I think you missed the fine print which clearly states "Server status is only an approximated value of true server status. Servers may be in any state of up, down, left, or right regardless of indications above."

The game servers are up, but the login server is down. Of course you can't get to the game servers without going through the login server, but it still technically shows correct status.
European Support just said they are aware it is taking longer but have no ETA on them being back up yet.
@Damz Find me on the global channel Union Chat. One of the best "chat channels" ingame!

A stopped clock is more reliable than the Server Status at the CoH website.
Then there's the fact they have yet merged in the EU servers.

The server status page is usually very reliable, but sometimes gets confused and stuck showing a months' old date. I've seen it happen a handful of times in the game's history. I honestly don't know where the rabid hatred for the thing comes from, as it's always been accurate when I've checked it, save for about five times.

My hatred for the server status page comes from the failure to integrate the EU servers.
Friday evening, prime-time Australia, and unannounced complete server shutdown.
Remind me why I pay for access to a damn game that's RARELY playable by people in the Oceania zone, during the evenings.
Last week it was about 30 hours straight I couldn't logon. Today, who knows -- it isn't up on the 'announcements' page that the servers are even going down, never mind any estimate of when they're going to be back up.
Just more of the same.
Roll on Star Wars The Old Republic, that's all I can say.

Put it this way; would you rather the servers were up and lagging, crashing and generally making life suck, or would you rather the Devs took a little longer to make sure that, when they do come up, they work better?
They really aren't out to make specific people or groups lives a misery, and this is coming from someone who remembers the OLD EU Forums and service (i.e. non-existent contact or support)
