Fire/Dark for review
Hmmm, 40 views and no replies. Awesome! I must have made the perfect build!
As one of those viewers, I can tell you, I'm here looking for the same thing you are. I just rolled a Fire/Dark and am looking for ideas.
Sadly, as you're further along in your build than I am, I've no worthwhile advice, so...
Hehe, I feel ya man. I was lookin at other builds for a while and, while I found some great builds, none of em really seemed to hit all the points I was lookin for. I feel pretty confident in this build though so I think I'm just gonna start building it. I'll post again after I've done a few TF's with the completed build and I should know by then if there any obvious holes that need filling.
I took a look as I myself have a Fire/Dark which I was recently seeking advice on. First two things I notice: Howling Twilight isn't just a Rez, its a stun. A Very good one at that. It is underslotted. Likewise a corruptor with a heal that affects themself doesn't need to build for regen I'd drop the regen tissue, the Heal IO and leave health as Numina++, Miracle + and Miracle heal.
I feel like you under-slotted Shadow Fall as well but I know some just throw a lotg in and call it good.
I concur with Chaos on the Regen/Recovery comments. You just don't need Regen on a DM. The best advice I can give you concerning Fire/Dark is to suggest you take the Cardiac alpha.
I've put together a build that uses all of the powers you wanted but improves on what it looked like you were shooting for. I didn't focus much on +hp or +regen as much, but considering your level of debuffs, soft control, and damage you won't miss it.
This build gets you to 45% S/L assuming you are running either Hover or CJ. I don't remember if those are mutually exclusive powers, but if you can run them both at the same time then you will have something like 48% S/L.
I noticed you were using PVP IOs and lots of LotGs. Based on that I determined that you wouldn't be opposed to using cheap purples so I've hooked you up with Gravitational Anchor and Absolute Amazement. The most expensive set in this build is the Kinetic Combat. I'll give you a hint: A-Merits are your friend :P With those extra few percent of recharge I've gotten you into Perma-Hasten territory. It should be a pretty fun build to play! I think I left 1 slot unused... find a good home for it. Anyway, here it is:

Thank you Neo and Chaos, great suggestions. That build is pretty awesome Neo and I love that you got hasten to perma. You guys have given me a lot to think about.
Man. Now I wanna make a Fire/Dark...
must.resist.

I have come up with a build for my Fire/Dark Corr that I would like to have others take a look at before I build it in game. Its not soft capped but its close and I think all the -to hit should bridge the gap.
- 3% DamageBuff(Smashing)
- 3% DamageBuff(Lethal)
- 3% DamageBuff(Fire)
- 3% DamageBuff(Cold)
- 3% DamageBuff(Energy)
- 3% DamageBuff(Negative)
- 3% DamageBuff(Toxic)
- 3% DamageBuff(Psionic)
- 8.938% Defense(Smashing)
- 8.938% Defense(Lethal)
- 3% Defense(Fire)
- 3% Defense(Cold)
- 6.438% Defense(Energy)
- 6.438% Defense(Negative)
- 3% Defense(Psionic)
- 8.313% Defense(Melee)
- 6.125% Defense(Ranged)
- 3% Defense(AoE)
- 4.5% Max End
- 96.25% Enhancement(RechargeTime)
- 27% Enhancement(Accuracy)
- 3% Enhancement(Immobilize)
- 5% Enhancement(Heal)
- 128.51 HP (12%) HitPoints
- Knockback (Mag -4)
- Knockup (Mag -4)
- MezResist(Immobilize) 5.5%
- 25% (0.418 End/sec) Recovery
- 64% (2.862 HP/sec) Regeneration
- 3.15% Resistance(Fire)
- 3.15% Resistance(Cold)
- 1.875% Resistance(Negative)
Code:
I went for recharge mostly and end recovery after that. I have the recharge alpha on her current SO'd build, I'll probably stick with that or get the end redux alpha if it becomes necessary.
I'm trying to do this on the cheap (half a billion'ish) so not much in the way of purps and PvP's. The ones in fireball I chose because they are either cheap or I already have them. All the LotG's and heal uniques will be bought with A-merits.
My intended use for this toon is mostly TFs but I'd also like it solo well and be generally a useful all around toon.
Thank You in advance for your constructive advice.
