How does 'money' work with hero, villain, prae, and mailing?
All inf is the same, it just has different names (prae name is "information"). You can mail it across factions.
Absolutely nothing. It gets renamed. And yes, you can mail it all to any character.
Thank you for the quick responses
Actually, one more silly question.
If your in a supergroup and you switch sides, do you just get kicked out?
No, you won't get kicked out, but your name becomes red in the SG listing. You also can't access the base or gain additional Prestige for your SG until you switch back.
Main Hero: Chad Gulzow-Man (Victory) 50, 1396 Badges
Main Villain: Evil Gulzow-Man (Victory) 50, 1193 Badges
Mission Architect arcs: Doctor Brainstorm's An Experiment Gone Awry, Arc ID 2093

Ok, very good to know, thanks.
Don't you get auto-kicked if you join another SG (after switching sides)? Your position in your original SG is just on hold in case you switch back.
Teams are the number one killer of soloists.
You can't join another SG while you're already in one.
@Roderick
You guys remember how it was going to be? Seperate money for each faction. I am so glad the devs came to their sense and made all the inf currencies the same and merged the markets otherwise it would have been a huge mess.

Thank You Devs for Merits!!!!
Definitely not losing your mind DanZero. I remember those days, searching broadcast for someone who you thought was trustworthy enough, that flutter of the heartbeat when it took them more then 30 seconds to hop on their villian, etc.
I'm just dipping into i20 now...let me see if I understand....when I make my Hero change to Villain, (I 'm about halfway vigilante) I can't join my usual vg? That seems silly ... why couldn't I? because I might "switch back" and couldn't be trusted??

What they are saying is that you can't be a member of multiple supergroups as it is, but even when switching you can't be a member of both a hero and villian supergroup at the same time.
If you are in a hero group, and you switch to villian, you have to leave your hero group to join the VG.
Okay, thank you I imagine a prompt of some kind will politely ask me whether I wish to leave the sg or not before I completely switch then...(?)

If you want to join a villain group, you'll have to open up your supergroup window and manually quit the SG first, as you can't be a member of more than one supergroup at a time.
Maybe I'm losing my mind, but wasn't it like this before, and we had to work out backroom deals between heroes and villains? Like I give your hero x 500 mil influence, you give my villain y 500 mil infamy?

Inf is inf is inf. Before they made it so we could email and the like, and you had to trade the way you mentioned was due to the two sides being completely separated. There was no way for redside inf to get to blueside because the markets were not merged, and there was no inf-mailing. So it was that way, but only because at the time there wasn't a way for the infamy to get to Paragon and be called Influence.
I actually made a decent amount of inf off being a trusted currency exchange.

So you think you're a hero, huh.
@Boltcutter in game.
I did a search, all the posts about this seem to be from ~2010 and talk about the NDA. I'm sure there must be updated information on this somewhere but I certainly don't see it. The questions are simple enough though.
1: What happens with influence/infamy/whatever prae gets when you switch factions
2: Can you mail influence/infamy/whatever prae gets through e-mail to different factions or only to the same faction
