Things we're famous for: weekly (often multiple times per week) Hamidon Raids( a lvl 45+ zone wide event in the Hive)
Ditto with Mothership raids.

I know you mentioned in another thread that you enjoy the "tank & spank" playstyle. Keep an eye out for Tanker Tuesdays. They rotate through the servers, hitting Justice once a month. For more info, check out the Tanker Forum.
We like our Hami's & Shipraids here on Justice, as well as plenty of spontaneous TF's. Keep your eyes peeled in the global channels already mentioned.

So I know Brutes are a Villain AT, but I am using it in GR. When I finish, can I be a Hero Brute?

BUT... some of the same folks who run Tanker Tuesdays have also started up "Brutal Mondays". I believe the next one is scheduled for "goldside" (Praet) on the 17th. Here's the thread.

Q: Are Brutes Tanks
A: No, but some of the Secondary sets can be IO'd to very high performance levels
TTJ, Tanker Tuesdays here on Justice are on the 2nd Tuesday for each month, see sig and Tanker and Justice Forums for more details
Brutal Mondays, Brutal Mondays are on the 1st Monday of every month, meet in RWZ, see sig and Justice Forum for more details
Gold side Brutal Mondays, have been run on the 3rd Monday of every month as a "seeding event". This month's Gold side Brutal Monday will be on the 17th, see Justice Forum for more info.
As others have said when you ding 20 in Praetoria you are given the choice of either Hero or Vill to take your toon.

I was running missions with someone last night and we did theirs (loyalist) instead of mine and I gained a few levels. I am currently at 17. Will I out-level the content before the story arc ends?
You might, but it's no big deal as you're allowed to stay in Praetoria as long as you like. I "out leveled" the arc and got the "get out of Praetoria" contact, but stayed in to finish things up. I left Praetoria at level 21.5 by the time I finished everything.

As for the Brute vs. Tank comments.
Brutes do not equal Tanks.
Brute are not greater then Tanks and Tanks are not greater then Brutes.
They function differently and both have pluses and minuses. Individual preferences will always cloud the issue.

Hi, Alyssa! You're going to love it here! Not sure there's an MMO more fun and accessible than this one, and Justice is the place to be - great people, awesome events, enjoyable teaming, fun dicussions, skilled advice from knowledgeable vets, and free straight jackets. Who wouldn't love that?
My first was a Praet brute too. Made her a hero at 20. She's now 50 and still a blast to play. I have to agree with what's been written - brutes are not tanks. Try both; they're both fun to play. You'll be glad you did, and you'll soon discover if you have a preference for one over the other.

So it's been mentioned to me via a few pm's that I should come on over here and introduce myself. So hi, I'm alyssa. I used to play way-back-when (Rikti Invasion) but left shortly after to play WoW (where I've spent the last 5yrs or so). WoW just isn't doing it for me anymore, so I thought I'd come back here.
Since I haven't gotten very far yet in-game (still in the GR staring area), I got nothing else to mention that won't get me banned, deported or hosted by Dr. Phil.
