  1. Also affects alternitive animations, if you have the other animations selected for SS they will not work when the shield is out, but if you put it down you get the othr animations back... just something to add to the bug
  2. yea iv been wundering what happend to that, was always good for a laugh or two.

    Hope they find a way to make it work on this forum the City Scoop was a fun thing I miss.

    You should go take a look at the costume request thread this is in it like a billion times but as many have said it comes down to a tech issue.

    Good News is like other tech issues power customizing is an example this may change in this era of the game, the Dev's of today have allot more power to work on things in game then they used to more man power more money exc, exc, so i would not be serprized if the issue is not fixed at some point soon(tm)
  4. As every one has said it will NEVER happen, this game is not WoW thast why we like it. Here the concept is not so much get to max lvl but enjoy the trip (something the AE baby's need to learn) Once your their the game gose sideways not up you have lots to do at 50 i still roll my first now and then just to poke tf's and a few random monsters but mostly the iea was roll another toon there are so many combinations that no one i mean that no one can say they have done it all not even the guys from back in beta some of us just cant roll X toon not fun others love X toon thats the thing about CoX its built around alting WoW was not.

    Statesman is actuly not Super Strength he is Energy Melee I know that seems odd but iv been hit by him a few times and them red pom poms are hard to miss :P

    Other then that i cant realy think of much else id swap out but in truth SS would likely be more useful for states since Em got nerf pwned :P GL with your project.

    I'm feeling too lazy to dig up the post, but either BABs or Castle said that this bug was tricky because it couldn't be reproduced in-house with the build they were testing with. Somehow, something in this one particular build caused the bug to trigger, and stopped triggering when they updated their internal builds. So you have a bug that can't be reproduced by QA or programmers, and which is build-specific. Maybe, just maybe, that's why it took them some time to get it sorted out?

    It was BAB who said it, the bug was odd because it was not happining on there Dev Server but did happen on live.

    Im still amazed how fast they fixed it BAB said it was a High Priorty but Non Critical bug i was not expecting it to get fixed for a week or so

    This 100% fact. the issue is not that the powers are bad or the numbers are bad its the foes haev OMG endurance no matter what they are run a few AE mish's and see what a custm criter has for Endurance thast the problem

  10. Better survivability
    -Unlikely as bg mode reduced incoming dmg by transferring it to your pets this would only raise the amount of h you have its exactly the same, if not less effective.

    More mobility
    -Most of your dmg is coming from the pets as well so your not more mobil you still need to drag them pets around.

    Maybe increase intrest in the AT for PvP because of them not having to worry about being in BG mode
    -How so? you still have to spawn equip and move in a large easily seen mob. or go with out pets and well do so little dmg that most other pvp builds will laugh as you debuff them and have no means of killing them. I just don't get it at all take the pet away from the master mind and you get a defender with 3 attack powers....did i miss a memo


    Could act more the roll of a tank/taunter
    -Already pointed out that high hp (cough blaster) dose not = high serviceability

    Less point of having to take pets for a debuffer/buffer build
    -MM need pet to kill or mm kill nothing with out team help

    Would sorta be steping on brutes toes a bit being able to tank better.
    -Brutes are not tankers MM can already when built right out tank them as mm was ment to be the red side tank.

    um... thats all i can think of atm.. but im sure there would be more..

  11. I believe we don't have them do to Ai code involved in them, as such linking two objectives together to actually be one objective my be (ATM) beyond the scope of the interface we have.

    I would also love to see maps that are supposed to have destructible doors that block passage ways have them enable or disable option.

    Aiding in stuff to the AE will likely happen as time passes it is in no way at its end sate (despite the doom saying by some) it is still the best in game system iv seen in any mmo that lets you make what you want (mostly)

    We are still limited to what can be coded into the game easily just because the devs can right a mish that can have captives interact with objects dose not mean they can make a Ai do this every time on cue when told to by the AE system.

