The Home of the Every Day Hero: A Lost Legacy

Years ago, when I first joined the game, I joined up with a Super Group called 'The Home of the Every Day Hero'. We weren't anything special, far from it. As a matter of fact, we were pretty average. There were only three of us who were very active.

Myself (Known then under the name/global name 'Warseige"), FerricGuy, and the SG leader, "Pyro Kinesis" (alias SOB Ronald, alias @Unknown User).

Eventually, they both left, and the HotEDH came under my leadership. Membership was almost nonexistent and I decided I wanted to step out and blaze my own path with a new Supergroup, "The Gangbusters". I coalitioned the HotEDH through some luck, but leaving took me on a long, long trip away from the place I always called 'Home'.

I've always been told that you can't go home again. And, as I stand now in their base by my old desk (Earmarked with a large, golden 'W') I wonder if that's true. I hope not, because I want to go home. I want to reclaim the legacy that FerricGuy, Pyro, and Myself created with the core values we lived by.

Loyalty, Honor, Friendship, Freedom, and Fun.

Now, from what I can gather, the membership is almost Zero. Somebody out there has to be the SL in that group, and I hope to find them. I don't want to take over the group. Far from it. I just want to reclaim my place as a member. To maybe help it climb back onto it's feet.

If you know anyone from this group, or know who I could get in contact with, please reply. It's very important to me that I am able to return, and to maybe help the HotEDH become a group again.

I just want to go home.

Last I heard, a leader left the game, closing the SG with it. You said that this may have been you. If you tell me when you left, I may be able to confirm this.

That was me, In fact. I did not close the group, I merely left. It was less than a year ago, I think, and about 6 or 7 months ago I ran into their then leader and formed a coalition. I have since forgotten the name.

I was In tbeir base last night, and Its still up and running. Somebody pays the rent. I just have to find out who. If I can do that, I can get Warseige back In the group, and from their, I can start getting the rest of my alts in.

Well it sounds like the SG will benefit from your presence. I imagine they would be glad to know someone missed the SG that much that they wanted to help it return to glory. I think out of the hundreds of people who have been in the SG I used to run, maybe two other people really care about it that much.

One of the first SGs I was in was made from a small group of players, all of which have now left the game at this point. I left the SG myself eventually, and I kind of regret it. Would be nice to have the SG if nothing else as a monument to what once was.

UPDATE:

I attempted to inquire to the CoH Support team, in a VERY long shot, if they could provide me with the global handle of the current Super Leader. Their suggestion was try and run into a player from the SG. So, the search continues!

No new news yet. I went into the HotEDH Base today and there is currently no power to any of the equipment, etc. I don't know if that means something changed inside or the rent is overdue. Either or, I'm going to keep posting, hoping someone will see this and provide me with some information.

Hey, Flarecrow. I was actually drafted into the SG you speak of sometime ago as a favor for a RL friend with my Warshade, Vexxus. I did take a little hiatus from March to October from the game due to failing computer issues but i believe I was actually leader at one point myself when I logged in for a bit during the summer. However I believe that upon logging in last week i was kicked out of the SG. If someone is actively running it, they have been since the summer and did a bit of "housecleaning" since. That person might still be on the global channel that was once active so that might be a place to look?

Hey, Vexxus, you were in the SG the same time I was. As a matter of fact, I believe that your office is right next to mine in the base.
