I would go for Necro,
as you mention, not only do they benefit from PBAoE heals, they also beenfit from the melee loving nature of the toggle debuff, and the huged up nature of Farsight too.
So since most pets get their own self heals to, it would seem a potent combo. -

About the only thing wrong with Time Manipulation is its called a manipulation set but I can't make a blaster with it. I'm not generally in favor of powerset respec, but I'd pay real money to swap my En/En's secondary for Time Manipulation. I would miss total focus, but I would write it a really nice goodbye letter.
I'll whip out a power analyser thing tonight to test it on some baddies, but anyway, from playing Time solo and grouped for TFs up to 30 now, (i level so slowly
) as well as messing around with various versions on Beta, I have to agree with the majority of people, this set is just right at falling in line with the top tier sets at best, and possibly coming off a bit short.
Ultimately I'm waiting to go up against the big AVs, in ITF and STF etc etc to see how useful -rech is as a gimmick. -

I've always fancied more choice with alot of my powersets, mutually excluse thematic routes for the same thing.
The trouble is, Assault rifle provides a clear and useful argument, and you articulated it perfectly. Finding a similar argument for Fire Control (maybe a version thats damage lite, control heavy) is there, but you have to grasp at it.
Finding the same argument for Broadsword or Sonic Blast is tougher.
Ands you know people would hate on it if every set except their fav got new stoof. -

Hey we recognise that osme of you think this is overpriced, like everything, the direction we go with these is fluid, we want to give everyone prices they are willing to pay with in reason, and will see how well this sells when reviewing our prices...
That being said, this is the price we want to charge, so we will attempt to influence you all into buying it by saying " GET IT NAO BEFORE IT IS TOO LATE OR YOU WILL SUCK"
So yeah, I agree with Carni on this one, jerk marketing at it's best, you do realise (re)mentioning that the power will be unavailable atleast for some time (it was made clear in the first post) kind of ruins any statistical viability your metric will have on whos willing to pay what.
I mean, why not put beam rifle up and say, "Oh it costs $50 worth of points, and you have a week from activating your account to buy it or you can never get it again".... wow I can do Marketing too! -

They get a coolish fur loinclothy/kilty/shorts thing
This categories under tights for some inexplicably bizare reason, meaning you can only have bare legs with it, when theres a perfectly usable kilts section that would allow that, plus other stuff underneath.... -

While the precedent is there, its slightly different, those were fully free games with coin purhcases funding them.
The Game time cards provide a non cc method of maintainging a subscription, which is still a viable use for this game, so they may not do it.

so a nice early patch that gets the servers back up and running for NA players some time before most are clocking off for work, while taking a great deal of time up in the day, does so at a time that is relatively convenient, for NA players, your regular evening play session comes and goes uninterupted (save for the inevitable oops it went wrong down time)
The same patch, at the same time for myself in England, or my fellow Europeans begins at a convenient time for us, but ends well into the evening, when most people will be wrapping up for the night.
So while you can count on your hand the number of times a planned downtime has occured and taken up a 'whole day', then I'm afraid I need both hands and my feet, and possibly an abacus to count out the 'whole days' i've not been able to play from planned downtime.
So I can definately see why people on my side of the pond are upset, but, I'm pretty stoic about this sort of thing, it needs to be done, and it needs to be mostly done in office ours for the Devs, so it requires me to loose more of my effective game time than NA users.
In short, i've got no problem with this and have stuff to do anyway (but if you can give it to us sooner rather than later, I have some money for you)

I needed the bolus of rewards points to get T9 VIP straight away, and was more than happy to drop that amount of money on sub time, less happy than just a straight up points purchase which I may have to do now.
Zwilly, is this a technical limitation people will keep trying to overcome, or is it impossible, and the effort is spent? -
Storm will allow for keeping enemies tightly packed with both a -speed toggle power and hurricane.
Beam/Storm is definately on my to-do list. -

I knew someone was going to make that argument. Incarnate access is a perk, yes - it's a core part of the game and SHOULD be a perk for VIPs only. The same is true about First Ward because all of Praetoria is VIP only (for now), so First Ward isn't going to be any different.
As for character slots, that is a non argument because it goes right back to value. If you take the amount of slots I can have open right now should I go to Premium Free, I can have every single one of my 50s unlocked AND have room to spare. And they're purchasable with points, so if I wanted more, I could buy more. Just because I have 160 slots doesn't mean it is a value unless I'm using a majority of those 160 slots.
None of this negates the fact that we're only getting a fraction of the points a freemium spending the same amount gets and then being told we have to pay out of that allotment, or pay extra, for what should be core additions to the game. One extra token per year doesn't cut it. Unfettered access to character slots we may or may not use doesn't cut it.
Do what I did: Sit down and make a bullet point list of everything VIPs get versus everything Premium Free and Standard Free gets, then compare the costs given various situations. You'll find out that VIPs, despite what looks like great "benefits" continually get the shorter end of the stick when it comes to overall value, not just in terms of points allotted vs. points paid, unless you're in the 1 or 2% who have the highest possible veteran rewards and are overloaded with characters. -
You don't need to respec, atleast not yet, keep going till you can atleast get some SOs in there and then think about it.
O2 boost, until you get hurricane and sleet is all you have to keep your pets going, so a few slots there is good. otherwise throw the rest into demons pets and keep only the natural slot on the upgrade power and on Gale.
You can't really go that wrong with lower level slot placement, especially if you are willing to respec later. -

I would probably do number 5, and I probably wouldnt trust my other half to keep my identity secret, he'd tell his mum and she would tell everyone and his sister would sell me out for money, so it would be a big secret.
Now how I would keep it a secret would be a bit of a doozy, living in a 2 bed flat near town is hardly Wayne manor and batcave worthy, theres a skylight right outside my door, but it would be too risky, so I would probably conduct so low-key Robin Hooding from generally bad people.
and try to fob it off as a lottery win or something to upgrade my abode to something easier to keep a secret in.
Then, especially since the thing only works for me, I would maybe approach a gov agency to try and get directed in helping, or if not, I would pobably take the less than honorable approach, and be judge jury and executioner, nott so much on the low key guys, but (and these really depends on how far you can feasibly get there and back in the thing, depending on what it can augment and waht powers it has?) the big guys.
How much easier would this Libyan revolution have been had someone in a big powersuit turned up a kicked Gadaffi another one? -

It comes down to the trade off of having acess to running taskforces and missions with whoever you want on both sides, and locking yourself into 1 side for a better reward.
I usually choose the reward, but if I could do both, then of course I would. -
If you go into the detailed information of all the attacks, it will tell you how much damage extra it does.
It looks like it was programed so that all the relevant melee powers had a "if player has Fiery Embrace then..." rather than the power itself telling each attack what damage to add. -
How far along the Veteran Rewards are you?
if you are further than youre forum join date implies, it may be more cost effective to wait for Freedom and pick it up as a tier reward. -
