How about a Sonic/Energy Defender? I have one that I am struggling to level solo... after a few years I am 38. I've never seen another one.

Just wondering if anyone expects to be online around 2PM (EST) on Sunday 11/20 and interested in running a Moonfire (This weeks WST)?

I'm certainly not a guru on Electric blast or TA but have played Electric Blast 50 on a defender and TA up to 30 on a Controller. Looking at your power selections I think you are a bit lacking in your primary. I can't imagine playing Electric Blast with out both Lightning bolt AND Charged Bolts. You will need another single target damage power. Also, Tesla cage is a great power, not for damage, but for the Hold. Combine it with Ice Arrow (Which I don't see in your build either) and you can hold a boss right away, or, two Lts. Voltaic Sentinel is not a great power, but it will add more damage to your output, while you continue to debuff/control.

Through my 50 levels of Dark Miasma/Electric blast, I either solo'd or duo'd with my brother's Gravity/Storm controller... and we used to play set to "Invincible" back in the day. That was with no sets slotted. I respecced a few times, trying out all the powers. After trying them all in various combinations and knowing that I would duo with a controller most of the time, my finaly 50 build had all of the electric blast powers except Short Circuit and Tesla Cage. With fearsone Stare and the controller, i just didn't need Tesla Cage, but found all the other powers useful.

Two months later and I still haven't decided... I am actually leaning towards the dark side and making an Elec/Elec Dominator, or just going with Elec/Rad. As soon as I get a couple of other "high priority" tasks done I will take a closer look at Electric Control.

Were you in "Supergroup Mode" when you hit all the locations?

I'm looking to try out the Electric control set, with a Controller and I'm not sure what to pair it with... I am pretty much a fanboy of Radiation Emission and Kinetics, but I have 3 /Rad Controllers, a Rad Defender, 2 Kin Defenders and a /Kin Controller already so I'm thinking I may like to try something else.

Some info regarding my playstyle... this will mostly be a solo character, I do not delve into purples, and don't do much for high end builds either. I mostly slot Generic IOs with some slotting for +Global Rech and +Recovery.

I was thinking of possibly Electric/Storm for a thematic combo. Anyone have an Elec/Storm? Suggest for or against this combo?

Any other suggestions for what goes good with Electric control? I assume from the power descriptions that Electric is a low damage control set and I am OK with that. I also have an Earth/FF(50 that teamed a good bit) and an Ice/TA (Currently 24 that has exclusively soloed) controller so I can deal with the slowness of a low damage set.

For something a little different... if you aren't set on having a "melee" character, try a pair of defenders (or corruptors). I duo'd a Radiation/Dark Blast defender with my brother's Kin/Elec Defender. The only thing that ever gave us any difficulty were AVs...and we did it before IOs came out. Another duo we did was a Dark Miasma/Elec Blast defender with a Gravity/Storm Controller...that pair was a bit slower, but once we got into the 30s it was another powerful combo with lots of debuff, lots of control and decent damage.

My search fu is always questionable, so if this is somewhere and I haven't been able to locate it, I apologize...

My main badger hero is also the leader of a SG. I have run the Tips missions and am currently a Vigilante. I am still leader of my Hero SG and can still access my Hero SG base, from vet reward porter and the portals in the Isles.

What exactly happens should I run more tip missions and become a Villain:

Will I get kicked out of my Hero SG, losing leadership rank?
Will I remain leader of the SG, but be unable to access the base?
Remain leader, still be able to access the base?
What about prestige?

If you team, how about an Earth/FF controller? My namesake is Earth/FF and I've not seen another in game. I say if you team though, because until you get Animate Stone at 32 you will have very little damage output. You're Shields buff the team's defense and your Earth gives -Def so your team can effectively fight higher level foes faster.

I was the leader of team #6 - I arrived late, there were only 2 pylons left, and by the time I got my team up to 4 members the first bombs were already planted. However, my team did manage to somehow get credit for two plants.

I tried to make my Global be the same as my main, but unfortunately my Global wasn't allowed to be the same as my account login, so I went with my second character, an Earth/FF controller.

I guess I just don't play enough... The most merits I have on any one character is about 350, and that is my main badger that I play the most. I know that if he hadn't been 50 already before merits came out, I wouild have had a lot more from the TFs and arcs I did along the way.

Sorry to Necro, but does anyone know yet if I put this Proc in Transfusion if the +End has a chance to hit:
1. Me only
2. Me+allies that are healed
3. The target of Transfusion

Looks like I won't be even trying my Kahn Tf either....got almost 2 feet of snow overnight last night, and it's still coming, so I will be busy shoveling out. Of course, no one responded with interest anyway.
