i think stalkers are easy prey and in high level pvp they will suffer.Also i think that stalkers hit and run tactics are valid due to their nature and the way they are build.
I have to add this is a really overburnt subject too 
Finally all your stalkers are belong to me (except stupid spines) .
Anyone who says stalkers are cowards needs a team in the pvp zones cause solo wont help them much
And abuse in broadcast channels is simnply dumb so petition is your friend.
Stalkers in sirens are very good at "what" they do.. - they are stalkers none the less, they hunt there prey and go for the all out kill..however..
I think what people dont like is the "nofight" thing with stalkers.. they run in use AS, then just either TP out or fly away.. people then give chase for a few moments before your stealth kicks in again. - now I was in sirens last night. and in fact I never seen so many stalkers in one place.. however the ones that were there was actually fighting nicely, some run some stay.. cant have the cherry and the cake.
Bottom line is some people are impatient. and just want to fight. and people see stalkers as anoying with there hit and run tactics. - oh and 6 stalkers all grouped thats also anoying but damm effective. 
Personally I dont mind stalkers,they add varitey and a I like a bit of chase, makes it more rewarding if you hunt the "stalker" instead of the other way around.
Just to some.. there irritating. thats the way stalkers are designed, so the more people that understand there limits the better it will be for all.
Hell no. Stalkers can take a beating compared to corrs/doms/MM's. Stalkers should help out teammates instead of running cause it brings down your team.
Also support AT's should be better at buffing the stalkers, so they dont need to run. Villains have some seriously good shields and loads of them. Therm Rad can do some really good healing too.
Also stalkers need to be boosted by grant invis to make sure they are always at the stealth cap.
Stalkers running is only ok, when they arent teaming.
Edit: Running is staying away from your team too long. Not standing still..

well i know how i play my stalker and i nornally use AS then follow up with a golden dragon fly. i definitly do not run away all the time. my point is people just jump on the anti stalker bandwagon and decide to have a go cos we play our at's as they are meant to be played which is sneaky.
I agree that maybe people dont like being as'd and the stalker retreats for hide to kick in but you might aswell ask a MM not to use their pets to fight for them if you complain about a stalker's tactics
There's always gonna be some people that will complain about how you play your AT if you kill them.
Best thing that can happen to you is : you go against a character with a power or tactic that will render him powerless...and after a while you say : ok, i'll stop using that power...and the enemy replies : nah, it's one of your powers so i don't see why you shouldn't use it.
So when you meet open minded people it's fun, when you meet people that like complain just because you killed them it's not.

I have nothing against the people who play stalkers but I think the AT kills
the fun in pvp. That can also be because I am to lazy to run after them when

how can the action drop??! Figthing with a stalker and vs a stalker is great fun, when i take a stalker down with my blaster it feels great. also how can you say a/s needs to be nerfed? you are saying you dont like to fight stalkers because you are lazy and are having a pop at them yourself in all fairness.
To be honest this is the same reason i stopped playing my stalker in Sirens. It had gotten to the point where i would stand at the side watching the rest of my team fighting because if i joined in then the heroes would simply hide in their base and complain profusely.
I know there were loads of decent players who enjoyed hunting me down or trying to kill me before i killed them, but nowadays it seems that just the moaners are left.
Play how you wish to play your stalker. There's nothing wrong with them. I think what gets people is that you often die by them without having a chance to 'act' before you're face first licking cement. So when you do survive a AS then you want to get back at them and then when they run and hide kicks in people get easiliy frustrated. That's something they have to deal with. I myself have gotten frustrated by it but hey its the name of the game and they have to learn to deal with it, you're just playing what works best for you.
i love having 1 on 1 scraps with people even if the odds are against me but people just need to accept that stalkers play sneaky and like to use a/s because it is a really good attack.
i am not one to go and complain about people for spamming abuse at stalkers via broadcast but does make me wary to go into pvp. that is a shame because it can be a great laugh.
Turn off hide and they will quit complaining :P
Although a joke, this might defuse a nasty situation and make your night fun again.

My stalker seems to be pretty much retired for the same reasons listed above, he is only broken out if there are some fun/decent/annoying players who just have to be killed

I hope you didn't take anything I said like that - I was having the time of my life. With so many stalkers going round, it was really challenging to stay alive, thus every kill I got felt really so much better. My "hit and run" -comments on broadcast were about the way I was playing at that moment, trying to pick off your stragglers and run to safety (usually getting killed, but sometimes living)
A big group of any sort can feel unfair if the opposition isn't equal in numbers. 8 heroes in a team (with an empath and a couple of bubblers, for example) versus a duo of villains isn't exactly fun either.

i find this interesting because whenever i venture into sirens with my empath and a blaster, i make the blaster invis, give him cm and they then stalk the stalkers. funny how as soon as this happens the stalkers start to complain at being stalked themselves
well there was a fair bit of moaning and complaining being hurled over broadcast about our hit and run tactics. i am not one to report people for that but it does do my head in, i go into pvp to have a laugh and the odd challenge vs a tank or a regen scrapper not have people have a go at stalkers. all people do is moan about stalkers and say that as needs to be nerfed, it is getting a bit boring and is gonna put me off pvp eventually.
As anoying as stalker hit and run tactics are I cant complain about it cause it is a valid tactic, unless its Stalk-obot then its cheating
PS: you also have a mix of lvls of skill in sirens, for the most part its the lower skilled people that complain, unless its Stalk-obot and thats cause he's a n00b

You are having a laugh?? hide gives stalker a def bonus aswell m8 and it is integral to a stalkers tactics of being "sneaky" which is the whole point of being a stalker. tell you what while we are at it let MM's fight with no pets and brutes use no sheilds hey

((I have a fire/dev with TD + Tactics and spend most of my PvP time hunting stalkers down. I tend to run away if I don't get them in 2 shots as well ... I prefer to think of it as "playing to my strengths"))

Because people wont stop by magic, and you would still get nasty situations, like when MrStalker moans that his stealth isnt working and starts swearing.

well i have never seen a stalker complaining about hide not working.Most of us are wise to the fact that people are using work arounds such as tactics to counter hide. The simple fact is people cant complain about stalkers if they havent played as one for a while like i have. you dont see stalkers moaning about people using tactics to see through hide.
There will always be people moaning! And i dont understand why the people take these moanings so serious =/ you shouldnt care about it...

I take a delight in some of the things that I get called over broadcast. I like to play "Stalker bingo" with points awarded for each of the names, on a sliding scale by frequency.
So coward = 1 point, while [censored] [censored] [censored] stalker [censored] [censored] = 10 points.
