Theft of Essence: Chance for +Endurance
I thought all bonus's was only granted to the caster. so i guess this will be the answer
Nope, some bonuses are applied to the target, specificaly the Endmod the Col mentions.
As for this new one, I don't know, and haven't been able to find anything on the US site. Needs testing I guess.
I'm also not sure about the +to-hit procs. Do they work on activation, or does the power have to hit a target? If so, can you get a multiple buff from hitting multipe targets?
I really should do something about this signature.
my guess for the to hit is it would check for every target affected and applying a tohitbuff ala build up on you, only broken up in several parts.
It should give End to everyone healed as far as I know, since its a Heal effect primarily, in the same way that the Performance Shifter PROC will roll for anyone who's End it affects (enemies in the case of Short Circuit, Friends for Speed Boost / AM, self with Stamina).
Since enemies Health isn't affect by Twilight or the Kin heal they shouldn't get a PROC roll.
This is theory though, I don't have one to test with (donations welcome).
but kin/dark heal affects regen so that would make it do a check?

[/ QUOTE ]-regen debuff on both.
Sorry to Necro, but does anyone know yet if I put this Proc in Transfusion if the +End has a chance to hit:
1. Me only
2. Me+allies that are healed
3. The target of Transfusion
Unexplained Investigations Supergroup on VICTORY!
UI Cards
Snuph's Hero Helpers
It works on the player in Dark Regeneration but it doesn't proc quite nearly as much I think it should.
Friends don't let friends buy an ncsoft controlled project.
Who exactly does this give endurance to when used in powers like Twilight Grasp and Transference, and how much of it?
[Edit-Clarification] 1) Is this also bugged in the sense that it'll give endurance back to the targeted enemy like that one EndMod proc, or does it work properly? 2) Will it have a chance to give +end only to the caster, or everyone in the Heal radius? |
The Theft of Essence proc is totally different though. It is meant to go into an attack - that means that you will always be targeting an enemy with it. This proc is set to grant +End to the caster. That means that it will never affect an enemy, nor will it ever affect a teammate.
However, in a power like Transference, it will try to proc on you when you cast it, then when the pseudopet casts its power that causes the heal, the proc will try to fire on the pet. The second proc is useless, but that is how it works.
@Roderick
Performance Shifter isn't bugged. It works exactly as it is meant to: It gives Endurance to the target when it procs. In Stamina, the target is you. In Speed Boost, the target is your teammate. In Accelerate Metabolism, the targets are you and all nearby teammates. And in Lightning Bolt, the target is the enemy. Obviously, the proc wasn't intended to be used in attacks, even though it is possible to use it there.

The target of the lightning bolt shows up in the combat log as having received a transfusion, but if you watch their end bar, it doesn't look like it's moved at all, so I don't worry about giving end to my enemies. It's just unfortunate it doesn't give end to me. (I guess it would kind of break the game if it did, though, since I'd put it on all my attacks and never run out of end.)
