  1. As stated, It has always worked this way.

The way I get around it on my Thugs MM is that I have "Bruiser: Goto" mapped to Shift+LButton so I can just shift and click to reposition him. If you manually move melee pets into range of a knocked down enemy, it will start attacking them while they're still on the ground.

Unfortunately, it only works for Thugs because the Bruiser is the only Melee. It's not really a good solution for a set that's entirely melee (IE: Ninja's and Beast Mastery).

If ambushes can spawn Crystals, there's no reason to assume that they can't spawn snipers.

That's jutst how Tsoo Sorceres act.
When you're fighting them on an office map and every few seconds they disapear for about 5-10 seconds, they've just ported to a random spot on the map.

If you ever confuse them they do the same thing, he'll TP out to a random spot on the map, take a swing or 2 at whoever's in attack range, the TP back to your location. The attacked mobs don't run to attack you, because of the way Confuse works, mobs attacked by a confused mob don't aggro on you. Unfortunately, a pet Sorcerer will cause anything it hits to aggro on you instantly.

Really the only way to stop it would be to remove the telport ability from the pet. But not sure if they can seperate it from the pet without removing it from all sorcerers in the game
(Don't get me wrong, anyone who fights Tsoo on Cavern Maps in a defeat all would cheer at this change, but I don't see that happening after all this time)
  4. People need to start using the ingame bug report when this happens.

Someone asked about it on one of the last few Ustreams (4/18 or 4/11?) and the dev in the interview said it was the first he had heard about it and people should report it ingame if it happens to them with details on where/what triggers it.

Because it's a PITA, and should be changed.

Can you name any other Earths where we can put a base portal? No. All of the ones we can access are by using Portal Corp. technology.
last time I checked, Pocket D was in the Shadow Shard, not on "earth"

We also can't put SG base portals to any villain zones or VG base portals to any hero zones.
We have dual (duel?) SG/VG access in the Vanguard base.

Edit and now that I think about it... by this logic, why can Rogues access VG bases in Paragon city base portals, and Viglantes access SG bases in the Rogue islands?
  6. I'm suprised noone has mentioned Earth/Thermal yet.
Tint the flames to be red/orange instead of green and you got a perfect Lava/Heat type of theme.
  7. Just kind of read the first page... sorry if it's been mentioned.

But speaking of spoilers... was anyone else disappointed when they did a Dev Diary about the origins of Master Midnight from First Ward?

I remember when I was running the arc wracking my brain trying to figure out who it was
"Can't be Darrin Wade, too obvious"
"Hmm maybe Mercades? Maybe she's a He in First Ward. Like Praetorian Faultline and Fusionette are gender swapped"
"Can't be Montague, just saw his reanimated corpse on that mission...."
    Etc.

Then when I got to the Mission where they revealed who it was and I was like "OMG! It can't be! Yet it makes perfect sense!"

Then about a week later, I see the dev diary and was like "Awww "
  8. Actualy, now that I think of it... the 2nd contact, it's a branch. (For both AP and Mercy)

Blueside you get a choice of the Nurse and the Skulls... or the Cop and the Vaz
Redside it's Firewire and the bank job with the Skulls.... or Dr Somethingoranother and the Blighted.

So everyone would have to do initial contact, then one of the 2 secondary contacts, then everyone gets filtered to the third contact.

Edit: and now that I think of it... on my Badger Villain, I ran both the 2ndary contacts via Oro and when I did get to Lt Harris, for the final mission I got THREE sets of helpers at the LB Base. The Blighted, A group of Skulls, and the magic guy from the first set of missions that you get the choice to "Save/Leave/Kill".
  9. I think they might have changed the population numbers behind the "dots".
I noticed when I21 "Subscriber Preview" went live all the server numbers seemed lower then before hand.

But I've defineately noticed a higher amount of traffic on Victory in the lower zones. (Both Mercy and AP)
  10. That's weird... I lead an Oro run for Twin Shot part 2 about 2 weeks ago (I had already completed the entire arc) and I asked in chat after we got done if everyone got the badge for running the arc and they said they did.
  11. I gotta go with the guys saying "Look at Durray, not everyone is the oppisete"

Just look at Master Midnight, I could easily see his Primal Counterpart going the same way if the Primal world started to go to hell like it did in the First Ward. He's just as (seemingly) inept in both worlds.
  12. Has anyone noticed if the Cutscene was actually changed?
Sounds like a Dev had a change to the cutscene planned and it accidently got pushed from Dev to test then live.

