Nothing more to see here -
Equally, they'll resist a hold if I took Ice Blast. Disorient is better as it sneaks past acrobatics
That sleep/fulcrum shift thing sounds like fun -

how many blasters/corrupters do you see standing their ground vs a brute?
[/ QUOTE ]
Bad, totally incorrect generalisation.
[/ QUOTE ]
well its just the same as people generalising stalkers saying all we do is run away which is broadcast all the time in pvp. this was my whole point in the 1st place, its ok for people to label stalkers as being cowards and having a go at our tactics apparantly but no other at's retreat do they???
[/ QUOTE ]
Blasters, defenders, corruptors run away less than stalkers do.
How do ya like that for a sweeping generalisation! -
A clicky mez protection is a great asset, since it can't be detoggled. However, if you get feared, you may find clicky mez protection can run out, leaving you very vulnerable.
Hmmm, I'd say entropy shield is the better one, for the repel resistance -
Sounds good to me, pretty much what I was expecting. How many single target attacks do you get, not including the disorient one?

Repel protection is fairly rare and when you have it, you'll be safe from some of the more nasty tricks in the game. Is Entropy Shield a clicky like the SR version?
-
As far as I can tell, the game ignores all _'s you put in your bind: powexecname and powexec_name both work, similarly with bind_load_file and bindloadfile. I'm pretty sure that p_o_w_e_x_e_c_n_a_m_e would also work
I guess that's why Fulcrum_Shift doesn't work.

FF generator is only about 7% def, slotted. Pants eh?
[/ QUOTE ]
Ow.
Maybe I'll take a paper bag instead.

Remember, the mez protection is pure gold for a squishie, so it's not all that bad -
I think I'll be getting Scorpions big stick, the shield will stack with my force fields nicely
-
Time to shoehorn aid self into my build... hmm, it's pretty tight for powers as it is! Perhaps it's time to say buh bye to tp foe. Hmmmmm

There goes the last reason to ever roll a /FF....

You really don't like FF do you?
Some people just don't have a clue -
Happy cake day, cactus dude!

Back on topic, I'd put good infanmy on the MM buff being in the form of faster summoning. -
Bonesmasher is a really fast attack. You must be thinking of Total Focus
-
Area effect immobilse + robot incendiary swarm missiles = super ultra mega quick death!
I am happy, but shame about the apparent lack of variety -
I was gonna say some stuff, but out resident corpulent, red haired, flying baron said exactly what I was gonna say!
So I'll just say, they look nice, frames are set out well and those are some well taken screenies you used -
I'm almost in 2 minds about this.
Personally, when I'm PvPing I'll avoid NPCs like the plague, to the point of breaking off a fight if the opponents get targeted by them. I'll even help kill the NPCs if my opponent starts on them. I think the problem is that in their current numbers they simply interrupt PvP combat, especially in Warburg. As for using them to kill other players, I think that's a pretty cheap tactic and not one I'd ever use, but the devs seem to be saying that PvP zones are no holds barred and I don't really have a problem with that. I'll play the way I consider fair, you do the same. If I find I'm being killed by mobs all the time, I'll try to get you back the same way! Failing that, I'll go do something else, like clear all the debt -

Whirlwind I believe. And that particular bug is being corrected.
[/ QUOTE ]
no, they are thinking about the possibility of changing it, it was not a bug and was by design as backed up by statesman
[/ QUOTE ]
They want to change it so you stay rooted when you use a power, as you do normally but since WW cancels animations I imagine this is where the technical difficulty arises. -
I might not be able to make it as my pooter is deaded
I guess if it's fixed by then I'll turn up, otherwise
-
I'm mulling over a sonic/kin at the moment, sonic blast for the single target disorient (better than a hold I'd say, since it gets past acrobatics) you can grab, but beyond that I don't know nuthin' about it, so what's good to get in this set? I've had a little peek but nothing more than that? What I'm really interested in is the single target damage capability, but any first hand info on the powers would be good.

[ QUOTE ]
[That's if you look at it as a whole. If you look at it power by power, some of the numbers seem a bit odd - especially Punch. Although it was used more than both Brawl and Haymaker, it has a percentage which is about 6% lower than what it should be. Over 190 tests I'd expect it to be more around 2-3% difference, which the other powers are.
[/ QUOTE ]
For 190 tests, anything that lies within +/- 100/sqrt(190) = 7.25% is statistically fine.
So there -
Damn tough mission this one, at least when Baphomet turns up it is. Good luck!

I think you'll be really, really bored soon. I already feel bored when playing my empath and the team isn't taking any damage. Sure I'm running assault & tactics, throwing out cm, fortitude and all the rest but I still feel bored then.

I agree, does look kinda dull and afer reading your other thread, it looks like exactly the kind of build you want to avoid. As FF defenders go, I'm not sure what can be done to make them more interesting. Like you said earlier, back in the good old days when you could 6 slot for damage you made an OK offender but now without some self damage buff power(s) you can't really do that. Assault will help somewhat I suppose. Also, being FF you might be able to get away with using snipe more often that would normally happen. I'd suggest dumping some of the FF and pool powers and take more from your secondary, like snipe and other single target attacks. If this is for mainly PvE energy torrent might be good too. Try to fit assault in too. Must haves from FF would be the bubble buffs and dispersion bubble. Also Force Bubble if you decide to stick with it. If you want to PvP force bolt is a must as it's a toggle dropper. -
Yeah, Ice/Dark is the way forward here. I've got one at about 34 or something like that. You can have 3 single target holds, fear cone (totally awesome!) and something else controllery from the dark set. The area intangiability thing?
The great thing is, you can make it a high damage build too
