Honestly, I think Aliana could have pushed it further. In fact, Iggy's Fire/Inv example against Silver Mantis makes me think an invul at 45% S/L def with 1 foe in range might be able to take on 8 carefully chosen S/L AVs (as the extra defense would take care of the occasional defense debuff).

My Kat/Reg which is my name's sake is themed around a samurai/ninja thing... just seemed fitting to get it, that and my new Kat/WP as well... now I can't decide as to which one I'd be putting billions on...

so just soloed this the other day on my claws/sr with a heavy use of large inspirations. Took me like 5 tries of mixing and matching inspiration till I settled on 3 large reds and large 2 oranges at a time, that combined with my regen and aidself was enough to take him down rather quickly. That first fight is the toughy, and I might have been lucky that he took the auto hit nictus out first and without that the fight was just any other AV fights...
well anyways thought I'd share it....

If I'm looking at it correctly, you'd need :
FS : +225%
GFS : +140%
Inc : +77%
Assuming a hecatomb proc in FS, it'd do about the same DPS as the other chains, but requires much more recharge. -
If you want a great ST damage AV soloing then I hear good things about DM.
If you're looking for something that could just rip through mobs after mobs, you'd probably gonna want Ele
Now if you want a set that could do both and do it well... then I'd point you to a Fire... -
I currently run Inc-FS-GFS-FS on my fm/sd. Couldn't play him without GFS, and I don't like scorch.

I got 4 scrappers that's worth 1 bill + each soon to be 5.
My claws/sr is probably around 4-5 bill. My fire/sd is probably around 3 bill. And yes they all get the same ammount of playing time. -

Love mine, though he is a scrapper.
I do have it paired up with EA on a brute. Almost just as fun but those Cims could sometimes put a hole right through my defense. -

when you say isn't far off are you putting in the use of SD?
with 40% global recharge is it safe to say that you're at around 55 seconds recharge on SD?
"top tier" per say would be running smite-mg-smite-sl. That kind of recharge should bring down SD at around 35 seconds.
So we're looking at around 20 seconds difference here. Now I'm not a math guy here but that seems like a big number there... -

The numbers were just too good for me to pass up...

You got six on the 9% Acc.
Dropping a slot from Agile and since you have CP maybe pull out a slot from Stamina. Put those 2 slots on Lucky and 3 of Serendipity should get you cap to aoe and add 10 more hp with 4% Regen.
Or you could just drop the Kismet unique in place of Lotg def/end/rech on Focused Fighting for even more accuracy. -
With some decent IO's my Claws/EA runs at +2/x8 no bosses. I run +4/x8 with him on a council map if I wanna PL me some...

I really wouldn't go as far as capping out the HP for a WP. Throw in a mixture of defense say 35+ and you should be gold...
