  1. Liefield's awesome knowledge of anatomy is not only displayed on Captain America.

My nerdrage kicked in years ago when Spider-Man was appearing in some other comic. The cover stated "From the pages of Venom, The Amazing Spider-Man!". I soon stopped collecting Spider-Man comics after Carnage's debut and all the rest of the overexposed Venom stuff. It was the same with all things in the 90's, when they came across a concept that clicked with the fans they obviously thought "This guy is awesome, so let's make 10 of him and give them all four monthly titles with foil hologram covers!"
  3. Probably going to end up as a soldier or someone working with experimental Iron Patriot armor and then getting exposed to the Extremus.
  4. Same here. I figured that I'd managed to break something again..... I've had several strange issues pop up with CoX over the past couple of years.
  5. I don't have a cure for altitus, except for just forcing myself into taking my older toons to the 50+ areas and enhancing with the IO sets to really make them more and more powerful. I still get the "now I want this" urge to create new toons, but it's also tempered with the "I want to make this toon bad@$$!" one. I had horrible altitis; I'd been playing for over 5 years and only had a handfull of lvl 50s.
  6. I'm all for this, prior to the target knowing the player is near, they perform the sniper power and "Snipe" appears over the target's head with a ton of damage done.
  7. I liked how he took the mask off to not scare the kid, and then gave it to him to reassure him during the rescue. Nice scene there. The more I see of the film, the more I'm wanting to watch it, but I didn't really want to watch it at all before......and I hate that version of Spider-Man's costume.

This! I joined the Army in 1996, and was busy with training and other duties, so I missed the last couple of seasons. I'd love the chance to catch up on what happened without having to pay a ton of money for a DVD set or something.

I let out a big laugh in the theater once I saw the guy was, in fact, playing Galaga.....I was the only one. I'm glad that I'm not alone!

  12. Ahh. For the most part, I like the Mission Impossible stuff that Cruse did, so I could see more of a realistic take with vampire hunting and all that with some action as being good. The last one was just a mess with all the crappy CGI. I was wanting to like it, but I didn't.
  13. I'm happy about Transformers and GI Joe. My kids are watching He-Man, which I watched thirty years ago when I was their age, often on Netflix. I'm looking forward to showing them some of the other stuff from my youth.
  14. We took our kids to see it over the weekend. My 5 year old was rolling the isle.....and my wife and I noticed that he was the only one laughing.. Still there was some funny stuff in there, since I wasn't expecting much. I was rather disappointed in Will Sasso, who was Curly. I watched him on Mad TV years ago, and that guy seems like he could imitate anyone. He recently channeled Hulk Hogan on WWE's Monday Night RAW. Anyway, Curly is who used to make the old films and he could have stolen the show if only he'd channeled some of the real Curly.
  15. That one's funny, but I could spend hours on there watching the other Robot Chicken clips.
  16. I'll never claim to have been great at it, but I did enjoy PvP prior to those changes. I enjoyed the fast paced action. But, whoever is at fault, I don't anymore. I wish that they would go back to the prei13 model.

Yes. That and Hasten. I play on the lowest graphics level to not be overcome by the light coming off of my toons when they use superspeed and I hate the glowing fists that go with Hasten. And since virtually all my toons have superspeed and hasten.....

    Ice for Brutes?

I'm with you there; they should give ice to everyone and let us, the players, decide if any lessened fury generation is worth having ice armor for our brutes.

I'm pretty sure that I saw a post by someone with a red name stating because the ice would slow down enemy attacks and all that, that it messed up the Fury mechanic and that brutes would never get ice. I'll admit that I could be wrong though. Now that was a long time ago, and Fury has been changed, so the argument isn't valid anymore. I'm all for brutes getting it and if reduced fury generation is a consequence, then people don't have to play it.

I hate tanks and I've wanted an Ice toon for awhile so I'm looking forward to ANYONE getting Ice Melee and Ice Armor.
  19. I bought it and played with it for awhile on a /Nin stalker. Pretty fun stuff. Kind of a delayed reaction with the Assassin's Strike power between the animation and when it shows that it hit above the target's head. I thought that I'd missed several times.

Yeah, the sounds aren't bad, but I was on an entire team of Staff, beating up everything in the DFB, so that always adds to the confusion. I'll have to play solo later to see if I like the sounds any better.

Overall: I'm glad that I saved my "money" for Staff Fighting.

    Ice for Brutes?

They pretty much said that this would never happen because of the Fury mechanic, but I don't see why Scrappers couldn't have all that, as well as Stalkers getting a version of Ice Melee.
  21. I have to say that the Joker was the high point of the last Batman movie, and while it was good in many ways, I just didn't like it. I absolutely hate Beal as Batman. That awful voice he uses just grates on my ears. I like what Nolan did with the whole franchise, but I'm already ready for the inevitable revamp/reboot movie to bring Batman into a shared universe with Superman so we can have a JLA movie.

So, for me, Avengers all the way.

Instead they could make new visual for Ice Armor that's better than the block of ice we have.
I'm for an "icy" aura around the character with cold looking vapor coming off the toon and maybe some ice patches.
  23. I want it!

I doubt that if they did make one, they would have so many attacks in there. I'd suggest the Cobra Strike disorient as the first power to bring the set more in line with the other Blaster secondaries. I've been waiting for this since the first time Maelstrom unleashed an Eagle's Claw on my head.

You can't have a skin tight suit without a bulge unless there's simply nothing there.

Edit: Also, no offense, Suck it up. We've had decades of blatantly exaggerated female anatomy, a few hours worth of moderately accurate male anatomy isn't going to kill you.
    boobs = good

    crotch bulge = bad
