This my friends is what is known as the double nut shot.
Its also STUPID! -
Quote:Strategic use of KB is AWESOME. KM is a GREAT set and is a set that with proper use of the power siphon>torrent>burst can KO many a mob in the game.As the subject suggests: is knockback underrated?
Were an outsider to peruse the forums, they'd emerge with the consensus that knockback is universally reviled. But is that truly representative? Are there any KB lovers?
I know I don't mind some strategically placed knockback. Kinetic melee's much maligned repulsing torrent is one of my favourite powers. Mitigation + AoE damage on an AoE-light set. Yet most guides recommend to skip - purely because of the KB.
KM is just a wonderful set if used properly. -
I have a Fire/Time and Elec/Time. I don't want to say it but I have too, Fire/Time is measurably more fun for me.
-
Great as long as this is not gated behind yet another type of in-game currency that they nerf the ability to obtain.
-
Another person trying to get something nerfed in COX? Nah say it ain't so.....

Quote:Yeah but it's on Beta right now, If you ask me it's a good thing, it's the only way too stop AE Farming on bigger Server like Freedum and Virtue. Plus people keep lvling in Ae and not learning how to play this game and we really don't want more AE Noob around.
Once again no its not. You have to realize that this was anticipated and there are several other style farms already in use by real farmers. -
Fighting purples and reds with TO's or DO's at that level with few powers is not something that makes sense to me. The amount of time spent traveling after the multiple team wipes is not made up by the "great xp" and its not fun seeing miss miss miss...
-
Interface improvements have been requested for AE since day one. Maybe in a year or two they will get around to fixing it.
I think the devs went WAY too far with the way they rolled out AE with "specialty" stuff like Dev Choice and HOF type categories. It certainly gave most people an unrealistic expectation that people would flock to "their" mission vs the "other" guys missions and promotes story arc ego inflation among those creators prone to that mentality.
It did nothing but promote player vs player competition and the star system is broken and basically facilitates down ranking like no other I have ever seen. -
It would be nice if these arcs for sale scaled to your level like the events.
-
LOL at this thread. I went away for a couple of years only to come back to the same garbage hate and inflated sense of value of "my story" arc stuff that we had back then. I see some of the same players as well.
COMEDY! -
I already made my feelings on the pulse that bypasses everything in the Keyes trial known. For those that missed it I think it sucks warm donkey balls.
I hate the gimmick feel of a lot of these final conflict missions in the game, but TOTALLY understand and respect the devs dilemma and why they are there. Shrug. -
Quote:Fire/Time corruptors are very very nasty and fun to play.Been playing my Fire/Time Corr a lot these past few days.
Verdict: Time is good. Really, really good. Even without PB Farsight.
Distortion Field, (what I first thought would be one of the stinkers in the set), is a wonderful trick with 5 Unbreakable Constraints and a Lockdown proc in it. The real hold in the power itself is nothing to write home about, but that token hold opens up a wonderful world of slotting shenanigans.
Time Crawl is probably my least used power. With DF and TJ going, I never touch Time Crawl except for AVs. In which case I use it in conjunction with Time Stop, but the -regen is still a little weak for my tastes.
I can forgive that though, given the rest of the set is so good.
I mean uh, this set is garbage. I'm a VIP and this is what I get? What a slap in the face, et cetera. -
Fire/Time corruptors are sick. Kind of reminds me of my Fire/Dark. You guys should try that combo you won't regret it.
-
I suppose that could be said about anything Bill. However since you were in the Kheld forums a couple of years ago when the first changes were made, I am sure you remember that what I said was accurate. This obviously does not mean that there are not people that like/liked being turned into a bubble.
-
Quote:Server mergers is not a fair comparison.Your point? People have been asking for server mergers for years, too.
Beyond that the point is, it did not come from nowhere is was one of the longtime requests of many Kheld players in the Kheld forum and was missed do to the nature of the costume change coding the last go around on Kheld changes made about two years ago.
Most people giving direct player feedback to the devs back then were not liking the bubble, not seeing their costume and most importantly not having the power for all forms like eclipse for Warshades. -
There are those that asked for the Lightform change and have been for YEARS.

Just back a month after playing for three years then taking a two year break. Been running Incarnate trials non-stop and I can tell you no the trials are not too easy for the average pick up group period end of discussion.
This after having played with just about every combo of AT and player experience level ie. 50 and 50 +++.
It basically comes down to good teamwork for the trials. If its not there I don't care if "everyone" is 50+++ it can and will still fail, I have seen it happen more than once. I have also seen just alpha slot 50's do them all well and it all came down to teamwork period end of discussion.
Now continue on with your debate -
Your anchor in the trials is the AV and in groups its the strongest foe. If your anchors are dying too fast then you are most likely not anchoring the correct foe.
-
I just use binds that toggle my of my human stuff on.
-
They are both good, but Killing AV's/Heroes easier is the domain of the Bots/Traps MM.
-
-
My Ill/Rad is a great team player for debuffs and is a BEAST at killing AV's...an absolute BEAST!. Perma PA has its benefits.

Hi guys been away a couple of years taking care of other stuff. Upon return to the game I see many many changes and mainly improvements to the game overall.
I am pleased to hear about the new changes coming and look forward to more Kheldian goodness in the future. Nice to see the devs revisiting the AT and providing the changes presented.
The lightform carry over to Nova and White Dwarf and eclipse like timing changes are welcomed as well as the reduced time for the seekers.
There are a couple of Mez heavy groups I'd like to see again with my new build.
