It wasnt directed at you, its just an overall disgust that I have for when people complain about mercs when they are fine aside from the medic who likes to suicide himself. I have seen in so many threads people complaining about mercs when its the ninjas that need the most help at the moment. I dont see them getting help unless I actually go to where there devs work and demand some fixes. It takes forever and a day for them to look at the stuff that truely needs fixing. Oh but let some worthless badge not work that gets fixed in 5 minutes. We wait years and years and they still have not fixed underperforming powersets and ATs. They need to make a full issue totally dedicated to QoL fixes and fixing bugs with missions and such.
  2. Sorry but I gotta say ninja/poison is probably the weakest combo. I have done this mastermind to 50. I dont know where people are getting this thing that the mercs are bad. At least with mercs they stay alive long enough to do damage where as ninjas get 1 shotted before they even get to melee. Personally I will raise all kinds of hell if the mercs set is buffed before the ninja set gets a buff. And as for secondaries go poison severely falls apart once the spawn numbers go up. Its difficult on teams especially against stuff like long bow. What I want to see is the ninjas given soft capped aoe defense at least so they dont die to aoes, then they can at least make it to melee without being 1 shotted. Hell even that might not be enough as I have done ninja/ff and they still die like flies. I would say they need some resistance to help the squishness. But overall what needs to happen if they are going to stay squishie is to lower the end costs of the summon by like 90% and the upgrades too. And lower the recharge to like 10 seconds on all of the summons and upgrades. That way ninjas can be just like how it is in the movies where the big bad guy has an unlimited supply of ninjas guarding him.

But the rest of the ice assault set has piddly damage for way too high of endurance costs compared to the other dom sets. Ice was the only set that didnt get a damage boost during the dom revamp when it was in bad need of help compared to the rest aside from psi.
  4. I choose to move some of my villains over for other reason than just teaming. CoV side is depressing with all the trash on the ground and the cloudy skies. But the thing that takes the cake for me is the annoying mobs. You know the ones that are control resistant, or have too much smash/lethal resists for the level range. I switched over alot of dominators because of the control issue because I am not at a point where I can keep domination up 100% of the time. As for as teaming goes I do not think that will ever get better until there is parity between the two games in terms of mob composition and group content.
  5. What would I change? Well for starters I would never create a system where there is such a huge disparity on how the ATs and powerset perform. There never should be a grand canyon size gap in solo speed for the damage ATs and support classes. I think that in itself has hurt the game and led to so many unneeded nerfs. When players cant solo fast or feel their damage is poor they will gravitate towards the flavor of the month builds due to that. If everyone can solo almost the same speed then it does not matter what you pick as much. To me we should be picking the powersets for thematic reasons for the characters not because there is an overwhelming reason to play a powerset or AT because its that much better than every thing else. It took them gawd knows how long to realize this when they buffed doms after they created the VEATs. Thats too long to realize that the sky is not going to fall when you have a support AT that does decent damage. Lastly there would be absolutely no pvp unless they could keep it 110% seperate from pve. Too many pvp changes that bleed over into pve have also cost this game too many good players.

    Gauss Proc in BF

Its totally worth it to me on claws and db. Especially claws since you can slot the other build up proc in focus and have them to both go off. I noticed a huge increase on damage once I slotted these. Its going to go off way more than 5% of the time I can tell you that.
  7. The only thing I want done to the power is for them to bring back the original sound effect it used to have. It sounds horrible since they changed it.
  8. Specificially the one for the fake nemesis kills. I been doing missions and what not but its just too slow with so few boss spawns. I could turn the settings to +8 but then I get slaughtered due to vengance. I guess what I am looking for is an easy way to get this badge on heroside without hunting greys. This character is a lvl 50 scrapper with incarnate boosts.
  9. This movie might be worth looking at so long as they do not get racists like they did in the previous moview with the bots. I think this will be a good summer for movies finally. So many good ones coming out this year.
  10. I logged in a few minutes ago and found a summon thing in one of my freshly created alts power tray. I summon it and I got a baby MVAS. How did I get this?

If its an IO defense or tohit set then yes, but you have to ask yourself if you need vengance up more than it is normally is your team doing something wrong?
  12. While I know that was one of the developer goals in all of this but has anyone actually done it outside of power leveling? I am kind of getting burnt out on some of the incarnate stuff and need a break from it all so I wanted to start a few alts but have them leveling primarily in the AE only leaving to do TFs and such.

I have tried a few arcs but for the most part people either pick stuff that gives so few tickets that they are not worth ever running again or they pick powerset combinations with the most annoying powers in the game, or they have tons of extreme bosses where you never make it past the front door. Essentially what I want is something I can take any character thru without being penalized by my AT selection or powerset selection. If there is a thread or guide that has a listing of good arcs to level up with that would really be appreciated.

