hes very particular way of spawning, you basically have to kill 100 nerva daemons, and then he will spawn at dusk once 100 daemons have been killed, another caveat is that the demons have to be on thorn isle
basically its just kill nerva daemons till he spawns, sometimes it requires a bit of patience though -

ive never really had a favorite lol, i just train with whoever im in the zone with lol (i prolly developed this playing redside so much, and all the arbiters are essentially the same lol)

the only god mode type power that i hate on mobs is MoG, i can fully understand the crashless stuff, but even with unstop we can still at least hit, debuff, and dmg them during their god mode
elude isnt too bad if you get tons of def debuffs on them, but almost every enemy i seen with elude its never a really strong version, but the only god mode power i absolutely hate is MoG because you cant even hit the baddies to do much of anything
also, since PPs and valkyrie use the old version of MoG, they inflict a large amount of self dmg, thus reducing rewards for the kill after they hit their god mode
IMO, i think MoG is the only "god mode" type power which needs to be looked at because it overpoweres the baddy using it by allowing them to hardly get hit and take almost 0 dmg for the duration (PPs usually are a little weaker in terms of the numbers for MoG and thus can usually be killed before it wears out, but valkyries usually lasts the entire 180 sec because she has higher numbers on the MoG and a TON more hp)
also as mentioned the baddies that use unstop usually do have a -end and stun crash (ive spent plenty of time watching the longbow wardens with it) -
could always just ask for icon/tailer in sg/vg base, since we already get a tp to get there from anywhere lol

AE being dead is more of a preception issue, and part of reason why it looks dead is because its littered with prolly hundreds of thousands of invalidated arcs that nobody has cared to remove and the devs havent purged invalid arcs
if all of the invalid arcs were outright removed then it would be easier to see what arcs were around
if you want a fun and challenging story arc to play, try the arc listed in my sig (and if you want can submit feedback) -
Quote:at 9:15 pm i was still in the middle of a faathim tf, so i wasnt exactly paying attention to the forums, but this does make sense (btw i do look at dev digest every couple of hours when im not in a tf or busy doing something)http://boards.cityofheroes.com/showt...23#post3178723
Which means Shamster was right, the biggest downside is having to respec dozens of characters. fun time!
am I the only person who reads dev digest? I open it every time I open Vic forums.. -
i think once you delete a toon the action is final, thats why they have you confirm you want to delete it by typing in the name
-
the only thing im wondering about is how they are gonna do the change, jsut moving them into inherents will leave lvl 50s with 3 empty powers, or will we have to respec to get out of the fitness pool we have now?

i know in a bunch of the loyalist arcs there were mishs to take someone out and as a stalker i 1 shotted them, if they were needing to talk to me when they were injured, even if i 1 shotted them they would stand back up and fall over again (as blue borderedand around 25-50% of their hp left) so i could still talk to them.
i believe this is supposed to be whats happening in this mish but is not working properly. -
Quote:i dont care for the squishiness of a blaster but i hate the dmg of a tank, so therefor i play a brute lolI like to think of Tanking like the sheep dog of the MMO world. We herd and we make sure all the nice dumb sheep line up for the slaughter. Also it takes alot of skill to boot and not alot of people as said above can handle not doing damage but you know what, I hate being a squishy blaster so theres the trade off.

i dont mind kheldians too much, but i do absolutely hate they have to deal with voids
i love the VEATs though they are so awesome -
i cant play a blaster, i cuold do a blaster if they actually made the secondary sets, like good, but the secondaries do little to nothing to help survival so the last 4 attempted blasters i had ended up being deleted
i also dont really care for scrappers and tanks, because tank dmg is crud, and scrapper are too weak defensively for my tastes
dont care for defenders either cause i feel corrupters do about same job with MUCH higher dmg -

Personally, I think NCSoft could make a killing. The key would be making many of the things we take for granted ala carte. And giving subscriptions perks that make people want to upgrade.
from experience with other games, that are free2play but get perks with subscriptions, games which have free 2 play, but had lots of limitations unless you were subscribed -
i believe 1 is true, that they did ad the new sets into AE (havent checked but i know definitly demons and DP are there, so most likely kin melee and elec control are there too)
the 2nd and 3rrd things, i dont think we can do those yet
the closest thing to the 2nd question is listing 2 bosses as optional and then after one is killed make them reappear as a required objective
the answer to your 3rd question as of now is flat "not yet" -
ive never had a respec recipe drop for me since they came out lol. but i havent really needed one due to the 4 respecs i get from vet rewards on each toon and if i need moer i just run respec trials lol

