Demon Summoning MM, Fun, Fun!

So this past Saturday Morning I decided it was time to start-up a Demon Summoning MM. I went with Dem/TrkArrow. I have to say, after watching others with there Demons running around going rampant, I knew I had to start one up and see what all the fuss was about. So far, I am loving the effects of these guys. Especially when you summon them up from the gates of Hell!..hehe.

Well, as of this morning (Monday) I got her up to level 16 and have the two Demonlings and one Demon. After looking at Paragonwiki, they didn't have the descriptions yet as to what all theses powers do. I already have a level 50 MM Bots/Traps. It seems the set-up here is almost the same for a total of 5 pets? I put a question mark there because based on what the icons describe, it shows "Hell on Earth" with 4 pets on the button. I am not sure what "Hell on Earth" does? Not sure if this is an added power to the Demons or a separate group of small pets?

If anyone has the breakdown on what all these powers do, it would be nice to have until wiki can update their end.

Hell on Earth gives your demon a +dmg and +to-hit bonus for i think 90 sec and every few sec a hellfire imp will spawn and hang around for 90sec too

Onibi---Fire/Fire/fire Blaster

I'm ready to burn it all.

I'm enjoying DS/DM, and I can say, for /DM anyways (imo), it's better to put Hell on Earth off, instead of taking it at lvl 18.

It's a fun power, it's a useful power, but /DM has more useful powers that (again imo) are better to grab before HoE.

I'd probably say the same is true for alot of the other secondaries as well.

I'm running a DS/DM (/Pain is just NOT me, I've discovered) and oh gods, you're right. I'm only at 12 but I should be considering this Fearsome Stare vs. Hell on Earth, right then...I'm assuming HoE needs recharge like Gang War.

Where do you think it can be fit in?

Currently playing:
The Domestic: Broom/WP
Shadowhex: Dark Control/Dark Affinity
Defenestration Lass: Grav/Kin

Hell on earh is great for solo'ing. I to am DS/DM only level 34 right now but the helfire imps do a great job of holding agro off of you and your demons. Plus they allow you to use the recharge intinsive procs and it is up 2-3 times a mission. Heck on the aura mission I died with 2 CoT left and the Imps finished the mission for me. They also last much longer than 90 seconds I am not sure if this WAI or not.

Hell on Earth is great once you get 3 recharge slotted. Out of the box it ends up being an "oh crap" button due to it's long recharge. The pets it spawns are essentially tiny Fire Imps (like the fire control power).

Haven't gotten my 2nd tier 2 demon or my 3rd tier demon yet, but the 3rd tier 1 (hellfire imp) has the same effects as your whip attacks fire/toxic with -res debuff. Honestly the -Res in the hellfire attacks and the whip attacks is this set shines best, the bonus fire and ice damage from other pets is just icing on the cake.

quick lowdown of what I know my current pets are doing with first upgrade:
- Fiery Imp; fire shield, 2 fire ranged attacks, claw attack
- Ice Imp; ice shield, 2 Ice attacks, claw attack
- Hellfire imp; fire shield?, 2 hellfire (fire/toxic -res) attacks, claw attack
- Fiery Demon; fire shield, casts Ember shield on player and other pets, Fire breath, fire blast, Cauterize (heal other pet)

EDIT: running as DS/Thermal here. at lvl 24 currently.

I was suffering through a bad case of CoH/V burnout and even left the game a couple of times this past year. Then, along came Demon Summoning. DS has breathed new life into the game for me.

Running a DS/DM that is currently at level 23 and enjoying every minute of it!