Lastly once my characters beef up a little bit I usually set the slider higher on the number of players my character is equal to. My biggest fear in that is the ticket map cap limit where you end up not getting all the tickets. I guess what I am asking for is what is the most you can set your difficulty to and come close to but not over the ticket cap for the maps. If anyone knows specifically how it works that would be a big help too.
  13. Also for SR because its missing the lucky power you will not be able to get the full defense debuff resistance and scaling resists (not that scaling resists would matter much with low stalker hps) that scrappers/brutes get. Which to me would the only reason to choose the set over Ninjutsu but since you do not get the full effect its not worth it. Just roll ninjutsu. So much win there that its going to explode.

I agree here. I did the ITF yesterday and my caltrops do insane amount of damage. It just feels wrong being able to do this to mobs after dealing with 54s for so long. Maybe if its intended then I can live with it.
  15. You guys remember how it was going to be? Seperate money for each faction. I am so glad the devs came to their sense and made all the inf currencies the same and merged the markets otherwise it would have been a huge mess.
  16. I am wanting to know based on the end game incarnate stuff which secondary can get the most out of claws. Or give the most to make claws better. Essentially what I want to do is build a character based on 2 possible things. I wanted to put the chance for build up proc into follow up and focus in hopes I can keep them up alot of the time. And I want to try to have the best possible slotting for follow up. So any build suggestions for this? and any incarnate slot suggestions. My highest claws (claws/wp) character is 25 right now and tried the chance for build up proc and its really nice. I was thinking of procing out slash too but i am not sure if its worth it or not. I guess in a sense I am looking for opinions from players who have already done something similar with claws. I am willing to start a fresh alt for this since leveling takes no time now.
  17. So it caps at 50 but what about the other levels. I remember reading that the speed of all travels scales with level except teleport. Is it still like that?
  18. Ok call it scripted behavior then. My point is its borked compared to some npcs. Its almost like they have it doing something completely different but in favor on certain npcs. Personally I think this needs to be addressed in some way and while they are at it finally get rid of the whole lets run away thing. Its stupid and extremely unrealistic on many of the mobs. I could see underlings doing it but every single spawn? Thats just retarded to me especially when AVs do it.

It did work on psuedo pets I know at one point, but something got broken from beta to live or shortly before live. Testing the tier 4 on the beta server is what made me get the damage procing interface to begin with. Sigh... I just wish the chance for knockdown proc would work with level shifts without scattering everything to the 4 winds. Caltrops would be devastating then.
  20. Since launch the pet AI has gone thru so many changes most of them for the worst. I remember at one time the only way to get a functional pet was to take recall friend and port your pet around so it would go to melee. Now pets seem to be still be broken but in different ways. Many of the melee stand there and pick their noses instead of attacking. Essentially what I am hoping for is for the devs to finally make the pets more aggressive like the way the ghouls are. Those are like the only npcs I love to team with because despite aggroing every thing in site they are extremely aggressive towards mobs. They always get the job done. Now if say pets like Jack Frost or the Ninjas could ever be like this I would be more willing to want to level those primaries again to 50. As it stands now they are just borked. It be nice if we had the option for an AI transplant of some sort.

I really wish you guys wouldnt call it global server access, the name is extremely misleading for what you are actually doing.
  22. Teaming is where that set combo falls apart. Once the spawns start getting bigger you do not have enough debuffing to handle the extra mobs. Then with the ninjas having paper thin defense that makes it that much worse.
  23. 2 things, on ninja/ff where are you getthing those values from with the 56% defense? How is this even possible. On ninja/storm thats actually a bad combination if your using the hurricane. If your pushing the mobs back all the time the ninjas never get a chance to hit what ever your attacking. You would pretty much have to use the geometry of the map your on for every single spawn point just to make this work.

As for as best pairings go I am gonna say Ninja/Thermals, simply because you have the resistance shields which allow the ninjas to live more than 1 to 2 hits to be able to do the damage you buff up with forge. And you have heals to patch them up as needed.
  24. On masterminds I dont even both with most sets because the set bonuses are horrid stuff like debt protection and resistance to mez effects values which are so low they would never make a noticeable difference. Instead of sets I usually go with acc/dam HOs and the resistance, defense, and build up procs in the pets. Thats really all they need unless you got a specially needs pet thats always out of end.
  25. I dont know about the actual unlocking part but you do get the on screen pop-up that the EAT has been unlocked upon dinging 20 as a praetorian. I remember seeing it the other day on one of my alts.
