Question about marketing
I don't see why you shouldn't.
It's how I got there.
total kick to the gut
This is like having Ra's Al Ghul show up at your birthday party.
I think decimations, kinetic combats and rectified recticle were selling at 80-120m and only cost 1 HM instead of the 2 for a lotg. Granted if you sell the lotg for 200m or more then it's likely going to be better. I'd still double check before defaulting to lotg though.
I am an ebil markeeter and will steal your moneiz ...correction stole your moneiz. I support keeping the poor down because it is impossible to make moneiz in this game.
Here's the thing.
The point of "ebil marketeers" is that people get mad at you for being rich and say it's your fault that prices are high even though it obviously isn't.
If you have lots of money, no matter how you got it, people will be saying that it's your fault that prices are high.
So go for it! Make sure you have a costume slot for your monocle. (English Monocle, Detail 1.)

(You can sell a lucky PvP IO drop for two billion as well, so that throws a wrench in things. Mostly, it's easier than ever to make oodles off cash so go nuts and enjoy!)
Questions about the game, either side? /t @Neuronia or @Neuronium, with your queries!
168760: A Death in the Gish. 3 missions, 1-14. Easy to solo.
Infinity Villains
Champion, Pinnacle, Virtue Heroes
If you don't want a monocle, you can substitute a picture of you burning a billion inf in market fees (10 luck charms at 2 billion each, in my case). That's what I did and nobody's questioned my credentials since.
Mini-guides: Force Field Defenders, Blasters, Market Self-Defense, Frankenslotting.
So you think you're a hero, huh.
@Boltcutter in game.
So my question is: Do I still get in the Ebil Marketeers Club if I got my 2 billion inf by playing the game and selling expensive drops on the market

and only buying cheap sets for frankenslotting with? |
Was there any (unwritten) Club rules regarding the wad needing to be earned (through whatever means) solely by a single character to gain membership? That is, pooling all funds from several characters to hit the threshold is considered a cheap move.
Teams are the number one killer of soloists.
If I purchase 2,000,000,000 infamy from an outside source, do I still get to be in the Cool Kid's Club?
So I remember this one story about an enterprising youth.
He got an apple one day, polished it up real nice, sold it for 20 cents.
Next day he used the 20 cents to buy two apples, polished them up real nice, sold them for 20 cents each.
Next day, he bought four apples, polished them up real nice and sold them for 20 cents each.
The next day a rich relative of his died and left him everything. And that's how he made his first 10 million dollars.
What I'm getting at is that a particular character of mine is very close to 1 billion inf because of a lucky Apocalypse proc drop last weekend. Most of my Inf these days is made by trading in Hero Merits for a 25 LotG +Recharge.
So my question is: Do I still get in the Ebil Marketeers Club if I got my 2 billion inf by playing the game and selling expensive drops on the market, and only buying cheap sets for frankenslotting with?
