Quote:Not seeing that on Infinity. Certainly, Tin Mage is not as popular as Apex. During Apex's week, it was all Apex, all the time. With Tin Mage, there was definitely not AS MUCH activity but, during prime time, there would be multiple teams forming at the same time.So many folks now are saying screw the WSTF if its Tin Man. Its just not as fun as the ITF or even some of the other tfs. Personally I hate them both simply due to same old thing. +4s and cheating AVs does not make a fun TF at all. In contrast the incarnate trials are significantly easier to deal with because there is some safety with having more than 8 players. But those other TFs you simply could not pay people enough real money to even do them beyond the first time they get the badges. That should be a red flag right there.

Quote:You can't always get the correct spelling. I have a character named Jenni Everywhere because the correct spelling (Jenny) was taken.
And no, I'm not going to get generic'ed. The creator of the character put the character in the public domain. Anyone can use the character in any medium they like. And if I run into the person with the correct spelling, no problem! Jenny has sometimes run into herself in comics. -

Quote:Is that an invisible exo-actuator in your pocket or . . . .Several initiatives were introduced to deal with the problem, with little success, until Sleight of Hand, a technological genius in the field of force fields (har har) and optics, created the "blendevice", a special module that could render the exo-actuator invisible if built with the proper materials and the required wiring. He put all the schematics in the public domain and it was enthusiastically adopted by all exo-actuator makers.
Now the biggest problem for the end users is finding lost exo-actuators. -
I was hoping he would ask who took the name Spartacus. Then we could have 4,000 posts all saying, "I am Spartacus!"

Quote:Beats me. Let's ask whoever decided to give the Cimerorans the Shield set.Even though Castle isn't here anymore, I have no reason to believe the devs who took over his position would not take the exact same stance on it from a game mechanics standpoint. I mean, why would the devs introduce a power that they know will hurt the gameplay of anyone in the vicinity of the person using it?

(shrug) You say "crutch", I say "advance planning that anyone can do".

I have good news and bad news. The bad news is that many people routinely spend BILLIONS on their builds. You can't afford the 'best of the best'.
The good news is, you can EASILY afford a build that will absolutely blow your current build out of the water. Get familiar with the character again and pay attention to any ongoing annoyances ("I wish this recharged faster", "I keep running out of END", etc). You can fix a lot of problems with that kind of money and it will have a clear and noticeable impact on your play.
Also, one other piece of good news: the Fitness pool is now inherent. If you already have it, you need to respec to get it as an inherent. If you didn't have it, you automatically got it for free (but with only the base slot in each power). -
It depends. The hold from Ghost Widows's set is, in my opinion, one of the coolest effects in the game. Also, for some AT's, having a pet to pull some aggro off you is really useful.

Quote:Is that 5GB downstream only or both ways?Hey, im wondering how much data usage this game would use for normal play of around 20 hours a week. I dont have dsl service at my house but i can get a wireless card that has a 5gig data usage plan
I play about twice that much AND I use my computer for everything. My downstream is just under 10GB per month but total (up and down) is over 11.
If you do end up going that route, you should get the program I run that gives me these exact figures: BitMeter. It can give you a breakdown by day or month and all kinds of charting options.Code:Month down total Feb 9.44 11.25 Jan 9.65 11.33 Dec 9.90 12.31 Nov 9.80 11.87

Quote:What I think i did, was, did mener ramiel, but before completing it, I went to villian,If you were able to change alignment, then you have Going Rogue.Quote:
Note: I cannot guarantee that I have the Going Rogue expansion, because it doesnt list it under the account updates.
Your problem seems to be that you had Mender Ramiel's arc OPEN, and then you changed alignments. Since you've already started the arc, you can't get the redside version. And since you're currently not a hero (or Vigilante), you can't complete Ramiel's arc without going back around the alignment wheel.
By the way, it will only take you 6 days to get to where you can do a redside WST. Working from your listing:
a. do 5 villian to rogue missions
b. do 5 villian to rogue missions
c. do alignment mission
d. do 5 rogue to hero missions
e. do 5 rogue to hero missions
f. do alignment mission.
g. complete mender ramiel's mission on hero's side
h. do 5 hero to vigilante missions
i. do 5 hero to vigilante missions
j. do alignment mish
<<< STOP HERE >>> A Vigilante can both participate in and START strike forces.
k. do 5 vigilante to villan missions
l. do 5 vigilante to villian missions
m. do alignment mish -
Not since Issue 16 was released. You can get into the Shadow Shard now at level 1. Also Perez Park, The Hollows, Dark Astoria, Striga, Crey's Folly, etc. The Hive is still restricted. The PvP zones are still restricted. Cimerora is still restricted.

I've been seeing the Medicine pool on a lot more toons, including tanks, since we got inherent Fitness.

Negative. Most DoT powers don't tick fast enough to reliably interrupt it *IF* you have interrupt reduction in it.
Well, if I Foot Stomp first, then the chance of getting hit is pretty low. Or if I use Shield Charge. Or Fault.Quote:Also, if you're tanking a large group, let's assume that the group has an average chance of 7.75% to hit you (taking the exact middle between the minimum of 5% and maximum of 10.5% of +4 av's), and you have 10 enemies aggro'ed on you. That means that the chance of a hit getting through is? -
Yep, I soloed him the first day with my scrapper. When I saw the onscreen warning, my first thought was the fight with Dr. Aeon in the STF. I figured the clones were going to attack me so I just beat Trapdoor down as fast as I could.

I rarely take Build Up on tanks. My elec/elec tank skipped it. I took Jacob's Ladder late but it's not bad. I skipped Chain Induction based on the description. Didn't sound that impressive.

Quote:That page lists a lot of level restrictions on the accolades. I wonder how many are wrong now. I may try to get a few more of them to check.....In this case, Paragonwiki is wrong too. http://wiki.cohtitan.com/wiki/Hero_Accolade_Powers

By the way, the Ouro missions will also go sepia tone once the mission is complete (until you exit).

Quote:People always say that no one reads search messages, but I know that they do. I have a character whose search message says, "Emp/dark with Leadership, Invis, Recall and donuts.""Lose weight now, ask me how!"
Seriously, that's what my search message is. Only one person has ever asked, though
I've had multiple people mention the donuts.

The value (or lack thereof) for recharge depends on the set. Fire and Dark want those heals recharging as fast as possible. For WP, yeah, recharge is pretty useless.

Quote:You have it slightly off there. Rather than referring to "MMOs where the object is to see who has the worst case of OCD.", the point is that all MMO's have SOME OR MANY PLAYERS who are like that. They are a key part of the target audience and they spend plenty of money on the games. You aren't talking about more different, you are talking about more of the same that only applies to MMOs where the object is to see who has the worst case of OCD.
Some MMO's target that audience more than others, but all MMO's have them. -
He was saying DR was a failure. I think his reasoning is that it's one of the things that helped to kill PvP. Therefore, if the goal was to improve the PvP experience, it was a failure.
Of course, the other sentence (about having your bonuses stripped away "for no good reason") isn't actually true. There was a good reason. It just didn't work out as hoped.
