Can I expand a little on this questioning here?

If I started as a villain and move to rogue, I can still enter my base through any portal, like say, through the base portal outside the tram in Talos.

If I move from Rogue to hero, can I not enter that base at all? Or can I go in and just not use base storage and base teleporters (to the rogue isles)? Can I still use my personal storage and the base invention table?

I am assuming when you switch from rogue to hero, and then you use the O-portal, it takes you to the heroside ouroborus correct? I mean, yeah it would have to or else you would be stuck there.

If I move from rogue to hero, and I am the villain base leader, do I get automatically demoted to peon? Or am I kicked from the VG group altogether? What exactly happens? If I go from hero to vigilante, do I get base rights back? Including leadership rank?

I would assume for Rad blast the powers were changed to make them identical to the other primaries tier ones and twos so they would be identically effective for defiance. (You know when you get stunned, slept or held, you can still fire off tier 1 and 2 powers from the primary and tier one of the secondary?)

As a dark armor stalker, there is pretty much never a time when I think Im not contributing to the team with Opressive Gloom running. Sure with playing Dark melee I wish I had more AoE damage but I live with it. My recharge is good, I always have an attack ready to fire before I can even target my next victim. In fact thats probably the biggest headache of an ST based melee character. You dont have PBAoEs or attacks that dont require a target so you have to tab to next closest target all the time to be able to fire off an attack.

But Im always contributing to the team, even just standing there being gloomy.

I have Moonbeam (and have used it the past 4 years, or so) on my Dark/Dark/Soul stalker. It is 5 slotted with 3 Sting of the Manticore and 2 Devastations for a +24% Regen and, if I recall correctly, a boost to max health.

I can almost one shot an orange lieut from over 150 ft away.(Using BU, and striking from Hide). If you dont see that as having any uses, then don't take the power.

IMO, it is and always was an awesome power.

Another thing I like about it is when you have a runner, you Soul storm him then activate Moonbeam, by the time it fires you're hidden again, so you get the crit.

EDIT: I have to clarify my previous statement. I can do this because I use the SotM chance for +Toxic damage proc.

My main scrapper is MA/SR. I placed 6 slotted Gaussians into Focus Chi (as part of my capped defensive strategy) and never even considered Focused Acc.

I had the power for awhile on my Fire/Mace/Pyre tank, but once I started acruing +acc set bonuses, I found I never needed to run the power, so I dropped it.

I really think the power needs looked at before I'd ever consider it again. Its effectiveness is outdated. It became outdated the moment inventions were released. Much like targetting drone from Blaster-Devices, there are ways of making it obsolete very easily.

What if they replaced Time Bomb with an oil slick type power that can be ignited with either Flamethrower or ignite?

We ran this TF I think on Tuesday or Wednesday, and we did have a MM.

We still team wiped once because of all the ambushes.

My issue is the temp power for the stalker. How are you supposed to know to walk into the machine to activate it if you've never done it before? The SF leader was all pissed off at me because I didnt know it.

But seriously, how was I supposed to know this? Is it written anywhere in the dialog?

After the team wipe we reentered, and just obliterated all the ambushes on our way back to the final room and took down Reichmann.

Im sure Im not the only one who just assumed a power was supposed to drop into my tray during the previous mission, and just didnt. How was I suppsed to know that the stalker power is initiated in this way? Why is this SF so much different from the TF version? Who lamebrained idea was this??

IMO, this SF needs redone, before they ever make it the WST again.

Grant Invisibility is also a good one slot power.

You can put a LotG + rech in it.

You can summon and invis your buff pet veteran power and its survival time goes way up.

I see you don't like Gun drone, thats fine. Thats your choice. But youre giving up huge defiance damage bonus by not summoning it.

Also, Ignite, because it is a pet summon, needs its own accuracy enhancement. I 6 slot that puppy and try to slot as much recharge dmage and accuracy as I can Frankenslot into it. It is, quite often, your best tool against Arch-Villains. And if you're going to be doing TF's now to get the Alpha slot goodies, you'll be beating on a lot of them.

Since you have smoke grenade, you need no further stealth to toe bomb, but Im sure you know this already. Dont let other people tell you to waste merits on Celerity +Stealth IOs. You don't need them. If one drops for you, then great. Slot it in sprint, after an end redux. Also, Celeritys on no longer really out of price range to just buy on the market and craft yourself.

Wait. So if we consume the tier one to craft the tier two, then we can slot the tier two, right? The tier one becomes automatically unslotted and disappears? We can then only slot the 2nd tier until we consume it to craft the tier 3. Why would we ever have to craft another tier one? Confused.

The description of both the Kahn and the Cuda TF/SF say it can be completed by a team of 4. Has anyone done it with four?

I think Reichsmann has such a bad reputation, that people ignore the fact is says you need 4, and go with 8, not realizing the thing is designed for 4. With 8 players is Reichmann twice as had to kill as he would be with only 4 players? Meaning are his hitpoints ramped up to double what it would have been if it was started as a 4 player team?

Yes it will still work, but you wont want to keep it because crafting a lvl 50 IO will be 3 and 4 times more powerful.

You can memorize common recipes only by crafting enough of them. I've never found it worthwhile. Only one of my characters focused on getting the crafting badges and accolades. The rest just do not worry about them. It takes 10 level 10 common heal IOs to memorize heals to then be able to craft them from memory. I dont think Ive used 10 level 10 heal IOs in my entire time playing (over 6 years)

Ive played an Energy/Fire blaster to 50

Ive played an Energy/Traps Corruptor to 36, I think.

My mind/rad controller (lvl 46) is kinda rare.

Now working on a Kinetic Melee/ Regen stalker.
I never take the easy path on stalker with defensive sets. My main villain (now a Rogue) is Dark Armor. My stalkers are built to be scrappers first and foremost when finished.

My blasters are built to be burst damage specialists from Stealth, so like a stalker when finished.

Just the way I roll.

Cant you go to your NCSoft Master account details page, and print out as much info as they show, so that when and if you ever get hacked you can use that information to verify you're the account holder?