from the new maria nightstar in the arc and the nightstar and seige stand-alone mishs do not count them for a badge, theres another thread about this in which posi and black scorpion are looking into whats causing the issue
-
its a decent set, however, the set is VERY toggle heavy (i think 8 of the 9 powers are toggles), so will have to get your end under check or you will burn end
other than that its a great set with a lot of flexibility and mitigation as well as the heal -
you can have up to 3 active tips, since you can have up to 7 active mishs at once, you just cant have more than 3 tips total

as much as i would like to enjoy a reward increase for playing with newbie players, i would have to agree with umbral on this matter
applying this would be another AE apocalypse basically, but instead of it spitting out newbies with 50s who dont know how to leave atlas, it would spit out newbie players who dont know why they were invited tothe team and then kicked for helping out and the confused and/or frustrated newbies may want to quit the game cause they met up with the 65% playerbase looking for higher rewards (the other 35% of the playerbase would be all the people who would be willing to help out regardless) (disclaimer, the values stated are pure hypothesis and not literal facts)
i do understand that you are trying to help out the newbies get to know this game better, but this course of action is the wrong one
the best options as umbral mentioned of answering questions, escorting them to a place they were looking for, giving them a few mil since inf isnt all that hard to come by
if you are interested in doing something to help newbies, you can join the mentor project, which is to help assist new players learn where things are and how things work -

I agree, Mr_Frost.
Stun Rifle: Your standard issue Stun Rifle can fire a cluster of rubber pellets at high velocity. These do minor damage and have a small chance to stun the target. (Ranged, ST, Damage: Minor, Recharge: Fast)
Tier 1 Pets: Police Officers
You radio in up to three Police Officers to your location. These Officers are equipped to handle basic situations, armed with pistols and billy clubs.
Pistols (basic one-shot pistol clone)
Billy Club (basic melee clone)
Takedown Slug: Your Stun Rifle can fire a heavy rubber slug at your enemies, occasionally knocking them off their feet. (Ranged, ST, Damage: Moderate, Recharge: Moderate)
Riot Equipment: You upgrade your squad with gear fit for Riot situations.
Adds:
Police Officers: Flashbang, Adrena-Pack (Minor self heal) Quick Shots (Three shots from pistol, moderate 3-tick DoT)
SWAT Officers: Riot Shield (+Defense to Self, +Minor Defense to team/MM), Empty Clip (Fires 9 rounds from pistol, high DoT)
Containment Officer: Rifle Butt (Heavy Damage), Buckshot
Sapper Grenade: Your Stun Rifle can fire a high-capacity electric canister, or as the boys at the precinct call it, a Sapper Grenade. (Moderate DoT, Energy, Slow Recharge, Targeted AoE)
Tier 2 Pets: SWAT Officers
You radio in up to two SWAT officers to your location. These heavily armed specialists are ready for anything, and have specialized armaments.
Quick Shots
Pistols
Lethal Force: You authorize one of your officers to use Lethal Force to take down your suspect. (Single henchman buff, long recharge)
Effects: +Dam, +Acc, +Rec, +Reg, +Rech
Tier 3 Pet: Containment Officer
You radio in one Containment Officer. This officer is an expert in the field of apprehension, rigorously trained in heavy arms, and equipped with the best equipment money can buy.
Heavy Burst
Takedown Slug
State of Emergency Upgrade: You declare a State of Emergency, and equip your squad to handle anything that comes their way.
Adds:
Police Officers: Auto Pistol (Cone, Moderate DoT), Sapper Grenade (Energy DoT, targeted AoE)
SWAT Officers: Heavy Auto Pistol (Cone, High DoT), Riot Shield Bash (Melee Cone, High Damage)
Containment Officer: Full Auto, Satchel Charge (Targeted AoE, High Damage), Flamethrower
Thoughts?
- pets cannot get +rech
- this seems very similar to serum from merc set and i honestly would prolly skip it

the gulch in the hollow or run a cavern trial (lots in there)
usually a team of 3 or more in the gulch you will find them every other mob just about -
limiting ambushs is to prevent heavy farming stuff
the limit per map is 6 ambushs regardless if they are attached to multiple objects or bosses
so 1 object with 3 ambushs (at intervals you mentioned) can only be repeated 1 more time until ambushs are all used up -
-
your prolly off in your info because in order for a vigilante to join a red side team they have to be in the rogue isles, vice versa goes for the rogues