Not to worry. Coyote still shows up in the Ouroborus starter arc. They still send you back to Outbreak. (Or at least they did as of last week)
  14. Just a clarification...
I noticed the "Staying stelathed when attacking" back when they first came out (which was long before any trials were even hinted at) and what I found out was that they do come out of stealth when they attack, BUT they have a "Placate" ability they use as well (if you look up at the effects on you, you can find it and then right click and look at the info on it to see the exact nature of the ability).

I remember doing that mission and "Just use yellows" was not the answer. We did use yellows but kept dying, and then going to hospital and stocking back up on more yellows, then they'd run out and we'd die again... So I guess yellows were the answer... but really?

The thing that REALLY drove me nutz about all the snakes? The Kill Badge for Snakes (Mongoose?) only takes like 1.5 missions to get. It's almost as easy to get as the bugged "Time spent in the Shadow Shard" badge.

The only problem is that this TF is for level 10-15. Especialy with new Freedom People you might have new people with no Travel Power or Temp Powers to get them up on top of the roof.
  17. I'm just going by what he said on the Ustream. He specifically says that they had discussions, and had to have the award tables made so that they don't give XP or drop items to prevent farming, but that they should drop inspirations.
  18. Was watching the Paragon Studios Ustream from 8/31 [http://www.ustream.tv/channel/paragon-studios] and the Wold dev that was on, said during the interview in the Q&A that inspirations should drop from the mobs during the world events (IE: Imperial City: Syndicate event). However they do not.

I was just rounding up the badges on my level 50 MM last week and he had just sold several Inspirations on the Black Market. And after doing all three events (one of them twice) he had not gotten one inspiration drop.

Sorry if this has already been brought up, but I did a search on this forum for the word "Inspiration" and didn't see any threads on it.

    Server status

An interesting tangent (or maybe not).
The Beta VIP server just went down without warning.
  20. Umm with the MM set... they have + Recharge enhancers in the set and can only be slotted into Pet powers... but pet powers are not effected by Recharge.

Edit: Excpet for special ones like Summon Posse, Hell On Earth, Soul Extraction, but not all Pet Sets have those types of power (Ninjitsu and Robotics for example).
  21. Freem is overrated.
Give ME my Limitless Radial Freeeem any day over it.

Unfortunately, leaving Praetoria isn't going to help.
They've been gradually adding those Warehouse Lag Maps into regular content.
Noticed several of them in Tip missions recently and even one of them in the last Synapse TF I ran.
  23. Disclaimer: I love doing TFs with Friends (and Even PUGs, if you're on Justice United you've probably seen me [/waves to Heroette])

That being said, I totally see where Heroid is coming from.
Can soloers build up Incarnate abilities? Yes, but only by doing the same content that they've already been doing already. They're just adding Shard drops to the existing mobs out there.

There's been zero indication that there's any new solo/small group (less then 5) content being put out.
Not even a new story arc like they did with the Clones/Dupes and the Rogue Legacy Chain/Rogue PPD arcs they put in last issue.

Heck even Mender Ramiel can be done solo without too much effort (at least if you're willing to get a Shivan)

Simply itemizing existing Mobs to drop an item that allows you to build Incarnate abilities is NOT "adding new content". Imagine how Ticked you'd be if they announc "Ok for I21 we're adding 'Fluzzle Stones' to all level 51+ mobs. For every 10 Fluzzle Stones, you can combine them into a level for your [Limitless Radial Freeeem] ability. See you in I22!"
  24. There's something that worries me about the Auto-group
First they say they don't want to make it too challenging, but they want it to be challenging.

How do make content that's both "challenging yet not too challenging" for 12 scrappers vs 12 Master Minds?

On the other hand if it's not random people getting thrown together, how much longer are the 'common" ATs goinng to have to wait for a turn compared to the rarer ones.
  25. So has anyone talked to Mender Ramiel to see if he has anything new to say?
    (I'm stuck at work till 6 )
