Well I made the choice of forcing him to go when I knocked him out. I didn't do all that work for nothing you getting out like you said you were.
  4. I'll throw out a */energy dom might work for range since it has what 2 melee attacks compared to the rest assault sets. Maybe mind/energy nice contol and range dmg that has KB in it to keep baddies away.
  5. Quick question I know this ain't the blaster section but did the blaster version of these 2 powers get the buff too?
  6. Hello I'm building a fire/kin to do some farming with and would like some input into this build I made in mids. I went for S/L soft cap and rech. Tired not to use the super costly IOs like purples the lotg and heal set +rec be the hardest for me to get either through merit rolls or just saving enough inf to buy them. Thanks for any and all input.

  7. Heres a good one you can't use the cyborg upper legs on monsterous legs either. Found that out when making a robot character that was gonna use the lower monsterous robot legs but couldn't use cyborg upper.
  8. Hello all I have a DB/EA brute in the mid 20's that I plan to reroll in Praetoria and then I got to thinking maybe he should be a stalker. The character is a super soldier cybernetics made for heavy combat and assassinations. Its why I chose EA for the stealth power in his concept for the character. I haven't played a stalker very high and was wondering if DB/EA stalker would work for the character or I should stick to the brute?

If you have so much trouble accepting Reichsman how do you accept the Rikti since they come from a world that diverged enough that humans are psychic mutants.
  11. What would you consider your primary and go with that would be as your origin. An example would be character Fire/invul scrapper with flight. Character has high tech gauntlets that lets him create and shape fire.(tech) While he was at work a trey of chemical broke and got all over him making his skin tough.(science) His ability to fly he has always since a young child been able to levitate and fly. (mutant) Origin I went with is Tech because that is what his primary is.

    Graphics Problem

Need help figuring out what is going on with the game. About 30min to an hour of play the graphics start to mess up mostly inside missions but sometime out side too. Here is a pic I took when it happen. If I log all the way out of the game and then log back in the game is fine for a while then is screws up again.

    Merc/?

Plan to re-roll my merc/traps mm but cant decided to go pain or thermal or stay traps. Any suggestions and pros cons to the sets would be a lot of help.

    Can you do it?

Spoiler for the new story arcs:

In the first mission of the second story arc you can test and fight clones of yourself.

Can anyone solo 8 clones of themselves on there MM in the new story arcs?

I tried it on my DS/Poison MM lvl 30 ya I got torn apart then watched as the ones that hadn't summon yet start to summon all the demons.
  16. Hell on Earth gives your demon a +dmg and +to-hit bonus for i think 90 sec and every few sec a hellfire imp will spawn and hang around for 90sec too
  17. Did he prepurchase going rogue? Only those that have done that can use the new powersets
  18. I'm going DS/Poison concept is the character is a alchemist and the demons aren't demons but Homuculi that he creates.

I'm serious, go try it yourself. Create a test mission and choose for example Skulls and defeat one in AE and then defeat the same Skull at the same level on the streets. You'll find at least a 10% difference lower in AE. It's not even worth it anymore.

You can thank all of those farmers for that one.
I did just do this and there was no xp drop you must have had patrol xp since it doesn't count in AE.
  20. If you have the day job temp power for staying in the Vangaurd base when you log off you get a merit at the end of each mission.

    Ice Storm
    Blaze
    Ignite
    Blizzard

    Charged Brawl
    Build Up
    Targeting Drone
    Conserve Power
    Drain Psyche
    Power Boost
    Power Sink
    Psychic Shockwave

....no, that wouldn't be brokenly overpowered at all. I built that using the power choices at each level, which is the most logical way to do something like that.

    A Scrapper

    Scorch
    Storm Kick
    Cremate
    Build Up
    Thunder Strike
Confront (every scrapper set has this at level 12)
    Fire Sword Circle
    Dragon's Tail
    Lightning Rod

    High Pain Tolerance
    Reconstruction
    Quick Recovery
    Indomitable Will
    Against All Odds
    Energize
    Lightning Reflexes
    Shield Charge
    Elude

Can you imagine the farmer this would be?

Just an illustration of the problems inherent free form power selection.
Using this way of making a character i did a defender primary here is what i created

    Twilight Grasp
    Tar Patch
    Darkest Night
    Enervating Field
    Freezing Rain
    Fearsome Stare
    Disruption Arrow
    Oil Slick Arrow
    Heat Loss

Its not much on support but -res debuff and oil slick to melt anything in the death pool that this would create.
