with my mouse, so my right button is depressed the majority of the time when not on auto.

I don't believe it's being caused by a worn out mouse. It's done it with 3 different mice (mouses..rats..).

Ah...that's what it is then. When you move the camera with the right mouse button held down, it makes the cursor invisible, but functionally, it's still there. So when you left click to move around or whatever, you're accidentally hitting the UI buttons.

Probably worth a PM to Pohsyb about it, I've noticed it doing this for a while.

Yeah, it's been doing it wiht two different mice, one of which is brand new. Just happened a few minutes ago, and I didn't even have my hand on the mouse or the keyboard.
