STAFF FIGHTING!!!!!!!
**Attempts to post random meme of 'take my money gif' but passes out** -
Now I want a boomerang blast set...
As well as this MM primary! -
I encountered an odd bug with DfB Monday night. Started a team up on Pinnacle. Got 6 of us together, all lvls under 10. Then went to start the trial and I couldn't even select Death From Below. It just wouldn't let me click it at all.
Joining 1st available, would highlight the DfB button but then we'd just stand there forever without the trial starting.
Without the star, others could select the trial but are then given the message that they have to be leader. Passing the star to them results in them not being able to select it.
We ended up dropping team and reforming, still couldn't get the trial selected but after waiting in Q for 1st avail for 15+ minutes while asking in help/etc. the trial finally started...
Everyone was under level 20 so nobody was a Rogue. -
I'm really on the fence over the little guy.
I really want to buy it, I can justify the higher price this once, as it had to be a bit trickier to create from scratch.
So I don't mind paying a little more than normal to reward that increased work.
I'd expect future pets that use the 4-leg rig should be priced a bit lower though, as the rig is already created and just needs to be reskinned/animated.
That is my catch22. I want to buy it for the reasons stated above, but fear that if I do, instead of sending the message that I want I'll instead be sending the message that this price is acceptable for all future pets of this nature. I'm not willing to take that risk, therefor I have to pass sadly, for now. -
I've heard rumors of a Medieval armor set in the works. Perhaps this is just a leak form it and that would mean it'll be a little longer than tomorrow most likely.
Sadly, my Templar Knight has made it this long using the mesh pattern as Chainmail but could really use the real thing! -
Talsor Tech here, reporting in.
Really looking forward to meeting some great players and creating some unique experiences! Now if you'll excuse me, I just thought of a way to boost the flux accelerant on my...

Dev's hate heroes.

Makes me want to roll up a toon called The Architect dressed in a white business suit and have him sitting in the middle of the room. It'd be worth the hours long wait just to say.
"Hello, $playername."
As soon as anyone found the place. -
Was gonna say Jim Carrey for Truman Show. Was his 1st real chance to show an emotional side, with comedy as a backup just in case.

Please! Please! Please! Please! Please! Please!!!!!!!
I'll take one, thank you!

Are they ready yet??!? -
First Class was much better than I expected. Really left me wanting more, more exploration of the relationship with Charles and Erik, more with the guilt of the gunshot. More tracking down mutants. Just more all around!

I know someone that had never played this game before Freedom. Only intended to remain a F2P tier. Got so hooked his 1st week playing he spent $30 on tokens.
2 weeks later, I notice he hasn't levelled at all...
He's now ViP and has spent 99% of his time, nearly 14 hours a day, sitting in our little base getting it 'just right'.
I must say, he's a natural at design and has really impressed me with his work so far, but since I've never messed with it myself, I am shocked just how expensive getting power and control is proving to be.
I can attest to the fact that, if the Dev's add Base stuff to the market, there is a customer base. I'd also be interested in buying my own, premade ready to go, batcave! -
Another problem, explicit to the new players, is that it sets up the expectation (when coupled with the GM tutorial) that the game has you fighting larger than life things from the start.
Then they get out into the actual world and start taking on regular ol humans. I can see the confusion on their part. Having such an Epic opening and then going into a more mundane diet of regular bosses without the staging of a trial...
I have no solution though. -
Secret little easter egg hidden by the Dev's or accidental early release?

I got caught on my lie....
A week or so back, a RL friend I'd talked into joining had started getting addicted to the DfB. Doing nothing but DfB from 1-31 and the occasional teaming with my duo.
Got to the point, anytime we'd be running tips or radios' etc, half way through the mission he'd start whinning that we should run DfB for the better xp.
I ended up lying to him, that the rewards in fact decrease with higher levels...
So he got off the gravy train before real addiction set in. Keeping him from getting burned out. He recently ran it again and realized he was still getting good XP and called me on it.
I explained to him that he never would've branched out and learned his other powers and tactics etc, about outlevelling all the cool content (took him to Croatoa to show him what he'd skipped) and he ended up thanking me for freeing him from the rush rush mentality.
I think, aside from diminishing returns, there needs to be more communication that the game isn't just Q and re-Q. -
I always figured Beyond was the natural next move for Hollywood once Nolan finishes his take. Not wanting to 're-invent' Nolan's batman just yet, so in steps Terry 20 years or so down the line.

Here's a nifty little website that I was just alerted to, perfect for times like this.
Down for everyone or just me -
Seeing my favorite game being advertised like crazy on the net.
1st time I actually enjoy the ads on Kongregate. -
The suit has those lines in it visible only in certain situations, most notably when the suit 'locks-in' to the Batmobile. Also very briefly when activating stealth mode. All other times the lines appear black giving the suit a cleaner look.
The lines are continuously lit underneath the overlay armor however, as evidenced by it showing through when he takes damage as well as when the suit is being controlled by the ghost in the machine.
