The Player Event Resource Committee (PERC) is proud to present:
Victory Over Hamidon!!!

 Hosted by PERC Reps: Madame Pistacio, Arkyaeon, & Medieval Power





WHAT: A weekly themed Hamidon raid on the Victory Server. Each week will have a different theme.
WHO: Anyone with a level 45-50 character. A good mix of level 50s are preferred.
 WHERE: The Hive (off Eden, which is off Founders Falls), we will form teams at the entrance.
 WHEN: Every Saturday at 9pm est, starting December 4th! (We will take off for Holidays)
 WHY: To kick some jello butt, get awesome rewards, and have a blast! (and of course prizes!)


 Other Details
 -Each week there will be a new theme for the raid announced, anyone who participates in the theme will be eligible for a random prize drawing!
 -Rewards options for defeating Hamidon include: 4 shards, 1 Hamidon Enhancement, or 53 merits.
 -Shards will drop from Hamidon/Mitos so having your Alpha Slot unlocked is recommended.
 -Please be on time as the Hive has a capacity of 50 people.
 -All raids will be Blueside for now, if there is enough interest, we will add Redside raids.
 -There is now a hospital and inspiration dealer inside the zone.

Hey Victory

So exact strategy breakdown will happen at the Raid, but here is some important info:

  • Nucleus(big center purple/pink think): Hamidon
  • Yellows: Mitochondria Antibodies
  • Blues: Mitochondria Electrolytes
  • Greens: Mending Mitochondria

4 different team types:
  • Taunt Team
    • This team is in charge of keeping the big blasts (yellow & hami) off everyone else. Tanks & Brutes with taunt, an occasional scrapper (maybe), and 1-2 support(emp/pain etc) fill this team.
  • Yellow Team
    • Also know as Melee DMG - In charge of killing the yellows - Consists of all Melee AT: scrapper,brute,stalker...etc -- 1-2 support AT is fine too
  • Assault Team
    • This is everyone else, Control and Ranged DMG -- In charge of killing blues while Melee kills yellows
  • Overflow Team
    • Catch all team -- For when other teams fill and not enough specifics to make another -- Members will do what they normally if they were on their specific team (melee dmg on yellows, ranged on blues -- etc)
We will form up teams as people arrive. Good way to get noticed is when you zone in - Broadcast - your AT and possibly powerset.

Bring the inspiration [Essence of the Earth] IF you got it - otherwise its okay
Bring a raptor pack if you don't like jumping up and down or don't have fly to hit something - trust me its useful.

If my schedule allows, I'll be at as many of these as possible. Just to get more familiar with the Hami Raid that we have been neglecting for so long.

Regular Saturday Hami runs, to go with Regular Sunday Ship Runs? Then maybe Regular Friday CoP Runs?

Don't really have any pink characters, and was wanting to run at least the Apex TF tonight. Will try to do it beforehand, I guess.

If I wsan't babysitting the nieces I would love to try this....its been a loooooong while since I took part in a Hami Run. Consequently I am also heading out of town for 3 weeks for the hollidays........ :/

Guess that's a long winded way to say hopefully I catch this in the new year.

That was awesome! We definitely had Victory Over Hamidon tonight!!!!

We were a bit slow to start (needed more people) but once we did there was no stopping us! We did an evacuation-free raid and had NO resets or wipes! This is unbelievable considering we had so few EoEs because Hami spawned from only 4 GM kills!

I saw a lot of people who were "Pretty in Pink!" which was tonight's theme.

Winners: Warchicken (lotg +rech), Et Tut Brute? (celerity +stealth), Wasteland Justice (100mill)

There were many shards to be had (some people got enough for a whole alpha enhancement!), 53 merits were a popular choice, and a lot of people picked the Hami-O reward, and got some great ones!

Darn, wish my Dual Pistols Blaster was at 50, but he's 35. Guess I'll have to make western work for someone else, if I feel up for it next Saturday. It was fun joining in for the last 20 minutes, so thanks for letting me join in.

What did we have more of on Saturday? I can bring a Blaster next week, or my Earth/Storm Controller. Not sure which would be more help.

As one of the melee people, my take on it was we had enough for one melee team, one taunting team, and the rest were ranged. The yellows went down really fast since we focused on those.

We could use more emps(#1) and pain doms! Having +regen is really important to be able to run a non-evac raid. We could also use more holds, so dominators and controllers (or even ice blasters) would be nice.

I really do think the raid was very successful, just having more bodies there in general will help

definitely needed more holds, we had what, 3 controllers and a dom or two? If that?

This also means elec or ice blasters would be helpful since they can blast and hold more than other sets (preferably ice, though... lolelec).

As has been said... we just needed moar bodies for the miscellaneous team.

I was just naming a few sets/ATs (I know there are more) that had two or more holds. Dark Miasma has only one as I recall :P without bouncing into a mastery. Any holds are good Not prejudiced.

And not for anything, but can use more PBs and WSs too... there I said it! :P
