Vertical Stretching?

Just bumping this in case anyone knows what the problem is. I would like to fix it if possible.

I believe I saw this listed in the Known Issues section of the GMOTD that popped up yesterday. I'm not at home yet or I'd check it myself. You can type /gmotd to see it again, then click the Known Issues tab at the top.
It's known that running in Windowed mode can cause this problem. Easy solution? Don't run in Windowed mode. Yes, they are working on a resolution, as they are with many problems that have popped up.
Just as an FYI, bumping your post is against the forum rules. There are a lot of threads being started and it's likely none of the players spotted yours immediately and it slid down the list. There are several players that make a habit of looking for threads with few if any replies.
If the game spit out 20 dollar bills people would complain that they weren't sequentially numbered. If they were sequentially numbered people would complain that they weren't random enough.

You are aware that this is player helping player support and NOT official NCSoft support right? If people here aren't helping you to your satisfaction you could try going the official route.
Is what you are seeing sounds like what is described in the known issues list? Specifically "Windowed mode causes the NPC portraits to resize significantly."

I know I've seen this issue happen before, but I can't find any info on it now. In game, my screen looks like its stretching vertically, most noticeable with NPC pics when you're talking to a contact (looks like a tall rectangle instead of a square), and with the color palette grid on the costume creation screen. It wasn't like this before I17 went live. I've tried messing with the resolution, but no matter what I pick, the stretching is still there. Yes, I do have a widescreen monitor, but again, everything looked fine prior to I17 hitting. Its not anything game breaking, but its enough to bug me. Any suggestions?
