I'm also unsure of what you're asking, but I'm assuming you haven't done the event before? If this is the case, you first need to complete Ganymede/Scratch's set of missions (getting help from an alternate alignment character to do so), after which DJ Zero will become available for you to get the Snaptooth mission from. Each time you beat the Snaptooth mission, you can choose from the list of rewards.
you're right it says "stage 2"
I've done the Ganymede missions, I talked to FJ through the confusing dialog, but I'm not getting offers for more missions.
Did I somehow refuse to move on?
so far I find this event not fun, epecially once you get Botched Ritual stacked on you 2 times makes your toon unplayable.

from talking to people in game I need to join a villain team doing Scratch's arc
I guess I'm just too dumb to get that from either the in-game dialog or the wiki.
I still don't see where it says you have to get the handsome/beautiful badge to unlock snaptooth

Edit: Reread what you said on the previous post. I guess you might have to do both sides, then. Try asking around for a villains help on your servers chat channel to do Scratch's mission, and try talking to DJ Zero again afterwards.
That's not how it worked for me. Do Ganymede's mission, talk to Ganymede, talk to DJ Hero. I did get a mess up where I think I had to do one Snaptooth mish before DJ Zero would attune me to Valentines Day tips. But on the second alt I didn't need to do that.
most of the toons ive run on have not gotten the snaptooth mish, it doesnt bother me but from what ive seen its because my guys have run it into oblivion in older events, a friend who recently started playing again and doing the event for the first time on a toon got the snaptooth mish no problem
I had to run the lockbox mission (a villain mission) before DJ would give me snaptooth missions.
I have my toga and sandals, but it was rather confusing how to get there.
Assume you're a hero:
1. Do Ganymede's two-mission arc. To complete the second mission, you'll need a Villain (or Rogue or Loyalist) to click on the box at the end.
2. Find a Villain (or Rogue or Loyalist) who will run Scratch's arc with you as the helper who clicks the final cauldron. This will give you the Badge and unlock DJ Zero.
3. Talk to DJ Zero for Snaptooth missions. The reward table for these missions has the costume unlocks.
4. Talk to Ganymede again and he'll tell you to talk to DJ Zero. DJ Zero will then attune you to Valentine Tips.

my main who already had run both arcs from previous years also never got snaptooth mishs

I believe that you can get an intro to snaptooth by doing either the Sela Vermont or Zev Scalamore missions.
