i agree about disliking 3D movies, thats about 99% why i dont go out to see movies at the theaters anymore is cause they almost always are in 3D
aside from that why do they feel they need to remake a whole bunch of older movies in 3D? (star wars episode 1 being the most recent 3D remake) -

i personally like the posi blast set because it has global rech set bonus, i use that if i have a lot of target aoe powers but already have the purp set, IMO all of the other target aoe sets are kind of meh and i usually avoid them

you shouldnt have lost anything if your playing on an old account, anything you have bought in the past from the old booster packs you should still have
the samurai armor was never part of the martial arts booster pack, it was originally a vet reward but its not earned by claiming a specific paragon reward (i forget the tier its on)
for reference on a majority on what you missed heres the wiki page for all the issues up till current, you came in just before AE so i14 and up would be new for you -
i wish the PTOD were visible in combat attributes, would solve half the issues

im kind of sick of all the tip mishs so i barely run them, i usually just use my mish drops on them, so i log into a bunch of barely played toons and drop a tip that they have

i got 27 packs or so and i got all the costume pieces within like 15 packs, no wolf though but i dont care if i get that one
i got a bunch of various ATOs that i spent most of yesterday moving around to see where i could fit them in, i prolly wont bulk buy them anymore ill just use my stipend on them since i usually buy points for whenever i want to get something like powerset or costume pack -
i opened about 27 packs and got the whole costume set within the first 15, i got a total of 13 ATOs but they were from all kinds of ATs, no wolf pet though although i do not really care about it since it is a retarded vanity pet

to answer all your questions
1. no patron arcs cannot be ouro'd
2. no, it is only possible to get 1 of the 4 patron badges, since you can only choose 1 patron, this is reflected in most badge collecting sites as well
3. in order to get and run a patron arc you MUST be a villain or rogue -
the only thing the target determines for cones is where the center of the cone is, the actual cone should extend to the powers max range and max radius regardless if the enemy is right up in front of you or further back
+range enhances actually affect cones the most because extending the range also extends the area covered by the cone -
ive never felt that the purchase only power sets are over par what the other sets are
after plaing for 5.5 years i just like seeing the new powersets in general for some more variation lol -

I'm not sure if Dark Astoria even offers Astrals (I suspect it does), but I do know it drops threads, so doesn't that just divide your efforts between two no-cooperative modes of progression? For instance, say I only have 9 Astrals, in obtaining them, I've also earned around 30 Threads? Would it be smarter to go with Threads, then?

How about earning threads, but turning those into Shards and gaining components that way? I mean, I know that pure Thread/Shard paths aren't ideal... And are pretty much rock bottom the slowest, but if both of those actually are viable, wouldn't Thread->Shard be the better option?
once i finish my tier 4 alpha i just start converting all my shards into threads since shards are pointless at that point, but i personally wish we had a shard and thread version of all incarnate slots -
i personally think that shard method is a lot easier and deterministic to craft higher tiers, to get the rare or very rare thread components it will either A) require a lot of luck on the trial reward table, or B) a LOT of inf, threads and other components
to get rare/very rare shard components the rare is simply a notice of the well which can be gotten from the weekly tf, the very rare just requires 2 notices and 32 shards which can be gathered over time through all non trial/non DA content
using threads it *can* be faster for the common/uncommon, to get the higher than uncommon tiers it usually requires a lot of luck or a lot of time saving emp merits (8 emp merits for 1 rare and 30 emp merits for a very rare which i feel is very disproportionate compared to the shard conversions) -

Assume you're a hero:
1. Do Ganymede's two-mission arc. To complete the second mission, you'll need a Villain (or Rogue or Loyalist) to click on the box at the end.
2. Find a Villain (or Rogue or Loyalist) who will run Scratch's arc with you as the helper who clicks the final cauldron. This will give you the Badge and unlock DJ Zero.
3. Talk to DJ Zero for Snaptooth missions. The reward table for these missions has the costume unlocks.
4. Talk to Ganymede again and he'll tell you to talk to DJ Zero. DJ Zero will then attune you to Valentine Tips.
my main who already had run both arcs from previous years also never got snaptooth mishs -
most of the toons ive run on have not gotten the snaptooth mish, it doesnt bother me but from what ive seen its because my guys have run it into oblivion in older events, a friend who recently started playing again and doing the event for the first time on a toon got the snaptooth mish no problem

im not 100% sure if the CoP is fixed to use league style stuff, when the COP was reintroduced it was before we had leagues, im guessing if everyone was on their own team it might have worked but its been like a long time since i tried to do a CoP to confirm
