  1. You can't paste into paint or other image package or did you just discovered that they don't make a file in your screenshots folder?

    Try the methods described here.

    E-mail limits?

No you misunderstand. He sent 20, read 20, send another 20, etc. He was simply doing some bulk moving of items and money around his multitude of characters and found the limit.

Here's his thread on the Tech Board.
  3. This is more of a market discussion but the problem stems from the fact the game simply doesn't have a way to keep the influx of inf from bashing critters in check. The 5% WW/BM fee simply doesn't pull enough inf out of the game. With discounts and free tokens at the tailors, they no longer act as a significant inf sink either. Neither is the crafting cost for IOs.

I remember the time pre-market when you didn't earn enough inf to SO your character out totally until you were in the high 20s to low 30s. Decaying enhancements were the inf sink back then but once you hit 35 critters gave you enough inf that you never had to worry about refitting your SOs, assuming you weren't a clothes horse and visited the tailor frequently.

It also doesn't help when you look at the amount of inf you earn bashing enough critters to get a desirable purple recipe. So the inf supply goes through the roof and you get hyperinflation on the desirable items on the market.

So until they get the inf supply under some kind of control (I'm for scaling the WW/BM cut up as the sale price goes up), prices for desirable items on the market will simply keep increasing with no end in sight.

    E-mail limits?

And as Kheldarn found out, there is a 150 e-mails a day limit. I think it's per account.
  5. Well it's a $750 build now, I included a copy of 64-bit Win 7 Home Premium ($100) and tweaked the limit up since I was already over $600 with my previous rig since ram prices shot up last year.

Also switched from Intel Socket 775/DDR2/GTS 250 to AMD Socket AM3/DDR3/HD 5770.

    Vet Rewards

No you are only credited with the time you actually played. It's an reward for staying with the game, not one based on how much you spent.
  7. It always switches to Below Normal priority if you have another window in focus. Toggle the "always on top" switch on the task monitor and then switch back to the game, you will see the priority go back to Normal.
  8. And there is a patch coming that will reenable the shader modes on Intel integrated graphics, it's currently on test.
  9. Well we don't know how the hardware is configured. It's entirely possible that several of the low population servers are actually running on one server cluster while a high population server like Virtue has a separate server cluster all to itself.
  10. Remember that they don't ramp up support personal for a major release. This means they are getting a ton of requests and little or no guidance on fixing new issues. Also Level 1 appears to be a very keyword/scripted affair so the first few responses from them will be less than helpful especially if you've already rummaged around the Support Center. For instance they probably have no idea that you can now e-mail inf and items between characters. Also they support all NCSoft games and not just CoH/V.
  11. Water Effects medium is the same as the pre-I17 high, no reflections.
  12. Ah, gototray needs to be last? Not sure why but it's pretty much been that way, at least since I've made a Kheldian a few years back.
  13. World Detail now affects reflection of objects in the water and I believe Shadows (not sure on the shadow bit) and not just the how close an object needs to be before it's rendered.

    The market.....

Well during the Beta most testers were testing the new interface rather than playing the market and crafting wholesale and probably weren't buying salvage by the stack and therefore didn't see the problem. It's also possible, because the consignment house UI was being tweaked until the very end, the bug was introduced only days before I17 went live and it was missed.

The good news is that there is a patch being tested on the test server that hopefully addresses this so once pushed to Live (it also fixes Intel graphics and an global E-Mail bug) the markets will be back.
  15. Which 4000 series? The banter says 4850 is generally thought of as the minimum for UM.
  16. Your card is only charged for subscription when your current subscription runs out.
  17. I wouldn't say an 1.6MHz Atom is below minimum specs, since that is an 800MHz PIII. Not great but still possible. The major problem of course is the GMA 950 integrated graphics in the 945 chipset. Horrible, horrible graphics solution.

As for Nettops, as they are called Texas Justice, there are quite a few of them on the market including DIY ones using either Intel's or nVidia's integrated graphics (ION). Yes they're meant to be more of a browser/light office platform than a gaming platform but they do exist. I think Asus is coming out with one shortly in the form factor of a keyboard.
  18. Devs have said time and again that no trading between Heroes and Villains. Talk is that when you switch sides all the inf from one side will be put in escrow so you can't take it with you.

    1. Okay, so you need to get salvage drops as well as recipe drops to create IOs. Do the recipes get used up when you create a IO or do you just need to find new salvage and not the recipe again?
    2. Is there a list somewhere of what the IO sets are and the effects they create?
    3. How do IO enhancement bonuses stack up against TO, DO and SO enhancements?
    4. IO don't wear out through levelling, does that mean that higher levelled ones simply give larger enhancement bonuses?
    5. Can you ++ IO enhancements? (So can you combine 3 level 15 enhancements to create a level 17?)
    1. Yes, the recipe and salvage is used up during the creation of the IO. The exception to this rule is Common IOs assuming you've made enough of them in a specific level range to have memorized them. Then you don't need the recipe and the crafting cost is halved (and you get a badge). Memorize enough Common IOs through multiple level ranges and you get a Field Crafting Table you can call up. The details about number needed for a particular type and level of IO can be found here.
    2. Yes, this is the main page from ParagonWiki on IO Enhancements. There are links there that can take you more specific information.
    3. There's an app, I mean table for that. While Common IOs come in steps of 5 levels (10, 15, 20, etc) Set IOs can be of any (well almost any) level their values can be found here.
    4. Exactly. A level 10 Common Accuracy IO will always be 11.7% while a 30 will always be a 34.8%.
    5. Nope.
As stated before, ParagonWiki is your friend.

    Email down?

    Email Zombie, not consignment house.
  22. The point of submitting that the tech support is so they may be able to find a common denominator that could help diagnosing the problem. It may take them some time to gather enough info to provide a solution. Sending a 2nd one of the same system isn't going to help them narrow the search for the cause.

Have patience and have you tried what was suggested by red names (Tex or GPU) in one of the other dozen "input lag" threads started in the last 3 days?

Also the sticky labeled "Players experiencing issues related to Graphics cards" may contain a helpful suggestion or two.
  23. You are aware that this is player helping player support and NOT official NCSoft support right? If people here aren't helping you to your satisfaction you could try going the official route.

Is what you are seeing sounds like what is described in the known issues list? Specifically "Windowed mode causes the NPC portraits to resize significantly."
