Before the last announcement of awards I couldn't imagine anything else that could be given to us as a vet reward that wasn't another token for this or that. Then they told us about city traveller and reveal and I loved it! (I now find I have to use reveal to see all the map, it just seems wrong not to)
You think they are running out of ideas for rewards, but I fail to see upon what basis you have founded that presumption. Just because *I* can't think of anything else doesn't mean that someone else, especially someone else who has been planning this for a long time (or at least has had a long time to plan it) doesn't have any ideas as the previous paragrph demonstrates.
As for should there be a finite end to vet rewards... I am not sure. I can almost see peoples point of 'but then there will be ten months of vet rewards I can never get' but my cynical self suggests that the cry in that case would transform into 'how come the vet rewards no longer reward vets?'.
I colour myself undecided on that score. -
You mean I discover I have a surprise afternoon off only to find the servers are down for a patch?

This game is too easy; I am a professional musician and know hundreds of songs off by heart. The tricky bit will be coming up with songs that other people may have heard of.

I do a similar thing with my two accounts.
Most of my main account is one family. Father, mother and numerous children and a couple of ancillaries. The second account contains some relations (like children of children etc.) but some of my favourites aren't part of the family at all.
I have a plant/storm troller called light fairy who duos about with a sonic/something called light fairy pet. I look forward to the time when both accounts have the vet buff pet so I can have 4 light fairies hovering about.
I also have 2 Huntsmen; Rosy Dawn and the Evil Daystar. Each of them are attracted to each other but lack the emotional ability to express this so instead they machinegun hoards of people and laugh together.
One of my favourite memories of dual-boxing was when I somehow managed to get both accounts on to a Cap SF. We were the cave mission with all the CoT and the team suffered an almost complete wipe. All that was left were my two dominators. The cheers of appreciation from the carpet-gazers as I finally mopped up the last of them was very pleasing.

I found an interesting distraction when I was growing weary of soloing was to get a second account on a second computer and try and play them both at the same time. The increase in concentration it takes (for some pairings of characters) has seen me through a couple of times when I lacked my usual enthusiasm for the game.

Surely, if you like playing in teams then NOT getting GR would limit your opportunities further as a goodly number of people will rush off and get Going Rogue and start playing in the new zones, creating big teams and playing through the new content which you have vowed not to get and will remain in the 'original' zones while, dare I say, most people enjoy the new experience.
Perhaps your plan is to try and persuade all EU members to suddely think 'by golly he's right, let us all not buy GR so we can still play together' as, failing this, you might find that the teams you may get on have to drop you as they decide to 'go rogue' which you can't do because you have declared your intention not to buy GR.
I realy doubt that we will get a server list merge in the short term as welcome as that move would be. I have no reason for this opinion, I just doubt it will happen soon. That allows you to have two options; buy GR and follow the teaming there or don't and see the number of teams drop and come back on the forums to complain about it.
Also, I doubt there are only 30 people playing on Union as that would mean this morning I played with almost a quarter of the entire union population at one time before going on to play with another quarter of them when I changed character. -
The vast majority of my characters are named after the days of the week.
If you see a character on Union whose name contains a day of the week, there is a reasonable chance that it will be me.
Oh, and my second account is called 'Nights'
...I don't have a great imagination when it comes to names. Obviously. -

I have never given up on a character and regretted it as there are always more characters to roll and even starting an identical character can prove a different experience.
Does the question need to be about CoX... or should that be CoH... or even CoH/V? -

That is a good point, I do indeed have that proc slotted in it. I must just be very lucky with my proc hits

I thought I read somewhere that surveilance doesn't cause you any aggro yet if I use it I am immediately attacked.
Am I doing something wrong or misinterpreting something or just plain making things up again?
