I read the title and thought Marvel isn't the only ones borrowing. New Catwoman 1-3 all have Skulls in it.

If they did a Star Trek parody on Big Bang Theory from next generation where Sheldon play as Barkley, where he had transporter phobia. I told this to a friend who is a huge fan of the show and she just imagined it and was already laughing her head off at the thought of it.

I like the outfits,but the bodies just don't fit it. Too heroic and not rugged old west feel to them.

Well last to the party again. I like to echo what many felt in this thread, I am just not feeling this movie. Better as a rental than a theater trip.

Hopefully when they move on, we will finally see the Coming Storm storyline and what the Shavian really look like and get an idea of what they are wanting to attack earth for.

Am I alone in thinking just would have preferred to have the costumes rather than the be able to transform into them?

One would think. But if you noticed The Avengers, Fantastic 4, and other major players in the Marvel U. are often more dangerous than mutants and their stories show it yet they are loved and respected. But to my original rant is that Marvel just seems not to have a clear direction with it's stories. It comes down to "how can we mess with their lives this week"?

The reason someone told me is that mutants are hated for two reasons, one: Because of evolution. Like Neanderthals, humans fear being replaced by someone better( will not get to the religion theme Marvel likes to use here on these forums) and two: Jealousy, nuff said.

Okay I am so far caught up in this current story line of Fear Itself and it has left me more questions than answers, mainly as to where the heck are they going with this current formula. I could forgive previous stories like Secret Invasion through Siege and see where they were going, but this current one has me asking what are they doing? I get they want realistic books but are they trying go back and to recreate a "Days of future's past"? Example( SPOILERS)) The chosen one Attuma attacks Canada killing by estimations thousands, Chosen Grey Gargoyle fighting Iron Man, Tony thinks that the population of Paris has been decimated. This kind of thing if your indeed going for realism will ultimately end like in the Watchmen where the president will outlaw vigilantes and start clamping down on organizations that are threats to National Security like AIM, Doctor Doom's country, Hydra, vampires, all of them.


What is going on Marvel? Can they stop with the killing of civilians for one second? By my estimation they killed more people than Ultimate's Magneto. I mean the mutant population is staying to themselves these days and not doing anything and not doing half of what the regular books are doing and still the Earth fears mutants more than the Hammer possessed people? Something is awfully screwie around here. Mutants fight for survival or reaction to humans hunting them, while others who think their gods want to massacre the planet.
Magneto doesn't seem like a bad guy nowadays. I just feel they need to pick a direction story that will not involve killing a whole city.

This brings up something from a professor, friends, or whatever conversation that started this up. I learned when dealing with time travel or knowing what happens in the future most times individuals who try to prevent said "events" most times end up creating the very future they are attempting to prevent, IE kill, warn or what have you of said person. Most time travelers only see the aftermath and what lead into it and say it was the end all be all and not really see the one action and what caused it from the start.

God of War comes to mind in this regard, I finally played every game and got the idea behind it, those who played it know where I am going with this. Can you imagine if Zeus actually left Kratos alone and ignored the Oracle, imagine what the world would be like in the GoW universe had he just watched and staying away. But by interfering and falling into his fears Zeus doomed himself and the gods by creating the future he tried so hard to avoid by his own actions by being told what was going to happen.

Too your event as to the "What if": I would hope they would look back further and see what that one event that turned me into a villain that either killed the world or enslaved it they probably see it was them that did it.

I had an idea, how hard would it be to have characters have the option to look heroic but have just normal standing with legs together when AFK? I was thinking not everyone need to flex muscles all the time.
