Quote:Let me go on a tangent here and say, "Don't". My main/badger character who has everything has all Tier 4's. On all my other characters, it's just not worth it. Getting to tier 4 requires more than twice the components as tier 3 for a marginal improvement.I've been doing ok with my characters and I seem to be able to get my T3s fine when I get lucky and am around when there are iTrials going, but after this point I just can't seem to get to my T4s.
If I ever get all my 50's to tier 3's (less than half done on this), maybe I'll keep at the trials for tier 4 powers. Or maybe not. -

But they have such pretty little buff icons (a feather and a snowflake). I can't imagine they were never intended to be seen.

Quote:The SSA's are released once per month. So no new ones until November.
I can't see them doing powersets per week.
Personally, I don't expect a powerset every month. -
Quote:<snerk>The documentation for what we get when we spend money for this game should be CRYSTAL CLEAR and available at all times.
And how often is that true for software in general? Software documentation typically sucks like a tornado. This is why there is a huge demand for third party books/wikis/etc. -
I've dual boxed it a number of times and it disbanded every time. When I am teamed with other people, not always. One possibility that I'll have to check - it may have to do with having someone in the level range. I currently have no toons in the level range (no one between 4 and 39 at the moment). When I have been teaming with other people, they frequently bring someone who is just high enough to join. -
Actually, that post makes some good points and does demonstrate a degree of technical knowledge. The grammar and punctuation are horrible, though. English may not be his primary language.

Have you tested in on the fire/kin since you noticed the issue on the corr? I was on a fire/kin over the weekend and I'm pretty sure my pets were getting the icons. I didn't have any teammates.

So, you're telling us the badge sucks even worse than we originally thought.
Oh joy. -
Just two strike forces left. Both are 45-50 and both are upcoming Weekly Strike Targets so we'll do them in that order.

Quote:It is. For various reasons, I ran one character through the arc 4 times back to back. First run is 'free'. Second run I took the threads. Third run, the threads were not available so I took the 4x merits. Fourth run, neither threads nor 4x merits were available, so I took regular merits. My experience seems to indicate that the timer is reward specific.
(The character was Vigilante so the Alignment Merit was never available.) -
Nope. It's not that simple. The SSA disbands the team SOMETIMES. I have not yet been able to perceive a pattern to it (if there is one). As for regular task forces, they generally do NOT disband the team.

Win7 puts it somewhere else and I don't know where. If you want a 'brute force' way of finding it, use Explorer file search. Make sure you run a chat log, then search for all files changed today. It's tedious, but it lets you find stuff when you have no idea of the file name.
Or, perhaps someone will happen along who know where the files go under Win7. -
Dunno if that would work, but transfers are $10. Open up the marketplace and see what it would cost you to buy more character unlocks. As a VIP, it's 480 points ($6) for one. Dunno if it's the same for Premium (which is what you are).

Also worth mentioning, you don't have to buy the points all at once. If you buy 400 points today and 800 next month, that adds up to 1200 and earns you a Token.

Quote:Hey! Not all rodents are little balls of fat! Beavers are rodents, too.3. Rodents as basically big balls of fat and internals on top of those tiny legs. The skeleton would need many, many animation bones, including a rounding bone that works similar to the way the 'Physique' slider works on biped models.
Why the hell not? I mean, I've seen dogs in real life wearing winter coats. Also Halloween costumes..... -
