A superhero game that I would like to play is "Universe Of Heroes" consisting of a character creator like this one, an entire galaxy or universe to travel and explore in like Spore, and civilizations that you could destroy, become their god, protect, whatever. I am imagining more of a single player game than an MMO. Not really a COH2, but as mentioned, I would hate to leave what I have here unless I could take it with me and if I could take it with me it really wouldn't be much better than we currently have here since it would be cursed by all the baggage.

That looks more like Cimerora than Peregrine.

Soul Trapped Burrito:
Is your burrito made entirely from souls or does it contain beef?
If it contains beef, aren't you worried that killing cows is a twisted form of psychological suicide, which, in turn, is harmful to your soul?
Or is it that your soul, being trapped in a burrito, is now seeking revenge for being smothered by spicy ground beef? -
I just finished taking a plant/poison controller to 50 and had fun doing so.
Having said that, the comments are spot on. The debuffs need a wider radius for splash and some of the powers need something more, be it a little more -regen, a little more damage, or additional sources of debuff to stack.
If you are going to play this set, I highly recommend that you do so on a controller. Poison has more holds than most other buff/debuff secondaries and adding in weaken means that you can hard lock lots of things other controllers cannot.
Plant/Poison was a fun combo to level, but I don't think I would enjoy it on a water blast. -
I would pay nothing for that feature. I don't want it or need it.

Once we get the new PPM procs ported over to existing and not just store bought procs, where will it be better to slot a Gaussian Chance for Build Up, tactics or BU? I assume it would be "wasted" in aim since that already gets you to the magic number. And I am further guessing it will be better in BU since you then can control when it will go off a little better, perhaps even 95% of the time.
For that matter, how often will folks get to the magic number assuming they take tactics, slot a kismet, slot the Gaussian, and slot as many of the other BU or +tohit proc IOs?
While not technically "perma" I think that in most practical situations a player can either create a build that will hit the magic number fairly frequently and consistently while in battle solo or when teaming.
In other words, who cares if a /devices can insta snipe some warrior outside the Talos Wentworth so long as most blasters can insta-snipe a grand percentage of the time while actually engaged in combat? -

Thanks for the runs last night. Lots of good players, clear instructions, and great fun.
I got to unlock both Lore and Destiny and had enough salvage and threads to craft a T3 in each. A new +3! -

If a redesign from the ground up means that I have even a chance of losing my current bases functionality or what I have in storage, then no. Please leave the Jenga bars alone.
If you could create new bases (or whatever new name they want to slap on it) with new code and functionality, then sure, go for it.
As a possible suggestion, a map editor function in AE would be wonderful. If you could somehow marry the capabilities of bases, arena, and AE such that people could design an environment to tell a story, or hangout, or fight other players it would be AWESOME!
Obviously you would have to set it to zero (or severely reduced) rewards because having that much control over the environment AND the npcs would be too good for power leveling. -

Can you explain why? It seems to me that an AoE, especially a rain, is a great place for an Achilles Heel, especially on a defender. Lots of opportunity for it to go off. But I may be missing something.

If you plan on mainly soloing, the rez and mez protection can be skipped, but both are nice for teaming. Would you skip clear mind or clarity? I also picked up vengeance and like firing it and then giving the dead guy a rez with a little boost. Plus, making your teammates vomit is priceless.
Poison trap needs a few procs slotted into it to go from terrible to fantastic. Luckily, it can take about eight or nine different procs, so you have a lot to choose from.
And I put two Dark Watchers and an Achilles Heel in my Venomous Gas. -
I also have similar problems. I can play non-incarnate stuff all day without crashing, but one or two Itrials is a guaranteed crash.
I have an older system currently running an nVidia 9800 GTX with the most recent drivers. If folks think it would be worth it to list CoHhelper and Hijack This logs for comparison, I will. But I didn't want to completely hijack the thread. -
Didn't you hear?

I agree that the reactor respecs can get tedious at the end.
My suggestion would be to make the doors in the reactor room work like the doors during the Halloween event. Have players click on the doors to trigger the critters to come out. Then the team can choose to camp one door, each go to a door, take them one at a time, or trigger them all at once. This allows the team to dictate the pace. And a lone player will not be able to ruin it for a team that wants to go slow as that lone player will have to wait a bit before triggering another spawn on his own.
If the average completion times get too good then go ahead and reduce the merits awarded to an appropriate amount. -
Quote:Kill more, faster.Hi Guys,
have run the event about a dozen times now on various alts and only got the badge once (luckily on my main badger) but even that seemed to be more luck than method.
We seem to get about 18/20 Monkeys and about 30 Ninja's before the killing stops.
I have done the gather together at one spawn point and the all spread out methods but it still feels really random.
How does it work, so that when I got the star I can get it for the guys on a regular basis?
Thanks
My tank has zero aoes at level 29 and failed to get it the first few times. Then we started camping the spawn point together and we seem to get it more often then not. Whatever you can do to do more damage quickly is what you have to do. So, damage boosts from inspirations, the temp provided in mission, the hero or villain alignment power, and recharge boosts from crafted base empowerments or Geas of The Kind Ones.
You can also form a group and take turns switching to characters with good team buffs (like a kin) or lots of aoes to help low damage characters get the badge.
Good luck! -
Wow!
That is some serious work you did there. Thanks!
I have long thought that the Help menu in this game is horrific. It has been out of date for years. Someone at Paragon made a small pass at it in an attempt to update it in the last year or so, but the work was less than half done.
Kudos to you for taking on this huge task. -

The problem with playing in Preatoria is that, now that the newness has worn off, you have to play mainly solo and frequently against HUGE ambushes.
Other than that, it is pretty and the stories are interesting. -
Nice sales! Happy Independence Day!
