Who will die - when does it reset?
it appears that its 1 week, but the timer is per toon basis and it doesnt physically show you anywhere how much longer on it
Right, so if I did them both before noon Saturday, then the reward tables reset on noon the following Saturday?
Or is it even more complicated by resetting based on when you picked a certain reward?
Example: Midnight Shield (my level 50 tanker), completes part 1 on noon Saturday. I pick the 10 Incarnate threads. One day later (noon Sunday), I complete part 1 again, picking the Astral Merit. (Side note: As I understand it, it wouldn't matter if it was part 1 a second time, or part 2, or November's part 3. They all, IIRC, share the same rewards menu.)
Does the 'loot table' completely reset on the following Saturday? Or does just the Incarnate thread reward reset then, leaving one more day before I can choose the Astral Merit?
you are right that if you did it on noon one sunday then you have to wait till next week
i think the reward table itself is on the timer, not each individual item, but im not 100% sure
The SSAs can be played once a week, regardless of which "episode". Additionally, each individual SSA has a "first time play" bonus reward. The first time you play a SSA, you can play it back-to-back and get two rewards ("first time play" and "weekly reward").
So when WWD1 came out, you could do WWD1 and then WWD1, and then had to wait a week to get another reward.
When WWD2 came out, you could do WWD2 and then either WWD1 or WWD2 if you hadn't done WWD1 in the last seven days.
When WWD3 comes out, you can do WWD3 and then either WWD1, 2 or 3. Let's say WWD3 comes out on Tuesday and you did WWD2 "last Thursday". You could get WWD3's "first time" reward on Tuesday, then would have to wait until this coming Thursday for your "weekly reward".
If you wait until all seven are out, you could do WWD1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7...and then any one of the seven again, for a total of eight rewards in one week. But again, that requires waiting until all seven are out, which means missing out on the weekly bonuses.

We should at least be able to see a timer when we get the reward window, ala the 'Can't auot complete until #/#/##' that we see with mission dropping.

Here's a related question. If you do SSA 1 on blue side, then switch to red side, do you get a first time bonus for doing the red side SSA 1?

My experience seems to indicate that the timer is reward specific. I have not tested that specifically, and so haven't kept accurate enough track to be able to be absolutely certain.

This stuff is getting complicated.
I was going to suggest that new options be added for Null the Gull, but what would be better is if each of the contacts had a line/button/option in their starting text to tell you want your current status is.
So talk to Theoden, he should have an extra option to tell you:
- You are/are not eligible for the bonus "first time" merit on this character.
- You /are eligible for an Alignment Merit reward/will be eligible on Month Date at HH:MM.
Since NPCs are apparently easier to program than UI elements, hopefully this could be add at minimal cost.

Yes! They are separate arcs. However, after getting the "first time" reward for each of them, you can do either one of them once a week, you can't get a weekly bonus from both sides.

If you did SSA1.1 once on hero side you'd get to pick a reward of your choice as your "first time" reward. For example you pick Alignment Merit.
Then you swap to villain...
Doing the SSA1.1 for the first time on villain side does NOT get you another "first time" reward. It gives you your "once a week" reward. In this case you can again choose the Alignment Merit.
You run either of them again...
You will not be able to choose an Alignment Merit this time because you are now on the week cooldown. If it worked the way you suggested you'd be able to pick up a 3rd alignment merit... which of course you cannot.

This would work for me too, personally, but I assume it would require code changes on the back end/server, and therefore take more time than UI changes.
But a hard reset would actually be easier on the player, as I don't have to log a character in to see exactly when they're eligible, I just know all the characters I haven't completed the arc with in a given week automatically are.
I too would prefer a hard reset with the WST =\

Okay, I ran the first two parts of it on my level 50, and was wondering... does it reset seven days later, or is it a "resets on Sunday" sort of thing?
Basically, do I have to wait until next Saturday before I can get Incarnate threads from one of the two parts again, or what?
