PERC Presents: Victory Over Hamidon Saturdays 9pm est!

Got in on the second run of this tonight as The Hive was full when I finished up on a speedy LGTF.

I haven't done one of these in years, since the change to the format but as how this was alot of fun and well organized I hope I can make it more often. Props to the raid leaders even it was abit of a wait due to dc'ing issues.

Just wanted to pass on my admiration to how smooth the run was from from a long time absentee.

Yup, these are quite nice. I remember the raids way back when, and I could never quite figure out what was going on. These are pretty nice for new and experienced people.

Though there are still those random geniuses with pets running about, even though everyone shouts out to dismiss them. Heh.

Really? You like having a huge row of mastermind bots in your face when you are trying to hand out awards?

Heh, I wasn't aware they weren't wanted out for the oil patch stuff. I'm always thinking about the aggro kind of things, and I know how random pets can be... though hopefully a couple pets here or there aren't going to pull aggro off of tank or brute taunting. Probably me being overly cautious.

Thinking about it, I really don't think I would want to bring an MM on a Hami raid. Pets were always a nightmare on any ship raids I joined in on. Hami could be better if aggro is under control, but still. All that needed re-summoning, blech.

In two weeks (3/19) we will be trying a red side Hami raid (in the Abyss). So if you have a favorite villain, they can participate! If you are blue only, you have plenty of time to take a character to vigilante.

Sweet. I was just about to suggest doing this redside every other week, or at least once a month. My Stalker is totally in and ready to help drop the yellows ASAP.

Wish I had known about the Toga theme sooner. Spring Fling is done today, and my one character with Togas unlocked is on another server now. Do Centurion outfits count?

Wait. Forgot my Peacebringer has a Toga outfit, AND he is working on his Alpha still. I'm good. Might be worth finding out about centurion stuff for everyone else, though.

Any good looking Romanesque costume is fine... but Togas are the best!


As for red side, I thought Gris and I had decided that I would host blue, he would host red. But I think maybe I decided that in my head and never talked to Gris about it lol. So we'll try it this one time and see how it goes. I am personally not really interested in running them on red side, but I know a lot of people are so in the words of Lin: "I'm gamey for it."

I'm not a huge redside player myself, but I thought it would be good to spread out the event at least a little.

My Peacebringer is all set for Saturday: I'll make sure he's wearing the toga.

We had two great back to back runs this Saturday. After those runs my Emp had enough shards to craft a very rare Probably 90% of his total shards came from these Hami runs - and that's with me mostly picking an HO for the reward, hehe.

Tonight's Hami Raid theme is "Springtime Pastel."


I'll be attempting to run this hami raid in league format and I will mix teams to get maximum shardage for all. The hami taunt team and yellow taunters will be group on their own though for ease.

I should actually be present for this, if the SacBros are willing to participate.

Should be on Ele, as usual.
