    Get enough recharge to perma Drain Psyche, and then have an attack chain that is nothing but cones.

  7. Here's mine. It probably has too much recharge for its own good, but I love having nearly-perma Drain Psyche. It's a little pricey, but I got it for around 300 million inf, since I used hero merits from my other characters to buy the LotGs.

    Ice mastery might not fit your concept, but it's an amazing ancillary. A defense toggle, sleet, a dull pain clone, and another AoE in Ice Storm. It covers all the bases, from extra AoE control, to damage, to survivability.

    I'd suggest opening up with Sleet, since its knockdown helps soften up the alpha. I usually don't bother to have assault or maneuvers running, but you can if you want. You certainly have more than enough end recovery to make up for it.

    Your attack chain is basically Subdue > Mental Blast, and when you get up close, throw in Mind Probe for extra damage. I didn't take Telekinetic Thrust because I like being in melee for the Mind Probe damage, and TK thrust just made it annoying as hell to stay in range.

    You can probably drop a lot of the travel powers if you want, I just picked them up for filler and extra LotG spots. You can replace them with whatever, if you don't like them.

  8. I was trying one on the beta, and I didn't get very far (lots of lag plus DoT damage makes for agonizingly slow leveling), but looking at the powers and it seems pretty good. With Decelerated and Time Stop, you can set up a mag 4 hold with Time Manip, and then stack it with your ST hold.

    Other than that, you have a toggle PBAoE debuff, so you could possibly wormhole things onto yourself, and have them lose accuracy, speed, and damage.

    Aside from that, I think the synergy is about as good as with any other controller set. They certainly don't work against each other, though.

  11. I actually went from all-human to a triform build. My PB was stuck at 30 for several weeks, until I respecced him to Triform, and now he's at level 50. I loves.
  12. The number-crunchers don't appear to be on right now. Perhaps you should wait a bit.

    And if you're going for soloing AVs, I don't see what benefit Grant Cover will give you, so I'd say go with Conserve Energy.

    Tactics is, in my opinion, far superior to Focused Accuracy. It's a whole lot cheaper in the end department, and it's obviously more team friendly, as you said.

  20. I've rolled a new SoA (planning to make him a Bane Spider) in preparation for Going Rogue. The missions from Westin Phipps involving Hugo really interested me, with the hive-mind and such, so I figured I'd make a character in a situation similar to Hugo's.

    You have a perfectly good taunt in your primary. Unless you -really- wanted the AoE, or maybe some Fearing down the line, I'd just go with Confront.
