...since I can't seem to find it on the front page.

At what tier do Premium Players get access to Invention Origin Enhancements?

Do they ever? I thought IOs were one of the Paying Customers Only, No Passes things.

Lifetime Invention System access is the bonus for filling Tier 7. Premiums can also buy monthly access vouchers.

I believe you are thinking of Incarnate stuff.

Pretty much everything else is available as a flat purchase [well except forum access + customer service].

It's pretty sad, but the in-game and official site documentation really pale compare to the player-made stuff. I tried to find info on what got rewarded for completed tiers for a preem friend of mine and couldn't until I looked off-site.

Sadly I've found that to be true of most MMOs I've played over the years. The main site is usually fine and dandy for seeing upcoming news and looking for patch notes and the like, but if you want hard (and useful) information on things you really need to look at secondary sources.

The counter argument to that is that the fan-led sites are often able to devote far greater time and effort into producing that kind of documentation, wheras for the company that produces the game there's a cost they are unwilling to spend a huge amount of $$ resources on.

The documentation for what we get when we spend money for this game should be CRYSTAL CLEAR and available at all times.

I didn't think it was so bad until I started trying to give them my money.

It's weird to have company trying to sell me things and not making it easy. totally unused to that.

Yes, until they began to try and sell us stuff. Idk about MMOs in general, ut I think most other businesses, it's been demonstrated that allowing your customers to view a catalog is a good idea for promoting sales.

<snerk>
And how often is that true for software in general? Software documentation typically sucks like a tornado. This is why there is a huge demand for third party books/wikis/etc.

I hear you Ironblade, but Feycat's right. For example, why don't any of the costume items show any screenshots? (At least Cryptic's online stores do.) There's been a lot of confusion and questions about the Rewards Tiers.
