However, you can't think about it that way. Just imagine the rush of anticipation you will experience each and every time you purchase a pack and open it. The joy you will experience on those rare occasions that you actually get something that you want/need!

Points will do fine. So far I think I've purchased 8 packs, so 640 points. Oddly enough, I'm missing the Very Rare Back Detail, and ALL of the "Uncommons". The problem is each pack only has one Uncommon, and I keep getting the non-costume rewards...

Since there has been surprisingly little fanfare about the release of the super packs yet, what is the deal with them?
Last I heard the costume pieces don't drop in-game but ATOs do. What else is included in the packs and do they drop in-game?

We're up to 4,240 points, not including the discounts for buying 12 packs.

The costume set can ONLY be purchased via Super Packs.

No idea about what does or doesn't drop in game. These were brought up how long ago and have been modified so many times by now, I don't get the big deal.
And "soon" some of the stuff can be bought in game with merits?

I found out from MP on chat that I already had all the pieces. I was searching for a "jacket" because I couldn't see it under jackets, but apparently it was under ROBES the WHOLE TIME!!!111
I bought 21 more packs than I needed to... and I didn't get the Wolf.

It took me 14 packs to get all the costume pieces. No wolf though.

Thought it doesn't appear to be specified (with the willy nilly glancing I've done), these are all pretty much character-based rewards? I'm mainly looking at the costume pieces.

The costume is account based, everything else is character based.

Think I got all the pieces in about five packs when I tested it on beta. Think I'd only want the robe option, anyway. Sorry about the spending spree, MG.

I got 9 Catalysts out of it, so my Stalker main is rocking a Superior Stalker ATO set.
Still, though... way too much god damn money.

Think I got 6 for the hell of it with leftover points. Can't say I'm hooked on them; I think I got a costume piece in each one and I don't even care about them. Got a whopping 1 ATO and 1 catalyst, with the catalyst being more desired, but I can wait for I22. Wound up buying a set for a Troller and various other ones for the ATs I would actively use them on, but like Purples and HOs, I don't see myself going out of my way for them.
Haven't collected the inspirations to see if you can sell them on the market? I have zero interest in them. And I got that damn Wolf pet and I would LOVE to sell that thing
Guess I'll go back to saving points for the next powerset and that damn out-of-reach-horribly-overpriced-will-never-be-put-on-sale enhancement storage

i got 27 packs or so and i got all the costume pieces within like 15 packs, no wolf though but i dont care if i get that one
i got a bunch of various ATOs that i spent most of yesterday moving around to see where i could fit them in, i prolly wont bulk buy them anymore ill just use my stipend on them since i usually buy points for whenever i want to get something like powerset or costume pack
