*le sigh*
I get it, but as long as these remain on the left coast I am just never gonna make it... -
Even the longest barely interrupts the button mashing.
Kids these days... so impatient.

Quote:I could not disagree more. Passionately.Ice blast for corruptors defenders and blasters need some love. For so long this class has been weakest out the damage roles.
Here is a few suggestions.......
1. Take away 1 of the holds and give it an AoE.
eg....bitter ice ball (same sort of thing as fire ball)
2. Fix bitter ice blast, give it some more range and damage.
3. Fix the PvP damages, ice blast has been unplayable in pvp since issue 12.
Ice is, according to every blast damage discussion for years, very competitive. In addition, it has excellent mitigation in it's slows and holds - so much so that leveling one pretty much broke controllers for me.
That said, ice blast has nothing to do with I22.

Hey!
How come my partial levels never round up?!?
Hax! -
Quote:And that is a very suitable suggestion.I've been suggesting that the generic hero statue in the middle of the lake in the Promethus Park district of Atlas Park should be changed to one of Statesman - put a plaque by it with info on Statesman, and maybe a little bridge across to it from the shore, or an eye-catching NPC near it, to get the attention of new players, as they're already sent to that area by Matthew Habashy.
I think that it'd be a great way of honoring him, and of helping to draw newer players into the game lore. -

Carnival pieces, particularly the female/masks elements, are something that players have asked for years to see. We get it now, and along with some of the most striking elements of the CoL's additional pieces. I am not prepared to look that gift horse in the mouth and whine.
I agree, firmly, that the Devs should perhaps slow down a tad and think more about the players' costume desires for broad cross model applicability (pre-tinting, gender/size). I do believe they are doing that now, and I accept that this set was in the pipeline prior to recent methodology changes. I will not ding them for that timing issue either. -

I don't care at all, now that they told me ahead of time.
And I don't trust them to leave the event with the proper emotional power such a move would deserve. The Well will revive him or some such silliness. -
Quote:I would caution that going down this path threatens to re-open the great pre-tinting debate.
It wouldn't be possible to do this with all the costume pieces; most of them don't have an appropriate division like this. But for the ones that do, doing this would create new visuals for the costume pieces without requiring huge amounts of art department time.
However, it does still require work on their part to copy the costume pieces and rework their coloring this way, so whether it does get done depends on their other workload and how many people would want something like this.
It is not a bad suggestion, IMO, as long as all three options become available. -
Quote:Then you'd be very much incorrect. Golden Age is from the earliest comics of the '30s to the mid '50s, generally recognized as ending with the first "reimagining" of a Golden Age hero. The new version of DC Comics' Flash first appeared in Showcase comics #4, October 1956.
The Silver Age is generally agreed to have lasted from then until about 1970, when the general message of selfless heroism and confidence started to be replaced by heroes with problems and self-doubt.
No, I'd be... spot on then.
I said Silver/Gold from start (earliest comics of the '30s to the mid '50s) to early 70s (from then until about 1970)...
I meant no apparent definition in the minds of those posting, getting back to Zombie's observation. -
Quote:Absolutely.A major thing would be to have spandex and masks not look like they were painted on - actaully giving them an edge to make it look like they were separate from out bodies would be great.
Quote:Another thing would be to have an option for the classic white eyes on the masks, rather than the more realistic eye holes.
Quote:In my opinion, we're missing a lot of basic options.
Things like textures. A good example are the new CoT tights. They have a really defined texture, but the 'spikes' on it prevent it form being used for tights. If that makes sense.
Not every hero wears skin painted suits... but that is basically what we have as primary option if going for tights. The last superman, Watchmen, Captain America, spiderman movies.... all give a sense of 'material' to their uniforms.[/QUOTE]
Quote:And I remember this idea being made by someone awhile ago, but more cape mantles that could be placed into the Shoulders category.
Quote:The biggest thing I want are face masks that don't look painted on.
You know... 1) this mask is really cool.... 2) it inspires me to think (and not sure it is silver/gold related) that a blank carnie mask that would take face/mask patterns would be very, very popular
Quote:From looking at the examples in this thread, I have ascertained that "Golden/Silver Age" look means anything ever done in a comic book from 1920 to now, with the exception of the mod, mullet, disco look of the 70's.
For me, pretty firmly from start of comics to early 70s.... -
I thought Synapse owned up to this already...

Quote:No you haven't.Well I missed the celestial set. There's no way outside of shelling out the cash right now which I do not have to grab the Celestial set. Well, time to wait until it cycles over.
I would have it if you got the reward tokens in advance for multi-month subscriptions however.
Both sets are available as options.
Think that I read that Celestial will remain until what ever comes next comes. -
I'd suggest turning off Cloak of Darkness so we can get a better look at the Dark/Dark build.....

yes
Quote:I read all the numbers (some of which mean nothing to me!-ha), but I am wondering what the experience is like for those that play it now.
And, for me, EA is just fine in the fun department. Feels about right for durability (layered with a heal to back up the def), has some nice visual elements (especially with KM).

Quote:Yep, all they really need is a 'magical' set of animations for the powers. There's enough powers in Co* to call it Sorcery if you just color it and imagine it to be so. Mind and Psi come to mind right off, as well as storm, grav, kin, etc... they're all there, all magically conjurable. Just add bio/RP.
I've always said that origin and animation options could synch up really nicely. -
Chyll himself himself (started circa I7) is still in game, and while I do not necessarily play him regularly - he does get a spin around the block on occasion, including being my first or second to get incarnated and trialed up, etc. etc.
I still have his first costume in one of his slots, and Build 1 on him is his first (and never respec'd) leveling build - mostly SOs, with some IOs (though he fights crime using Build 2 99% of the time).
That said, my current primarily played characters are a lvl 50 SR/StJ tank and a 40ish DA/StJ scrapper as I (oh, so patiently) await Dark Control. -

Not when the moving target dies as fast as they do.

Shrug, sorry, I disagree that the idea is worthy.
