Why are all the dev posts being sent to various gaming sites?
Breakdown of Alignments 51% Hero 26% Villain 10% Vigilante 13% Rogue
So overall some statistics.. some stuff we've seen a dozen times and umm... No carrots? No hints about the future?
C'mon Positron is in charge of the End Game surely he's the one to release a carrot or two... -
Every time I see this post get replies I think ooh alphas and then I am sad because they're not done yet

Quote:Valid point. What's wrong with forum PMs thoughI recommend removing your globals from your sig then. I consider that an invitation to talk to you in game. And since the invitation is being given to me from the forums, I'd feel free to talk to you about forum posts.

I agree with the rest of your post except for this.

MA: nope, nope
Missions: works but nope.
Soloing: no comment I hate soloing.
Global channels are the answer to the rest of your questions. Head down to your server's forum and check out what global channels they use. -
<nitpick>
I understand the keeping his arms and legs so that it actually looks like Bender... but at the same time doing that makes it look nothing like a transformed car. -

I took a look as I myself have a Fire/Dark which I was recently seeking advice on. First two things I notice: Howling Twilight isn't just a Rez, its a stun. A Very good one at that. It is underslotted. Likewise a corruptor with a heal that affects themself doesn't need to build for regen I'd drop the regen tissue, the Heal IO and leave health as Numina++, Miracle + and Miracle heal.
I feel like you under-slotted Shadow Fall as well but I know some just throw a lotg in and call it good. -

Quote:Nope, shard TFs require simulclick glowies.I successfully solo'd my first TF last night and was filled with self pride. (It was only the Positron TF but I was proud nonetheless
). After reading the boards I see that many people have succeeded in soloing higher end TF's as well, and this got me to the question: Would it be possible, given the right build and unimited funds, to solo from 1-50, doing every TF along the way without ever joining a team? If so, what AT/powerset would be ideal? Not that I want to undertake such a task, I'm just curious if it has/can be done.

Welcome to the madness that is Justice. as I mentioned in your team dynamics thread most of us hang out in Justice United and/or JFA2010.
Things we're famous for: weekly (often multiple times per week) Hamidon Raids( a lvl 45+ zone wide event in the Hive)
Ditto with Mothership raids.
So yes, enjoy the game and welcome back. -
Ooh another member of our insanity.
If you haven't already *checks oh, you have * Nvm this thought continuing on..
I'd suggest joining JFA2010 and Justice United. JU bills itself a family channel and is heavily moderated while JFA nearly anything flies. both of these are the two main global channels (/chanjoin "Justice United" /chanjoin JFA2010)
There are others but they're private.
So yeah, come hang out with us, I promise we're not completely insane. -
I love the Wentworth's Teleporter. I probably use it MORE than Ouroboros these days.

Quote:As one of the testers/abusers of that but I beg to differ.Short answer: Random is random.
Long answer: Used to be a bug where you could determine when the next drop was a purple on a specific mission/map/mob but that was an exploit and now it is fixed. Unless it wasn't fully fixed. So now it's pretty random.
There was no way to know what would be rolled just the category.
in 30 seconds I could guarantee 2 enhancements, 3 recipes and 6 salvage from the map. there was no knowledge of which would drop.
Also in regards to super luck there could actually be 24 shards dropped.
we have accounts of a single mob dropping 3. -
Quote:I love the hami power it looks awesome.I don't know if the pylons have an effect on Hami. Content-wise... they do. They're responsible for Hami being weakened. Whether that translates into a mechanical advantage -- such as causing Hami not to agro on anyone unless attacked -- I don't know.
I do know that the pylons are a convenient tool for targeted-foe powers such as Dark and Kin have. On my Dark, I can TP a fallen teammate to a Pylon and use it to rez them.
As far as leading Rikti into the goo... that's always a Good Idea. Not only do they sometimes kill a mito, but they're absorbing all the mito attacks leaving the team to easily kill the mitos.
On a related topic, the glowy power the team leader gets for killing Hami that's supposed to weaken The Honoree truly does nothing mechanically. Castle said so. People are free to delete the power from their Power List menu and save themselves from going into an epileptic fit from the strobing lights. -
Quote:This one has a purpose. The rikti can kill mitos for you.It does nothing, I've seen people shot and killed by hami with pylons up.
The other one I don't understand is leading the rikti into the goo. All this seems to do is deprive the players of shards from the rikti, with very few benefits if you're intelligent enough not to aggro hami while taking out the mitos. -