    Thats likely were the hang up is programing that one AI to do it easy far easer then making a plug and play Ai that can be drooped in to any captive. Time will tell however im sure we will see more aided to the AE over time.

    It being a bug is the most likely scenario, However I think it may be a bug one the Male and Huge side of the spectrum they may not be supposed to have all the cap patterns available.

    One way or the other this should be bugged in game and on the issues and bug area of the forums since we cant actually give a definitive answer .

  14. iv also seen this on the midnighter map it can spawn the object/blinki in an area of the map that is locked to the player yet the map says all the rooms are there. i think it says there are 5 floors yet you can only get to 2.....

  18. The defendable object issue iv seen before theres nothing you can do about that one just yet (bug list) the foes for some reson almost never seem to target the thing....

    The Escort is a AI limit issue the AI wil only fight as long as your "Escorting" it once your dead it switches to wait mode and just stands there come hell or high watter... iv tried seting them on agreesive and they still do that so its defintly just the AI saying no hero/villan leader /wait...sad but true the computer is stupid lol

    The Committee is now seeking new members, the group was until just recently a solo sg created for easy movement to zones that were not reachable by portal or Pd, as I grew tiered of inactive groups my other alts were in I moved almost all into this group, now that it’s well founded im opening it up to the city. Below is the group concept.

  24. i would just like to add /e scream for trying to find anything that you have to hunt in this zone now. its sucha mess with so many villan groups everywere...why are skulls and hellions even in the hollows in such numbers this area was saposed to be a gang war between outcast and trolls now its a melting pot of ever foe that could be tossed in.......

    Restrictions on trial accounts entering SGs make even less sense to me. The only two reasons I can think of why the devs would do that have already been mentioned in this forum: a) the padding for the prestige grant, and b) some SGs having their bins raided by RMTers (or other nefarious delinquents). As to the first, that should only be an issue if the devs are planing another prestige grant, and if they are, this is no reason to add such restrictions, as the same people hell-bent on restricting your access to cash would likely not also be willing to throw it at you.

    Last but not least, the chat restrictions do make some sense, yes. CoH, and to a lesser extent CoV, are, however, inherently team based games. There are ways to solo, and to solo well, but we should all know that no noob knows them and can only stumble into them by blind luck (kinda like I did... &gt;.&gt. Allowing trial players to chat in broadcast is, I think, not unreasonable, but I note it's not on the list. I have played for the past year on Triumph, Infinity, Pinnacle, and Victory, and have yet to see an RMT ad anywhere but my inbox and in tells. Allowing trial accounts access to most of the other channels paying players have access to should increase their ability to effectively team without seriously increasing RMT spam. That said, they'd probably move there, given the other restrictions, so...

    I really think that the trail account changes went a bit too far, yes RMT is a pain in the ars but were killing trail account this game NEEDS them new people.

    No game no mater how devoted the fan base maybe can survive with out attracting new players...

    I got a good example for you lets say your a DM/DA scrapper your hp is like the existing fan base all good and happy. Your end bar is like your new players, trail accounts are like stamina with out them your blue bar drops quickly and your hp slowly starts to fall with no new players we may stagnate the worst thing that can happen to an MMOG.

    Trail members Need broadcast to find Pugs there not going to be able to do much of anything with only local and team, They Need to be able to have fun in the game level 13 is not fun its hardly a test drive, give them to level 20 and that’s not even half way up for love of all that is good. and if your going to give them level 20 plz plz plz give them at least 100k inf so they can buy DO's/SO's

    I don’t like RMTers, there spamming drives me nuts but id gladly put up with clicking my new shiny spam button a billon times if this game would last many more years and did not dry up because no one new started playing. We can’t go killing off the "new fan base" with out them we sink and all that has been done here for the last 4 years becomes moot. We have a great Development team now, things are really turning around as of late let the new guys see that. Don’t lock them off in the hollows or kings row and call it a day! PLZ
