Back for xmas

Hello all. thought i would sign up for superhero duty again over xmas(while im off work) wondered if any old players who remember me are still active and want to team up a bit. not been on for about 2 years lol

thank you been wanting to know how to do that for ages now.

Well i just saw it in a shop and at the time i was playing a game called "freedom Force"a nd loved it so another hero game was more than welcome to my collection.
I didnt even know it was a online game at first as it was my first ever one and didnt even know they exsisted lol, was so supprised when i saw other people in game flying and jumping about

sorry for all the long links but i dont know how to rename them lol. its all a work in progress but though i would post a few pics up of what i done so far.

i seem ok untill i pull a mob in my missions and then i get crazy (like old hami raid) lag and its unplayable anyone else having this prob today?

LR or SD does knock down unless they are much lower lvl than you so no need for knockback protect on the nme really even though it is still a nice dot from the cages.
I picked soul patron instead as the -tohit from darkest night and the aoe dark blast really helps.
i start a fight like this

darkest night
dark oblitaration
build up
Light rod
Shield charge
thunder strike.

Most are dead by then anyway if not the way im slotted does not take long for the combo to charge again.

Also i did have aid self to lvl up with but dont find a use for it now tbh so i got tough and weave instead also dropped jacobs ladder too as just dont need it in my attack chain at all.
Didnt ever pick taunt as i find against all odds works fine as a aggro power(great for herding)
I dont really need 1 with the sheild but it does come in handy for them rare occasions i suppose.
I also have a ss/wp brute and i actully find i can do the same farm mission 6 mins quicker with the elec/shield as he over all just does more damage to them and is even easier to survive with, but he is well slotted and has 40% def ish to all positions.
I never run out of stamina even with all them toggles running where i find stamina a real pain on my ss/wp with all the rage crashes hasten etc.

Just my opinion

Will post my build sometime but its not quite finished yet as im kinda just slotting as i go at the mo.

How is Oro a good way to get them?
you mean go back and do arcs again?

are the any Tf or SF's what give loads of these? i am lvl 38 and only have 43 of them so far and i have been trying to do all my arcs i come accross.
I read on forums how some people have over 1000 of these.
Im prob more interested villain side but would like info for both if possible.

what about incredible pryo? he was a legend in his own way(well everyone knew of him) lol

oh and if i ever disapear from a team or whatever its because i have dc probs atm and dont know what it is.(i have poste3d prob in tech issues thread)

Some players i used to love playing with are

(all of Agency SG) Was my home while i leveled my first 50

(all of paragon allstars SG)used to team with members alot and was always great.

Baff(for his funnyness)

The proffeser(one of the best players i ever seen and leader of "the paragon allstars"

Shannon(a real good friend and first person i ever teamed with in coh and still do now, takes a bit of understanding but once you do she is ok lol)

Bumberclot(agency member but we did team almost every day and inspired me for my fire/ice tank)

Spines(another great player with plenty of kindness to give out)

lady squeek(just a random guy but lovable)

Battle medic(always there to help at stupid hours in the morning.

Max powers(another very nice guy to team with)

Pink pussycat(very sweet person)



Now i started i keep thinking of any many others and dont want to offend by not listing anyone lol so im going to stop now.

i dont get any system message at all when i come back to my desktop after i am forced to close coh from tack manager plus coh is the only program running on the manager too.
yesterday i didnt have any problems at all and played for hours with no dc's tried again this morning and i cant stay online for more than 10 mins ish again.

Hello to anyone who might know me.
Just to say im back to coh after a long long break and loving every min of it(apart from dc's)

ok another update which im not sure if its related or not.
i get to server select screen and can get to char select fine on all servers apart from union.
it just kinda thinks a bit then i get a message "cant connect to Db server" then it takes me back to where you enter your password.
all other servers work fine its just union i cant get on now.
on and earlier i was able to play for a good few hours without a dc to black screen so it seems random for some reason.

Just to add i can play "AOC" and TR with no probs at all as I tried these for a test both on max settings etc.

Ok went to change sli settings and it was off anyway lol

i also had something called "phyxs GPU accelertion" turned on so i disabled that too.

Same thing just happened though after about 10 mins of playing i got black screen again.

So i guess this is a vista prob? shame as there is not much i can do about that lol.

yes i am in sli mode and running vista 32.

I dont get any error messages at all just flickes to a black screen and my mouse pointer turns to the coh loading sigh( circle pointer) then i have to "ctrl alt delete" as nothing else happens and then i get a flicker of a grey screen before it then takes me to my task manager where it says "coh not responding" so then i just end the task.
i have up to date drivers for my cards.

this happened before issue 13 also.

I will turn sli off to see if that makes a difference.

hello can anyone help. i have just started playing cox again but am having a crash every 10 mins ish.
screen turns to a black one and i get a loading sign and cant do anything else apart from "ctrl atl delete" to my task manager which then tells me coh is not responding.

I have a good set up and have no problems with any other game at all.

pc is one above but i have upgraded ram to 4 gig and i have vista32.

all are lvl 50 and on heros side(union server) i must have a few of every type but loads of dam/acc dam/range and dam/mez.

does anyone like these over Io's at all? i have not played for months and come back and i have about 80 of these to play with.
